On the one hand, Ayano and Miyoshi finally getting together would be the perfect way to end the manga. Or at least provide a second last chapter before an epilogue. But then, I really don't want to wait that long for them to get together.

That third chapter was way too precious. 10/10. 100/100. Also it looks like they're giving Ito a more complex backstory to explain why she's getting so hurt from Sumika not being how she appears in magazines to boot. I'm getting really excited here.

So with chapter two, it looks like the whole 'actress is different from how they are on tv' thing isn't going to be as annoying as I thought. I am really curious why Sumika is so fascinated by Ito though. It doesn't look like a love at first sight trope.

So at a certain point, I just stopped caring what happened with any of the adults in this series and just hoped for the happiness of all the teenagers. I thought maybe the manga was doing that on purpose, showing the more hopeful nature of young love and the more dirty, complicated nature of adult love. But now the flashback is showing me that this dysfunctional relationship started when all the adults were teenagers, so I guess that shoots that theory in the foot.

On the one hand, they could do so much with Micchan and it'd be so funny. On the other hand, anything that has to do with Micchan would take time away from our MCs. This is the eternal dilemma of side characters.

I was hoping for a bigger reaction when Himawari-san realized she'd been turning down all of Matsuri's date invitations, but with as slow-paced/feel good as this manga is, I know that's a lot to ask for.

The one cliche with stories like this is if this somehow gets written as Maki's fault because she didn't do enough to 'get the girl'. As far as I'm concerned, Maki did her part, reached her hand out. If Midori wants her life to be better, she should be the one to take the next step. No matter what happens with Midori from now on, I do hope Maki can move on a little and be more confident with herself.

How come she has mobile phone but didn’t use it to communicate instead of writing in a sketch pad? She literally wasting papers there. It’s more believable. I remembered the Jap movie drama I watched like she lost the ability to talk and uses her phone to communicate w/ her friends...

Yeah, I though so too in the first chapters, like if she is so deeply concerned about communicating with others quickly and naturally it would definitively be easier if she just used her phone and maybe a text to speech software. And I mean, if you are gonna write it down might as well use a whiteboard, it will probably even be cheaper.

They did that in the manga Special A. Girl used a sketchpad throughout most of the series and then the guy she liked gave her a whiteboard as a gift. So I guess people just don't think of them?

Overt possessiveness is wrong and shouldn't be condoned. But innocent, completely understandable jealousy is cute as hell.

I still can't tell if Midori's yaoi manga is meant to have bad art or if it's just the story that stuns people into silence
