At first I was kind of worried about what Yandere Succubus was going to do but then it occurred to me: "What IS Yandere Succubus going to do?" Aki has almost unlimited lives and Wasabi is on her side every other day. Unless Mimit plans to lock Aki in an underground BDSM dungeon or something, there's not a whole lot she can do.

Miku seems to have forgotten that cats are carnivores. She deserves to get eaten now.

^ you need to watch more anime. Everytime winter comes around, the anime girls will wear thick winter coats and scarves but their skirts will never extend past their knees.

A certain amount of bare skin is just mandatory in winter, apparently.

^Since they only first appeared within the most recent 10 episodes, you're probably right. It's an absurdly long series at this point.

Though if we're going to be technical, when it comes to mechanical lifeforms, gender is purely aesthetic and sexuality is basically a personal choice.

^ well, Kale's Broly tramsformation only started after Caulifla was acting too friendly with a boy and ended when Caulifla denied it and praised her. Other than that they have not received much screen time yet.

A little off topic but, in the afterword, doesn't Joshi chuugakusei actually mean "Middle-school girl?" A high school girl would be "Joushi koukousei" or "JK."

I feel like, in order to understand this story, you have to look at it in terms of schoolyard dynamics. Wasabi is a bullied child who has developed a deep-seated cynicism towards life and discovered that she would rather bully than be bullied and now goes around beating up the other kids and stealing their lunch money. A new student transfers in from abroad and discovers that Wasabi still has some semblance of good in that she leaves her some money for the bus fare and optimistically wants to be her friend. In chapter five, another girl comes along and tries to play at being the better delinquent only to be forced out of it in a somewhat cruel act of mercy.

This is really a story about a cynical bully who is afraid of letting herself have a heart again because she now associates feelings with weakness. Unfortunately for her, she does still care deep down and can't fully squash it.

I think what both of you are forgetting is that rebellion takes place after Sayaka has been living in Nirvana making peace with her witch form. Of course she would have been over it by then.

@cannibal. You forgot "quick to fall into suicidal depression." teen suicide exists and happens for often stupid reasons that seem important to spoiled teenagers.

This image looks so much like she is in a deep depression combined with some rebounding. She is full Yandere at this point and would probably go devil mode right now if there was a Madoka nearby to tear apart.

You're making it sound like Kyousake is the reason Sayaka was suffering. But here's the thing, Sayaka wasn't suffering because of Kyousake. Or rather, Kyousake is just a very minor reason why Sayaka was suffering. The main reason Sayaka was suffering was because of her realization that she wasn't human. She couldn't take the fact that her soul was basically just turned into Jewelry and is basically a Lich.

I'm not really talking about the show here. The image we were discussing showed her stating that she no longer cared about someone who she dedicated herself to a life of battle for and almost instantly turning to Kyouko for love and comfort. Kyouko even states that she's not behaving normally before Sayaka, suddenly very touchy-feely, looks at her with Yandere eyes and states that she no longer cares about her former lover. This image is very clearly showing someone going into a weird post-breakup depression.

Wait people hate Mami? You guys are too cruel. She's already the #1 gag character, at least say she's just ok.

Mami was sort of intentionally unlikeable just because of her role in the main story. She represents the happy delusion of the classical magical girl of love and justice, defeating evil and looking good doing it. The antithesis of Homura who represents the cold, heartless reality of what is actually happening. Thus Mami will always be on Kyuubey's side and Homura will always be in conflict with her. Basically, Mami is Kyuubey's stooge and the unintentional enemy of the main characters.

For those of you not up on your Japanese, "ano, anosa" is an expression of wanting to say something but not knowing how to start like "um... I'd like to say...". In this case, it is also a pun on Ano's name.
