Sumin probably would still go back to Seju at some point later, or she might never ever will. In real life, not everyone would go back to their ex. The scene where Sumin was blushing from looking at the girl who was selling her incenses could imply that she wasn't broken so much after her breakup with Seju. In other words, Sumin would be able to move on like other people too. Moleguy's involvement made Sumin coming back to Seju happen imo. Should moleguy have done nothing at all and waited for Sumin to go back to Seju on her own instead? No, from his perspective. Why should he have to wait while he didn't even know how long it would take, and would the day even come? And how could he not want to do anything while seeing that Seju couldn't even have her strength to talk back to him? Also, how long would Seju be able to wait for Sumin? What if she killed herself before Sumin could break up with others, get drunk, miss their old days, and finally decided to come back to her?

Not everyone comes back to their ex but well they called themselves fated with each other, grew up together, first love and all that jazz. If she could be that easy to move on, I believe she shouldn't have revive her moments with Seju every time she got on with a girl and compare them to Seju. And with that red head, we could see Sumin seems to be happy, going buy her necklace and all, just like before the accident. I mean, you could happily date another girl but it doesn't mean you already forget your past love. But yeah, you have a point, we cant know for sure if she would go back or not.

I don't think that guy can know for sure Sumin will go back to Seju for revenge after his torture, though. He's no psychic, just like we cant know for sure she will go back to Seju or not. What he did will increase that hatred, that's for sure but how could he knows that Sumin will not go on a spree of dating thousands of girls just for the sake of it while carrying her hatred for Seju forever and disappear from her life forever?

I think, what the man did, it's not really about impacting it to Sumin, it's about impacting Seju herself, note that before that accident, she no longer wanted to eat or have the will of living but after that accident, she actually blamed herself, Sumin was like that was because of her family, so out of guilt, it's leading to her promise to wait for Sumin till she dies, and she actually stopped her terrible way of living after breaking up and actually try to be alive, just to wait for Sumin. I believe what that man did was to keep Seju alive for Sumin, not for Sumin to take revenge on Seju, aka, he wants to give Seju a reason to live, and for that he also granted Sumin a way to revenge Seju

Perhaps, the fact that Seju cheated on Sumin with a GUY had ruined their relationship forever already. Moleguy hurting Sumin would be able to force Sumin to be back by Seju's side again for her revenge. Living together can increase a chance of you falling in love with your ex again too. If his method had not worked, at least, being hurt like that could make Sumin more damaged; being more damaged diminishes a chance of her moving on with other. Yeah, the damaged Sumin might have end up dating more women, but this would not eliminate the possibility of her, at some point in life, missing her first love and go back to Seju again either because nothing would be able to change the fact that Seju and her did grow up together, they're each other's first love, etc. I don't agree with moleguy's way, but I don't see how not doing anything at all to Sumin was a better choice. Like right now that she is moving on with Sungji, there still is a chance of her breaking up with Sungji and go back to Seju again on her own too, but the chance is very low, right? Making Sungji disappear forever, or using some sort of dirty trick on Sumin again would increase the chance imo (how unlikable of me. lol)

Personally, I think what moleguy did was to give Seju a reason to live, to be forgiven, and to be loved again too, but for that he had to grant Sumin a chance to get revenge on Seju. I think feeling guilty for hurting your ex can make you feel responsible and want to compensate for your guilt, and you might end up falling in love with your ex again. I honestly find it weird that after Sumin felt guilty for her 10 years of revenging on Seju, she decided to leave Seju.

I agree that his method was extreme, but there sure were many other more extreme ways too. He gave Sumin scars on her shoulder, a part of her body where she could hide it well with her clothes on. I would call him a psycho if he scarred Sumin on her face, broke Sumin's bones, etc.

2- the real reason Sumin hates Seju, (why does Saehyun see Sumin's scar as a way for Sumin to take revenge on Seju -she could'v done the sleeping around with or without the scarring -excluded reasoning- )

Sumin hated Seju for cheating on her with a guy. Of course, Sumin could have done revenging on Seju even before she got those scars, but she didn't. She just ended things with Seju like the way other people would do to their cheating girlfriend. Which probably the reason why moleguy had to involve in the matter. I think what moleguy wanted was to make Sumin go back to being by Seju's side again. imo, because there was no way for him to make Sumin go back to Seju again out of love, but there were ways he could do to make Sumin go back to Seju again out of revenge, so he went with this idea. Giving Sumin scars was an option, so why not? He can't tell the future. He couldn't know whether this option would work or not, but I would say that if this option had not worked, he would do something else to Sumin again and again until he could have it worked. On a bright side, moleguy could give scars on any other parts of Sumin's body as well, he could scar Sumin on her face, and he also could have let Sumin die there alone, but he did call the polices (or an umbulance?) for Sumin.

3- what is Saehyun relationship to both Ann Chahee and Seju (the reason he cares much about Seju)

I remember there was a dialog implying that Seju's mom and Seju's dad were in love, so I wouldn't think that Seju's mom was cheating on her husband with moleguy. My guess would be that Seju's mom dated moleguy before she got married to her husband. As for the reason to why moleguy cares about Seju so much, I would guess that because he couldn't protect someone he loved, he wants to at least able to protect her daughter.

Nah, I already skipped it last time, well, this time I might also do that, cause I find sia ue's opinions are way too strong than the other :)))))). sia ue might not comment much but her opinions are very on point :))))).

This above comment will either make my comments called out more often, or completely ignored by others. :'D

I agree with you, but what revenge did he gave Sumin a chance to take?..

Being by Seju's side and hurt her. But like I said, he didn't do it for Sumin's sake. It's all for Seju's.

you know, Saehyun is really something, he told Sumin at the hospital in ch59, that the compensation was not the money, but that she was given a chance to take revenge on Seju. what did he mean ?

He meant exactly what he said. But I believe his real intention is to give Seju a chance to be with Sumin again. I think he had learned that it hurt Seju more to live without Sumin, more than living with Sumin and being hurt by her. So, he scarred Sumin.

that part drives me crazy!.. did he know about the bartender thing at all ?.. or there is something we don't know yet
or did I miss something ?

I believe he knows everything related to Seju.

But she would've talked to the redhead instead of facing that bastard.

Who knows if she would have talked to the redhead instead of facing redhead's fiance or not? Do you happen to know why redhead's fiance didn't dump redhead instead of hurting Sumin? or why he didn't talk to redhead instead of facing Sumin?

No, there's not. That's why I find it so impossible for them ending up together.

No, there's not. That's why I could understand why Seju had to choose that unhealthy way; it's the only option.

If Sungji got hurt or killed, Seju would've lost Sumin forever.

Are you saying if Sungji didn't get hurt or killed, Seju would have only lost Sumin temporarily?

I think she'd lose her even if Sungji broken up with her. We've seen a glimpse of it after Sungji did break up with her for a while. Sumin closed herself, wasn't responsive like she used to be before.

A probability of Sumin coming back to her would be higher if Sungji's gone, right?

I think he's playing his own game with both of them. I don't know why, but I've got a jealous vibe from him when he talked to Sumin after he scarred her...

I believe he would never ever hurt Seju.

Sumin would talk to the redhead and end things instead of getting beaten up and then ending things. Isn't it different?

After being beaten up, we saw Sumin asking if redhead could fix things, which implied that she really was in love with redhead, and had not gotten over redhead yet even after she got beaten up. Therefore, I don't think Sumin could just talked to redhead and move on easily like you said. I mean she was still not move on from redhead after being beaten up by her fiance, how could she easily move on with nothing happened?

Wanting someone to suffer and getting that person back by wanting bad things isn't healthy at all. If she was the one who told the fiance (and I believe she was), it was crossing the line.

Is there a healthy way to get Sumin back? I never said that she was an angelic person who wouldn't cross the line. Speaking of which, why hasn't she secretly hired an assassin to hurt or murder Sungji yet? If you did cross the line without regreting your actions, you sure wouldn't be hesitate tin crossing it again.

Sumin wanted revenge for Seju betraying her, it's also understandable. She chose the wrong way, breaking up would've been enough.

I don't think she wanted to get revenge for Seju betraying her. I remember what she did after broke up with Seju was that she sold her house and left Seju. That's all. She started her revenge on Seju after she was hurt by moleguy. So, imo, she did the revenge on Seju for what moleguy has done to her. Which was not understandable at all.

Seju should've told about it Sumin, not the guy.

What would have been different if she did? What kind of a better scenario would it be? Are you sure it wouldn't end up the same or even worse than what happened?

I never forgot about that, but really, at least Seju had her reason on why she wanted Sumin to suffer, unlike a certain person who wanted Seju to suffer just for the sake of a revenge, not to metion the one she should get her revenge on was moleguy, not Seju. A reasonable person would report moleguy, not to hurt her ex like that.

Does not look like a bunch of otakus in TheLurkerAgain's opinion, but might look like that in other people's opinions. :D

Again, this "most cruel way" thingy. Your proving that "it's the most cruel way because Nami said it's the most cruel way" is not convincing at all imo. Who the hell is Nami? God? Like I said, it depended on redhead's fiance too. If he were a little nicer, he wouldn't have beaten a woman, he would just have broken up with redhead instead. It depended on redhead too, if she, in the end, chose Sumin over her fiance, then it would be a happy ending for Sumin too. Seju couldn't know how worse her decision would be when she made it.

I don't think she fixed it since she at least once made Sumin's relationship go to hell, with Sumin ending up beaten.

i wonder if you would have been a Seju lover had redhead's fiance dumped redhead which leaded to Sumin being able move on with redhead.

The bisexuality thing got into her mind because of the way she was clueless on how to touch a girl even though she had sex before.. and even how she does not seem intrested in boobs.. (this is rather dirty) but ah.. it was a silly comment she said on dinner hehehhe

O_O

xD I, for one, can't hate her even if I wanted to. I think it requires a good amount of knowing the person or their pov in order to hate them. I honestly know nothing about Sungji other than that she is Sumin's cute gf. lol She has her dark sides too, but Team Gaji has been hidding them so well. People defending her always ended up saying it's not right to judge her just yet, she might not be a person she seemed to be right now, let's wait until the day the author revealed her everything, etc, etc. How long will I have to wait until the day comes?! It's been a year, and the manhwa almost ends. lol

Honestly though, my real question is, is Team Gaji hiding it or actually there is nothing to hide? Because it's all there already?

She has started fighting Seju over Sumin since the first arc, and she kept this secret from Sumin for a reason I wish to know. She's always feeling insecure, but in front of Sumin, she showed Sumin that she fully trusted her. She disliked that Sumin was always ready to leave her, but she told Sumin that she believed that Sumin would never hurt her. Sumin didn't even love her that much back then, did she really believe that Sumin had given her her heart? I find Sungji manipulative, but the author never give me enough evidences to prove if she really is or she's not.

She was caring for/worried about Seju imo.
