Everything's pretty okay in this. Art's okay, the childhood adoration thing is pretty excusable and the love triangle looks fun. I'm not really a fan of harem, but since it's a yuri harem, I'm in. The only problems I could point out is that

a) as @lenne18 pointed out, there's no "when we get older, let's get married!" promise, which disappoints me so

b) the protagonist's obliviousness. Airheadedness is fine, but to be oblivious of their friends' advances is a crime... Oh wait they're all girls........ Okay fine, it's excusable. Not even I know if my friends are making a move on me.

c) the fact that their boobs seem A LOT smaller when clothed.

Honoka's actually the first person Maki has shown interest in the anime so it's pretty viable there, though SID/Manga will probably laugh in your face. I say it's cute af and Inuzuka really loves to draw the two. Heck, the doujin they drew about married HonoMaki was one of my favourites!

In any case, nobody can turn down Honoka. Rule #32 of Love Live, right after Do not give Eli potato chips.

To be completely honest, Umi would have no trouble at all carrying Honoka. The latter though, as energetic as she is, lacks the strength to carry the girl for more than five seconds. Lazy Honks is lazy. Though, if it were SID Honoka, then she could probably do it since she and Umi practiced Kendo. Anyway, this answers the 'who's the top and bottom of HonoUmi'.

I'm still trying to figure out why Umi didn't get pissed off when Honoka's feeling up her ass.
