The problem with manga like these, is it could get sidetracked, stuck with the ambiguous relationship, and pull an ending out of the author ass when it faces cancellation.

The way you minced it made it looked like the rest of the tags are lies. On another note, I have to say the story isn't as bad as I'd expected nor it's very good. To me, it was mediocre

Huh? But the ex-girlfriend thing didn't have that much unnecessary drama and was resolved relatively quickly.
