I really love this mangas priorities, neither of them are concerned about the fact they are gay and accepted it immediately. But “I used to act too” is a source of great drama. This is how the world should be.

My only issue is that after reading so many chapters of Act-age I expected a procedural component and am skeptical of how much the mangaka actually knows about acting with how much they generalize

Mildly unrelated, but I always find it interesting how natural smoking is still seen in Japan, heck some probably still think it's looks cool to smoke even compared to most Western countries that have (rightfully) stigmatized smoking and are rapidly moving away from it being a mainstream thing.

Smoking is still seen as natural in the US, at least in the restaurant industry

Yes, that's a totally normal and very human thing for a human being to say in their normal human interaction of bumping into someone. This manga was definitely not written by an alien.

Aliens should also be allowed to write girls love stories that make their heart flutter
