Oh, I am fully aware. I am indeed surprised at how blatantly gay it is, but I've been in this business long enough to know that if something isn't outright advertised as yuri from the beginning, then it won't end up that way either.

Now here I go to the Spanish websites to read more available chapters, thank you multilingual me.

Despite being slow, the atmosphere is extremely important, like you said. I doubt it will ever do justice to the manga, but I hope they don't back down on what makes it special and at least try their best to convey that charm into the anime.

I remember enjoying Sakurako-san, despite all the convenient ways she was handed the spotlight for her AmAzInG detective magical skills, but I don't recall any amazing animation out of it. But, out of all these shows, do any of them have particularly interesting animation except for Aldnoah (which was a collab with I.G Production anyway)? I have low expectations for the anime in that regard.

Character design will be handed to Hiroaki, who made the designs for Amagami SS, that I feel could pass seemingly well since we're unfortunately not getting Nakatani Nio's full blown style on this.

The only thing that is almost already confirmed to make me sad is the character design botchering. It's not that I wasn't expecting something of the such to happen in case we ever had an announcement like this, it's that I'd be sad regardless because I am a nitpicky idiot who can't settle for less than the original. Everyone and the series itself is telling you otherwise. No one is complaining about how hella gay it is, just outright simply explaining to delusional souls like you that it's not going anywhere because that is not the aim of this manga.

Touma is pretty boring. The correct way to digest it is by looking at every other girl, who happens to be more special than Touma. I liked the nurse quite a bit, I wish she had stayed longer.

You shouldn't tag yuri on something that isn't yuri, as simple as that. But goddamn, I vehemently need this hard-gay to lead to an actual romantic relationship. I haven't seen this much blatant homosexuality within subtext in a long time, and in the long term it will only hurt because I'm going to be left out with a vague open interpretation end or nothing at all. I want substantial, direct love.

Yes, that were announced as yuri from the very start so that there was never the need to even discuss their legitimacy.

That never happened before, why would it now? I am not stating this in hopes of triggering a "what is yuri or not" discussion. This is, by all means, extremely gay, and I wish it would turn into actual yuri, since the story sounds cute and promising. But it's not romance in the end, sadly.

The art is so pleasant, too.

I don't think there will ever be any suitable utaite to fully do justice to this song, but I've grown out of vocaloid for the most part so it's hard to enjoy the original Miku sung one.

How can I support the author online? I have seen it on amazon, but for reasons (adulthood, girlfriend, our own place) I don't feel comfortable with buying the physical copies of the manga. I would still like to support the author financially, though.

You could buy her Touhou doujins. The acrylic figures are cute and don't scream devil worshipping and aren't overly gay. Next Degenkiya's volume (mostly shounen material) will have a cute yagakimi schedule. Not sure if buying GET IN THE RING albums (touhou music circle, with nice instrumentals + vocals might I add) would help since she drew many of the covers maybe? Sadly, most of the websites I find with merchandise are mostly the manga, since I'm taking into account that you want to directly support Nakatani and not buy used/resold stuff from websites like suruga-ya and Japanese proxies.
