I like nonstandard narratives when they actually progress as a narrative but this one has sorta been sitting in stasis for a while now and just rehashing that theme over and over again without really doing anything more with it.

Lack of progress is fine, as long as it is entertaining. If it isn't entertaining for you anymore, then I guess we won't come to an agreement on this, but I meant "non-standard" not in the structural sense that Nez pointed out, but more in the premise/detail sense: I don't know of any other manga that plays its MC's denial of her fangirl nature off that of her yuriness, and I find this combo unusual and entertaining, even despite the lack of narrative development.

If I may play the devil's advocate some more, a lack of progress, for one thing, does make it easier to pick up a manga four months after the last chapter was released and still remember what the heck was going on there. ;-)

But at the same time the lack of progress give you less reasons to pick a manga later.

Honestly, I like the manga, but lately I'm just checking the comments to see if anything happened out of common, like some yuri development.
At some point I will probably start reading again from the beginning. But now I'm lacking motivation, I guess.

That being said, I loved the art and expressions. Cute.

Well, I am finally managing to pump hours into Kindred Spirits on the Roof... It's surprisingly well written, very well written... Definitely better than the vast majority of yuri mangas... Even when joggling around so many characters and managing to give depth to them without losing focus on the rest of the characters. Not something I've ever seen done well... As well as so many small details in their depth, interactions/dynamics with other characters.

Absolutely loving it. Nearing the end tho.

Late to the party... but yeah, I see why ppl really liked it.

Guess next for me is Highway Blossoms, and maybe Starlight Vega(althought for some reason I don't feel much motivation to get into the latter). I don't know how either of these got received tho, I did not keep an eye on em.

I haven't played Highway Blossoms yet, but I really liked Starlight Vega.
While not perfect (seems that the last added routes were a bit rushed) I had a great time playing it. Razz artwork is lovely.
And I just loved Melody's route. She's my favorite character and her route has plenty of cute moments.
(That being said, sometimes I just wanted to go inside the game and slap Aria, the protagonist, she's a cool girl and all, but regarding her best friend she could be so... so... dense.)

I must confess that I started being a You/Chika shipper. And while as episodes keep airing I started to feel that Chika would "end" with Riko instead of You.
Was like seeing that you're going to crash, but you can't do anything to to prevent it.

And it happened.

But, the couple grew on me. And I can say that I like it. A lot.
Seeing Riko desperately trying to hide her yuri stash from Chika helped on that.

But of course, I still like the You/Chika couple. Or the You/Chika/Riko solution.

As for this doujin, the whole episode 10 was asking for this. I'm ready for the trainwreck (boatwreck?).
