I love how the yumikuri moment/s in episode 5 is almost being completely overshadowed by the confirmation(?) that ymir is now dead in the manga. They seem to have released the chapter and this episode at the same time and it almost feels intentional and I want to believe it is.

So when Isayama praised Life is Strange as a yuri masterpiece, he was actually in it for the dead lesbian trope?

Now I'm having trouble choosing whether I should watch "March Come's In Like A Lion" or "My Hero Academia" tomorrow. coughcoughIcouldusesomehelpcoughcough

Depends on what you prefer. Melancholic introspective anime about a depressed MC playing shogi with a touch of Shaft's crazy magic or underdog shounen action animated by good old Studio Bones. Since Sangatsu is one of my fav anime, I personally recommend it, but Boku no Hero would probably be a more exciting watch.

You should check out Rakugo Shinjuu, too

Because of Nina, Bahamut S2 feels kinda like a reverse harem with Azazel as main boy. Would be laughing if it actually turns into one.

Touko asked Yuu if she will not fall in love with her. Yuu said she got it. Touko then told Yuu: "I hate myself, so I wouldn't be able to love someone who says they love the things I hate, right? But I want to keep loving you." (It feels like a threat to me)

Dunno man, threat is a strong word. An insecure, self-hating, & broken person revealing all her thoughts and insecurities to the one she truly trusts feels more like a desperate plea than a threat. What she asks is twisted and unreasonable, but I don't think it meant to be a threat. In chap 10, she was ready to move on from Yuu if she weren't willing to support her goal to live as her sister. But at this point, I think Touko is afraid of losing Yuu since she's her only emotional support.

Haven't been keeping up with the Pokemon anime at all lately. Didn't know they are making a movie based on the very first ep. Man, hearing Mezase Pokemon Master playing in the background gives me so much nostalgic feels ; . ;

All the Pokemon Jap OPs from OS to AG are the best things ever.

Huh, they were always rlly big so I didn't notice them being bigger. I must say that because of the constant zoom-in on the eyes, I was kind of distracted by how weird Christa's kinda look this ep. Were her eyebrows always that thick?

Pascal-sensei feels like Keroro + Doraemon, except more cheesy & not as fun. It also doesn't have a catchy OP like those two start singing Keroro & Doraemon first ops internally

The only show that I rlly enjoy so far this season, tbh. Wonder when Favaro's gonna appear. Would be interesting to see him and Nina interact.

So, did anyone watch Sin Nanatsu no Taizai and is it any good?

I did & managed to make it through the first episode. Lots of gropping & censoring, but nowhere as bad as VD in terms of porno level... yet. I find it more tolerable & interesting so far just cuz the MC here is gutsy & not a boring damsel in distress. Also helps that it doesn't take itself seriously like VD.

Edit: Oh & the yuri seems 2b just service, if you're ok with that.

Apparently the massive animation team at Kyoani found something endearing in that series despite it looking like shit.

It probably went something like this:

Staff 1: Hibike did rlly well. Yuri tease sure sells. Let's find another one.

Staff 1: Is the yuri rlly blatant?

Maid Dragon anime is way better than the manga. CoolKyou is a cool guy who always has good ideas about relationships that he wants to present. But, his mediocre writing tends to make everything feels fragmented, inconsistent, & choppy. Conflicts are resolved way too easily for any real emotional impact. That chapter with Tohru's dad has 0 tension, tbh. I'm glad they didn't go for a 1:1 adaptation. KyoAni manages to pick up on Cool's good ideas and make it way more focused and endearing. It sure hell goes off the comedy route from the manga in favor of more SOL feel, but it works. An adaptation should be able to stand on its own & this anime did.
