Honestly I also think Shion still kinda regrets it a bit. She was fine with both of them forgetting it completely, but now that Nozomi remembers I think she at least partly feels guilty about it, even though it wasn't her fault.

Can I just say how much I love the designs in this manga? Rapid Rabbit, the Kaijin themselves, Honey Trap, they're all so good! And X's design is basically perfect. It's got that menacing vibe the main villain needs while at the same time bearing a resemblance to Rapid Rabbit, which is probably completely intended since Hayate's dimension tool was made from X herself. Having X's kaijin form be like a dark, evil mirror to Rapid Rabbit actually reminds me a lot of Kuuga and Daguva.

Though I will say I expect some sort of upgraded form or SOMETHING for the very soon approaching battle with X, since they I doubt we'd get to see her without the cloak if it wasn't. Maybe some sort of fusion or combination attack with Honey? Regardless, given this is very much a toku manga I will be incredibly surprised if neither Hayate or Honey get some sort of upgraded from by the end of it.

I wanna say that's there more to this story than what Nozomi remembers. Yes, Shion 100% took advantage of Nozomi's emotional frailty in that situation, but at the same time that face she made doesn't look like the kinda of face someone without any remorse for what they did would make.

I dunno, maybe I'm too optimistic. Either way, looking forward to seeing this progress

Could it have been handled better? Sure, but I still enjoyed the overall story. Not the greatest of course, but it's not like it was particularly long. Would have been much worse if we got this ending after 30+ chapters.

Anyway, my take is that as Rinko was falling she was able to gain her memories from future 1 before she got body swapped into her future self. Whether she actually died or not when she hit the ground I dunno. The mention of a suicide makes one think that, but I don't know if that's the actual route it's gonna go. And then there seems to be A-chan's knowledge of Rinko's time jumping, plus that phone call she had back in the first future. Though to be honest I'm not even sure WHEN that A-chan in chapter 8 is. Is that Future 2? Some other future where she actually died there?

I am now heavily invested in this series and will be eagerly awaiting the coming chapters
