Seen somewhere that there was staff that worked on Hidamari Sketch on the team for this one (?). I am glad and.. kind of not glad at the same time. How would it have been animated in a more traditional way? Still keeping the bright visuals ofc. With higher fidelity animation (I sense that the quality it had right now will drop after ep3, and some of it wasn't very good, but the kiss scenes were... PERFECT). Still, can't help but wonder.

Anyways, the part of me that is glad for this is much greater. I always loved graphics and visuals going about on Hidamari Sketch, it gives off a dynamic feel to it, in transitions from scene to scene or moments within those very scenes. Fan-service quite mild IMO (not taking into account the OP/ED), from someone who usually detests fan-service, it was more like small eye-candy treats for me.

Really looking forward for the next episodes, and now I feel like re-watching ep1 again :D

Ch 8, I think we all can relate to that feeling, the "MUST WATCH NEXT EPIOSDE!" feeling.

This makes Sakura Trick! an important piece in the chessboard. The future of yuri weighs heavily on this one title. Success means more yuri anime, and failure may signal the beginning of another stagnation. Regardless of our individual opinions toward Sakura Trick!, every yuri fan should be happy that the industry is starting to notice us. Let us cross our fingers and hope for the best.

May the yuri gods be with us.

Edit: the anime was so freaking cute! I was screaming inside my head, watched it RAW and again with subs, for which I waited till 2AM in my timezone. Love that it is a full 23-24min anime, love that they stick to manga with all the kissing (since it's pretty much the main idea here) with a great amount of screentime. Dropped my manhood as I was fangirling all over it... proudly admitting that.

They are sticking really close to the manga like: line by line, scene by scene, and even art (which is freaking good news)

So you don't really need subs if you got the manga on the side.
OR already know all the lines <--- I got too obsessed...

I wonder when will we get to know who is Nadeshiko's girlfriend, the last chapter or never will? It wont be like that right?

Love this mangaka, draws what others don't usually draw... And what others do, does it better. Great sense of human anatomy and how it would look in certain situations/positions, never any dodgy looking art... and the sweetness, oh the sweetness in it all! HNNNNNNG!

When I said clichéd SETTING, for those who didn't understand, I was reffering to the narrative term "setting" (quoting wikipedia):
