I've taken this as an episodic series, loosely attached with the thread of Touma-kun being the obvious constant. However, if this latest chapter (5) were to keep going as is, I'd love it so hard. How can my Touma-kun (as in the manga in general) possibly be this cute? HOW? D:

About the actual chapter content, ego trip group members seem like the type of folks who enjoy wafting in their own farts and then discussing the brew. That part made me laugh, the only thing that could have made it better is if they threw around the word "synergy" in English.

I finished reading this a few days ago but felt compelled to come back and read the comments. I think I overall liked this? I probably just have a thing for broken characters getting fixed by healing ones.
This has good bones, though, the story's different. It really would have benefited from being like an extra volume long, to flesh everything out and make it more cohesive. Sex between Tsubasa and Misaki happened too quickly, general pacing was off, flashback (although needed) was introduced poorly, Tsubasa's father and sister needed to be actual characters.

Is anyone watching Hinamatsuri? I feel like the newest episode was so sweet that it doesn't matter what the anime or manga does afterward, I feel like it already reached it's peak in terms of character development and happy ending.

It's definitely the best show that I've been watching this season. Anzu is truly too good for this world, how can anyone not like her? I'd like to meet them and punch them in the face. Also, I appreciate how much Hina has broken Nitta.
It's been awhile since I've watched something that has a perfect balance between comedy and heart felt moments. Also the fact new characters were added every episode, but all still felt unique and likable. Now to read the manga...

Initially I didn't care for the art style, but it's really grown on me. Interested in learning about the trauma (scar on the shoulder, weird baby flashbacks?) Kano endured in the 6 years between ages 20-26. Guessing abuse of some sort, but who knows. I could be reading too much into it.

Not too sure about that, there seem to be a fair amount of straight guys who are into yuri these days.
Would be nice if it was just us gay gals though.

Think about it this way. The more people, period, who are into it and support it, the more it's a wanted quantity.

I've noticed people like to dump on this author a lot, but I think this is the first thing I've read of hers (I think it's a her, anyway), and I liked it. There's a grittiness to it that I find enjoyable.

I like to see the ending as being taken one of two ways. One being that Kiwa is going to get her revenge porn, making Ririko fall for her, only to break Ririko's heart, who will then feel like garbage, same as Kiwa did right after graduation. Two being that after they have a crazy sex romp, they realize they both had feelings for each other throughout highschool and have rekindled them.
Both those routes sound like a fun read to me.

Usually things make me snort or maybe chuckle at most, but this series never fails to have me laughing out loud. It cures all that ails me.

Also, I saw that the live action episodes have been subbed (in English) and are currently uploaded to youtube, if anyone is still interested. Live action's typically not my jam, but I did watch the first episode and it's awkward-cute. Plan on watching the rest when I'm not being lazy.

Oof. I feel like this story tried too hard to be edgy and just wound up muddy by the end. I didn't dislike it, but it had issues, will read it again eventually to see if my feeble mind can sort through it better.

Edit: After reading through the comments, it's sort of relieving to see some other people felt the same way, haha.

In a way, this series reminds me of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Hilarious, but then you're gently reminded of the initial downer premise every so often. It's like getting gut punched by a baby, so best not to think too hard over it.
