The situation looks strange to me. Protagonist works at game publishing company. But develops games. Solo, from scratch, doing all the coding and art assets and QA (or lack thereof) herself. She even has to market her game herself, by contacting websites and such.
Is this situation normal in japanese mobage dev field?

If it's a small mobile game then that's not that unusual even by American standards.

kemono friends exist solely for the h doujin markets..

Are you trolling or do you just live in a world of your own?

WHAT?! Are you telling me that the 3D models and the tone of the anime aren't the hot new thing nowadays in the hen tie market? Nonsense, it's obviously tailored for that specific demographic of consumers. Why, it's even a late night show and it's been reported that the visits to zoos in Japan increased because of inspired viewers of Kemono Friends. They've obviously become primal with lust.

You gotta admit that we are all waiting for that sweet bag-chan x Serval doujin.

Okay, I get the obvious comparison with New Game simply because it's cute girls working on games, but come on. This one is about individuals working on mobile games, the MC has been working at the company for 6 months, and there is actual yuri. I don't think people calling it a copy of New Game is all that warranted than calling a manga about a mangaka as copies of each other.

Someone who can read moonrunes, give the deets plz.

It's just a 5min animation clip.

I would have been fine for an OVA but a 5 minute OVA is kind of a bummer.

Hmmm... I don't know if this is yuri or not.

I don't think you understand that people who tag series usually look at the raws of future chapters. This is Vampiress Lord all over again.

Nope, main series finished airing in 2014. You might be thinking of the OVA that came out last year.

Should be a crime that it took over 2 years for this pairing to show up here.

Nope, they met the new neighbors right after moving.

People still ship this dead pairing?

What the hell are you on about? How is it dead? Last time I checked we don't need a scene of the pairing making out to stay alive.

She gave it back with a pretty clear and concise "Thanks, but no thanks there's someone else I love" and it would have been really insensitive to try to "change her mind" about that. One of Amane's clearest traits is her strong respect for how and who other people love probably because she knows how much it sucks when she's disrespected for how she does. She trusts that people know what they want better than she does and doesn't try to impose her desires upon them.

Except Amane's whole shtick is that people should be able to love multiple other people. Why wouldn't she try to change her mind by trying to convince her that it's possible to love multiple people? It has nothing to do with respect, if she was actually in love with Izumi why not even argue with her for the chance to be with her? It's because she didn't actually love her, she just wanted to add another girl to her harem and it didn't work out.

If everybody gave up as fast as Amane at the first sign of disinterest then there wouldn't be the large majority of romance stories in the world. Bloom into You would have been a one shot.

No, Izumi literally rejected her point-blank and she respected that like any decent human being would. Like, you seem to think respecting the wishes of the people you care about translates to a lack of dedication when in reality it means you care about them enough to put their wants ahead of your own.

Except Izumi didn't reject her point blank. She accepted the ribbon at first and eventually gave it back, Amane then put in zero effort to see if she could change her mind. Amane is as flaky as they come, she easily falls in love and just as easily falls out.

She was ready to break up with Nina if they both realized things weren't gonna work, that doesn't mean she wanted it to happen. Amane doesn't want to force anyone to agree with her views. Izumi had no intention to, so there was no point in pursuing her.

Of course she doesn't want to break up with Nina, Amane falls in love with everyone and wants them to love her back. The thing is that she easily falls in love and just as easily is willing to break up. She puts in zero effort to keep her established relationships. She is fully willing to break up the moment things go sour, and if everyone did that with their relationships then no one would stay together that long.

Amane doesn't even want a true polyamory, she just wants an open relationship. She doesn't care whether her girlfriends like each other, she doesn't even ask Nina's permission before deciding to add another relationship. Only in this instance did it work out because Nina magically grew such strong feelings for Ryou that she couldn't choose which girl she wanted the most.

If Amane were flighty she wouldn't have gone out of her way to fight for her relationship with Nina despite Nina going out of her way to be as difficult as possible she would have said "Oh, well what can you do" and moved on to someone else. Just because she is romantically attracted to multiple partners doesn't mean she isn't dedicated to those partners.

Except she did exactly that with Izumi. Amane shows no dedication at all to the girls she likes. Even with Nina, Amane is completely fine with breaking up as long as it's what Nina wanted.

Rushed and underwhelming, feels like there is a chapter missing between 29 and 30. Amane's feelings are never justified, she seems way too damn flaky to even consider to have serious romantic interest in anyone. It seems she will take any girl that gives her a suggestive look, spells problems for them in the future. Nina all the sudden falling for Ryou is jarring, it never establishes whether or not Ryou even likes Nina romantically.

I can appreciate Canno attempting to represent a polyamory trio but this arc was just a mess.

I don't know why I kept associating it with shinigami alice though

Probably because they are both horror manga's with gay assassins. It's understandable to get them mixed up. Lol

I thought 2.5D was a hybrid of anime and real life, like Love Live. They have the anime, and they have the real-life seiyuu performing as their characters in real lives.

2.5D originally meant for games that simulated a 3D space using 2D assets, like old school shooters like Doom and Castle Wolfenstein. It's kind of been adopted to also mean when something does the opposite when they put 3D assets on a 2D environment.

Yeah, Canno never showed any inclination to leave any of her characters out of love and alone. She makes light drama, not aaaaaangst.

Every pairings she made until now worked out somehow.

Except for the senpai that graduated and went to a school for astronomy, but I think she was suppose to be asexual anyways.

^this.......T^T

You're a little late to the party. Volume 1 was scanlated by Fly By Yuri, but was dropped after it was licensed. But since it might be a year before it gets fully translated and released Ropponmatsu and their scanlation group Kouyuri picked it up again. You should be able to read the whole thing here eventually as long as Seven Seas Entertainment doesn't ask for them to take it down.

Hope its for real, http://yurinavi.com/2017/03/18/kasesan-anime/
waiting for an official announcement.

if so, also hope its a full-fledged 23-24 minute-episodes anime series... and not a 2-4 minute one.

It could be an OVA. Is there enough material for one cour anime series?

If KyoAni can stretch a single chapter of Maid Dragon into a whole episode then I don't doubt a studio could do the same for Kase-san.

Please be real, a fluffy yuri romance anime where they acknowledge the fact they are dating is long overdue.
