Honestly, story and main characters aside (I think most people liked them, I'm just a weirdo), VC4 is an amazingly fun game to play, well worth the 30 dollar sale price going on right now. I've always loved the gameplay of this franchise, plus I'll be honest, I will always throw all my money at anything that might eventually have the slimmest chance in hell to spawn me a second Skies of Arcadia game. Where's the Kickstarter, dammit?!

I have a hard time explaining that I both love and hate the Atelier games. They're a lot of fun, and I love collecting materials, but the time crunch factor always makes me slightly nervous. I think it's because I can't grind out what's needed indefinitely. I've only played the Arland ones, though, I think I might have heard they got rid of that eventually?

Gaaaah. My brain hurts thinking about how many games I have going right now, it's abnormal for me.

I get the impression that the author of this wants this to be (or thinks that it is) the same kind of comedy as Bright and Cheery Amnesia, but it fails to hit the mark. Instead it just ends up sort of frustrating.

I signed a slave contract with my desk, as I'm learning to love slamming my head into it after reading this series. I always say yes.

I bought the Smash Bros edition Switch console. Kinda sad the characters are just on the dock, but whatever, it looks cool on top of my desk. I didn't end up playing the Wii U/3DS Smash much, but I'm kind of actually excited for this one. Well, as excited as I get over anything. Said in a monotone voice. thumbs up

I've been playing Valkyria Chronicles 4, beat the main story and just finishing up post game stuff now. Parts of the story and the main characters were underwhelming in my opinion. Probably just partial to the first game's characters. The gameplay is great if you like SRPGs, though. The AI is still really stupid which adds to my enjoyment.
The characters Minerva and Christel had a relationship of the gal pals variety going on. I don't wanna spoil stuff explicitly, though, so if you don't want any spoilers, don't look into it, either. Uh, but don't buy the game for them, either, cause it's minor stuff. Well, sorta. Hard to explain without spoiling. D:

I'm ashamed to admit I actually watched all of Masamune-kun's Revenge. I don't usually watch harem series, but the premise was promising, with a reformed fat kid trying to get revenge as a fit teenager against the girl who rejected him when he was younger. As someone who is a former chubby kid, it felt sort of relatable. Or it should have been anyway, if any of the characters were likable. Especially Masamune, who was a solid 10/10 shitheel (not even in a good entertaining way, sadly). The story telling was also forgettable, it just quickly turned into an incredibly bland romcom that wasn't romantic or funny.

That said, maybe the manga showcased the characters better and was more enjoyable, no clue. If their writing was anything like the anime, I just hope they've learned and grown as a writer since.

I'm personally pretty indifferent to marriages/weddings/wedding dresses. However, I really like how it's mentioned they could go somewhere else to get married, but that they like where they live. Lots of people are always quick to jump to the whole "they could get married in another country" comment, but let's face it, it's easier said than done for a multitude of reasons.
So, I think that's kind of a cool response at the end there.

While there are lots of warm and fuzzies to go around in this chapter, I personally appreciate how Marie's love for Mel causes her to bloom magical floating flowers when she professes her love for Mel. That's some pretty hardcore love. Or some weird Beastkin medical condition we'll never learn about.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is the only new game I've got this year and I'm kinda disappointed with it. :')

The third game is a broken mess and I think I've been locked out of 100% completion because one of the stages gave me 404/400 gems... like, it went over the limit which I'm pretty sure isn't supposed to happen?

Also I don't remember Spyro 1 being next to impossible to complete. I tried like ten times in a row to get to the locked chest in Dry Canyon but I just missed the ledge every time and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

There are people who have already got the platinum trophies for all three games, yet here I am struggling to finish them properly due to bugs. :/

I asked my brother because his knowledge of all things Spyro is sorta creepy vast, but he said there's a known bug that happens if you've got 100% complete for the gem collection and then get the final dragon. I'm not sure if that's the problem you had, but either way, bugs like that suck. I played Ni no Kuni 2 when it first came out and there were some issues, like how you couldn't recruit a certain character before another one or it would prevent you from ever recruiting that second one. Luckily they starting patching things, hopefully they do the same for Spyro.

I also know he mentioned that the third game was done by the developer's B team, where as the first and second were done with more love and care. So... that could be why it's janky. I watched him play a little bit and it was kind of sad how the re-dub doesn't capture the silliness of the original.
