Who doesn't?!

I don't think so. Yeah, yeah, probably Yu-ji will show up later on but I think the ponytail girl is not her. They don't look alike, plus the ponytail girl seems like she feels bad about the past, she seems guilty. I doubt Yu-ji cares about what she did to Seol-a. I mean, it would be a plot twist if she does.

Also Seol-a is clearly indifferent to the ponytail girl, I don't think Seol-a would act in that way with Yu-ji.

Anyway, next chapter they will talk about the past and stuff, so I think the ponytail girl will apologize about what they did (as I said before, I think she is one of the people we saw in the flashback of ch. 31 - http://i.imgur.com/97z0Q4o.jpg) or something like that.

I'm gonna bet my money on saying that the ponytail girl is Yu-ji. People change over time, and we do stupid things when we're young teenagers raging with hormones. I'd think that indifference would be a natural reaction towards someone who you had bad blood with in the past. What's done is done, but being angry won't change anything. I feel like Oh Seo-young or whoever was one of girls who bullied Seol-a, and was friends with Yu-ji. So Seol-a expected Yu-ji to come to the wedding, and that's why she didn't want to go (and of course she probably doesn't like Seo-young either).

According to the 2nd comment on comico, the user guessed that Yu-ji isn't Seol-a's first love, but rather the first real friend that she ever made. That's why her betrayal was such a huge shock for her. If Yu-ji was Seol-a's first love, then Seol-a wouldn't have been so slow on picking up the fact that she likes No-rae. The user also says that the car accident could have happened while Seol-a and Yu-ji were talking about her betrayal, which lead to Seol-a injuring her foot and never being able to dance again (which is a reference to all of those ballet flashbacks, I'm assuming). So they never resolved their problem, and Seol-a never knew the reason why Yu-ji betrayed her.

.....Shit. I need to do some serious rereading.

Good chapter. Nice to have some Seol-a alone time and inner monologue. Don't know why people thought it was a boring chapter. Plenty of important back story going on with a nice lead-in from the previous chapter. I'm personally glad we get to see Seol-a and No-rae having moments without the other always commanding their thoughts and actions. It's nice to see them being themselves without the other there physically or not. I wish more romances depicted this.

Seems like Seol-a is going back over her past relationships with other women/girls she considered to be close friends and evaluating that time and maybe comparing it to her current relationship with No-rae. I saw this because of her, "sister my ass" realization and then she goes to a wedding of some old schoolmates so I'm supposing she's been deep in thought about her female companions over the course of her life.

So far, looking at the flashback, it seems the Yu-ji meeting was more or less coincidental. I think, once they become friends and Seol-a lets her into her life, Yu-ji see Seol-a's relationship with Ji-whan at some point, goes gaga over him and things begin to slowly spiral down after that. Best guess.

In total agreement Nya-chan. You are also forgetting the next morning's freak out as well. Kinda glad this didn't take that annoying turn.

Nevri
Fluttering Feelings is moving along just fine, nothing in the characters' development has been unnecessary (ie. no pointless or useless drama).

And it's Ch.1. We'll have more than 10 pages of Emi possibly showing a growing attractedness towards Kei so no worries there.

Man, Ran was laying it on thick there. She clearly is no ditz and I wish we got to see more of your mature, real side (I feel like she's been putting up a front nearly the entire time). But talk about awkward. I think, the reason why they didn't acknowledge each other was due to the suddenness of them running into each other in such an intimate setting. Calling them cowards is going overboard however. It felt more natural for them to not talk and acknowledge each other especially after such a bad break-up and one that apparently hasn't been completely settled. Talking would have been a helluva lot more awkward than it already was/is.

One thing puzzled me. The part where Seol-A had her beer then noticed no-rae's clothes she wore from the accident and gave such surprise/sad look and it ended there. What was that all about? and what happened to them?

Probably a sort of realization of what recently transpired thanks to the accident. Both the physical danger No-rae was in and the sudden realization of her feelings towards No-rae being completely different from what she originally assumed they were. We obviously know what those feelings are but I suspect at least another chapter or two of some sparring between No-rae and Seol-a revolving around their own realizations. No-rae realizing she almost did not have a chance to tell Seol-a she loves her and Seol-a realizing her own feelings are not sisterly but something else entirely and trying to figure that out while being with No-rae at the same time. While I agree Seol-a faces things head on, I think No-rae will not try to run away again or avoid Seol-a.

I can vouch as someone who is pissed at Bethseda essentially leaving its original market for the console crowd and making a crummy PC port and basically saying, "mods will fix the game" when Skyrim launched. Oblivion started down that path after they released a decently polished Morrowind port and Skyrim went full retard. Nearly every picture from development showed them testing on a console. Morrowind was near perfection and a few gameplay tweaks here and there and future sequels would have been even better. But, they catered to the easily want to be pleased crowd and dropped a lot of features that gave Morrowind its legendary status.

I don't mean to diss anyone but Bethesda said they want to make their game accessible to people who can only spare 30 minutes at a time so they made development choices to ensure they would rake in mo money but at the cost of a more realized and developed game (imho). They cut down on a lot of abilities over the years since Morrowind and have taken away more from the game instead of working to make sure each ability can be useful and make each gameplay experience vastly different. Also, the modding community continues to cover for Bethesda's inability to add new features to their games and that is why most people say if you want to play an Elder Scrolls game these days, go PC and mod your game.

It's literally the only series/times in which a console vs. PC debate has any real meaning. Bethesda has literally ditched the original fanbase and market and relegated them to 2nd hand development status and focused on the console market and essentially told them to fix their game with mods. (Not directly stated but pretty close.) The sad part is, despite the justifiable grumblings, many still play the Elder Scrolls games because Bethseda got lucky with one of the most richly detailed fictional worlds ever created in video games. One which many people, myself included, love visiting time and time again.

Could anyone pick up on how Seol-a was behaving?? No-rea was saying she was stiff and acting...different somehow. Of course, being a comic/manhwa/manga and all.. it was hard for me to tell. Can anyone point anything out that stands out?? I went through it several times but I couldn't find any cues...

Seol-a is sitting on her sofa lookin good and feelin good, doin her nails while listening to some music when all of a sudden...!! No-rae explodes through the wall by the door to her apartment huffing and covered in sweat. Seol-a asks why she couldn't just use the door and No-rae yells backs, "BECAUSE BURSTING THROUGH THE WALL IS A MORE EPIC ENTRANCE!!!!!!" Seol-a just stares and asks what No-rae is really doing in her apartment. No-rae quickly straigtens up and yells, "ILOVEYOUPLEASEGOOUTWITHME!!!!!!" Then, whilst blushing like a maniac, she runs back out the hole in the wall before Seol-a could do or say anything.

And that, my friends, is a shock reveal.

I don't want Seol-a to go through the -omg woe is me- reveal, just the -holy shit I didn't realize it- shock one. :P

[EDIT: Omg, thanks halmoni!! Super fast this week]

But but... bursting through walls is so much cooler!!! |-(

Was No-Rae realizing her feelings really that shocking? It seemed pretty normal to me. Just a, "oh crap, I love her." A shock reveal would be something out of a shonen manga:

Seol-a is sitting on her sofa lookin good and feelin good, doin her nails while listening to some music when all of a sudden...!! No-rae explodes through the wall by the door to her apartment huffing and covered in sweat. Seol-a asks why she couldn't just use the door and No-rae yells backs, "BECAUSE BURSTING THROUGH THE WALL IS A MORE EPIC ENTRANCE!!!!!!" HAHAHA!!! That was priceless!!!!! You should write more, RR!!!

I have in the past. Wolfmen (semi-violent quasi-medieval/fantasy story), The Woman and the Bread Roll (first ever attempt at romance, it's het but it's just a confession moment), Henrick Gleeson (ch.1 of a story that never was). I have many ideas but putting it to paper/text is something different altogether especially when one is developing a science fiction universe heavily inspired by Star Wars, Mass Effect, Babylon 5, and Warhammer 40k!

PS. That bruise... my dear No-rae...

I know =( ... that looks quite painful. Also, did you notice No-rae getting nervous!! She can barely contain herself when Seol-a gets a little handsy X-D

Yes, totally! In fact, I think Seol-a was handsy quite intentionally too this time! xDD

Maybe in a way to try and comfort her though, at least that was my untranslated opinion ;P. You know when someone is hurting bad and you just have to hold their hands, put an arm around the shoulder or, give them hugs... though Seol-a's idea of physical comforting is quite... how do you say, intimate?

Please no, I'm kinda fed up with shock reveals. No-Rae already had one, no need for another realization drama.

To face death changes a lot in pple. I wonder if No-Rae realised that she didn't want to die like that, without having the time to be honest about her feelings toward Seol-A.

Someting like that? I don't expect a confession, but a hint maybe?

Nah, I don't think so. Chapter 37 is all about Seol-a having that feeling of "can't help but want her mine, no matter what". There's a reason why Shakespeare was quoted after all: it was the fated car accident that changed something between the two. Otherwise they would have never gotten closer.
Therefore, rather than No-rae's confession, I expect Seol-a to start noticing the first glimpses of her feelings, standing out too much for just a friendship. That gaze No-rae gave her and the following hug, they really made an impact on Seol-a. I bet a thought of wanting to kiss crossed her mind. So I expect Seol-a to reflect on her feelings and desires in ch.38.

UPD
LOL, I guess I was a little too late with my comment, but it seems it correlates pretty well with the pictures in ch.38!

Spot on either way!

Got my hands on the best 4x strategy game in existence a few days ago! I have been eying it for years and it is as complex and awesome as I expected it to be! Distant Worlds Universe.

Also, from the same publisher, a game about the Battle of Waterloo. Their American Civil War series is absolutely amazing and this looks incredible. I might wait a few months before picking it up however. Scourge of War: Waterloo

Yes, my avatar thing is from WDTFS, a yuri manhwa by Gaji. I'm currently working on translating it, and we're nearly done editing chapter 1. I really love Gaji's simplistic, mature storytelling style, so look forward to it! She's kinda like a Korean Nishi Uko, but better.

Nishi Uko is one of my all-time favorite yuri authors! This sounds mightily promising! I look forward to reading it :)

Pretty much. I think she's going to start putting on the moves after she recovers from the crash and injuries (both physical and mental).

Chapter 38 translation... actually, translation and rough typeset by taeyeonlikesgirls:
http://taeyeonlikesgirls.tumblr.com/post/120992447089/fluttering-feelings-38th-ch-trans

Awesome...aaand then I read everything in the voice of Trafalgar Law...

Norea-yah!

Anyhoo... that's intense. (Did I say that already?) Considering No-rae helped out Seol-a when she was attacked earlier in the story I think we might see Seol-a take No-rae back to her place and spoil her there. I could see them living together in Seol-a's place for a few days or some such thing.

And as for the jacket coming off, have you ever tried to hug someone in a big jacket and just wanted a real tight, close, intimate hug so you removed it?? I think that is what happened there.

What Does The Fox Said - manhwa that halmoni is also translating :)

Oh cool!! Did Halmoni just start the translations and or is there a place to read it??

They won't release anything until the final version is ready

So it'll eventually appear here??
