Hi everyone, hope you guys enjoyed your mother's day. Glad to hear there was progress with your dad/Lin, Su :)

I'm absolutely exhausted. Woke up early to help kanojo and her sister (imoto) cook brunch for their mom. There were a lot of mimosas involved during the morning and so their mom was sloshed before noon. I'm quite convinced she is having a lesbian awakening in her old age and I'm the object of her flirtation. I was sitting on the couch after calling my mom and she came and sat on my lap telling me I should leave her daughter for her. Maybe this is just what happily married women do when they're bored and drunk. I looked to kanojo, imoto, and their dad for an assist and they just put their hands up and said it's mother's day and "she seems happy there" (draped all over me). Definitely escaping to the west to see my own mom next year...

I wasn't planning to go. Actually forgot about it until my sister text me about it. In the end i went to celebrate with my sis. It would look weird if i just slept in or stare my ceiling. Hahaha....

Im good. I could use more sleeping time though xD.. Thought the new stay would improve that, but I still need to be up pretty early. That aside, it's great I'm not into exam-despair mode.

Same here. I could also use more sleep. Darn my brain has gone crazy. It wakes up ever hour. I think it doesn't like me anymore. I should still be dreaming right now but my brain refuses.

I just thought being 25 is a good age to be independent. You are old enough to take care of yourself. I don't know about others but that is just how i felt after 24. The more i think about the more i just get confused hahaha...so ...dot dot dot from here on.

Haha I see. Yeah I wanted to be financially independent very early on so it's been quite awhile since I relied on anybody (my parents...) for money. I think it's important for people to have the means to take care of themselves, but that doesn't mean a partner can't lighten the load or at least do something special for you once in awhile, like the things you wouldn't get or do for yourself but that are really nice when someone else does.

My brother-in-law used to send my sister 2 dozens of roses that costing over $200. I l thought it was a waste of money. They spent thousands on diamond rings which i don't understand why. Diamonds are just some white stones.

What is being sweet like or feels like? Hmmm. Maybe i am too simple that everything is just the same to me.

Regarding food i rather just eat whatever i can buy at the store.

Super extra low maintenance haha. I'm sure someone out there would really appreciate that, but others have a hard time with someone they feel like they can't do anything for. I know I had a period with kanojo where I was really trying to fend off how much she doted on me with monetary things, but it's rough seeing her look sad if I tell her no to everything. Some people just want to provide that way and they'll be more disappointed if you don't want/like anything in particular. I still give her a hard time about how spendy she can be, but certain stuff is just not worth pushing back. She works really hard and makes a lot of money and likes to use it.
