The Takemiya Jin one, which has a BL short story but it isn't porn, therefore it's not yaoi.

Dynasty doesn't recognize shoujo-ai (GL) as different from yuri therefore BL still be yaoi even though it doesn't have the porn.

I think I kind of disagree. At least while I was rereading all the chapters again, I noticed at first how Seol-a is constantly remarking on how 'cute' No-rae is. And by chapter 3 she is already lusting after No-rae lips (either that or she really likes lollipops...)

I wasn't disagreeing with you about how Seol-a had a bigger crush though, just the part about she realized it first. To me Seol-a was pretty clueless about her feelings, that it was romantic, until the hospital scene. But yes, she was the first that wanted to act on her feelings. No-rae on the other hand kinda just reacted on her feelings, and wanted to play it safe to protect herself.

The thing is, for me, Seol-a always had the bigger crush of the two, or at least, was the 1st one to realize and recognize her feelings.

Rere, the thing is No-rae was the first one to realize her feelings. She chose to run away to protect herself (then came back)

After the last chapter technically ANY doubts she might have had about No-rae reciprocating her feelings HAS to be gone. Because, at least in the 'real world' when you get someone 2.5 inches away from your lips is either your dentist or someone just about to kiss you.

I'm curious to see if Ssamba will try to undo that narrative progression in a believable way somehow. I hope not.

Nooooooo. No matter which angle you read it, there's no denial they were both ready for the kiss at that moment. Especially in that last panel you posted, No-rae's eyelashes position showed that she closed her eyes.

And if you read the whole movement, No-rae was slowly leaning her head to the side as she got closer. Notice her nostril was gradually showing.

Muwahahahahahahah.

Sumin just enjoys sex with Seju can't blame Sumin Seju is hot , plus Sumin likes her sex. I don't think she's a jerk she likes the sex they have and sex in general. She gotta get it from somewhere.

Some adults act like that, you hate the person's guts but you love banging them.

This is wrong on so many levels

I agreed.
Seju did wrong, and she couldn't be justified. But people can justify any wrong thing Sumin did. Funny.

Both were in the wrong. Period. Life goes on.

Yeah, sorry about that. I'll try to make that more clear in the op. It has to be tagged that way to be allowed on GreasyFork for whatever idiotic reason. I really don't get it since it's not like the script is the site itself and anyone looking for a script on the site is likely to know what kind of contents a site has beforehand anyways.

Yeah thank you. I just didn't read it through.

What the fuck does this tag actually mean anyway?

Baiting-yuri-thirsty-fan tag so that they can read the series with emotional preparation for some yaoi but dont expect the yaoi to happen at all. But then yaoi happened.

I just read this series and thought "wow I bet there's gonna be lots of drama about this one on dynasty" and well, here we are...

lol the question is, which team are you on?

  1. Blonde team

  2. Pink team

  3. Black team - (if you're on both team Blonde and team Pink, OR you defend Black at all costs)

  4. Dont give a fuck... as long as theres good sex and good drama.

Even their road trip on the way to No-rae's hometown would be interesting too lol. Ssamba made me appreciate every single moment they're together, no matter what they're doing. F*ck I'm so excited for tomorrow.

But people sometimes can't keep their emotions in check, and then they do stupid things. That's what makes us different from machines. I'm not putting the blame on Sumin, because I can completely understand her side as well. If we're gonna talk about who's at fault for their nasty breakup and the messed up "relationship" that followed, I, too, would probably say, that Seju carries most of the blame. But I don't hate her for that and I don't think it makes her a bad person. I don't know, I guess what I'm saying is that I don't blame neither Seju nor Sumin for being human and that I honestly think both of them are great characters.

I agreed with everything you said. Very well written. Thank you.
People don't remember Seju and Sumin were both quite young when it happened. Mistakes happen. Maybe some readers haven't even gotten to the stage of life of regretting their earlier mistakes because they're still too young.

Is it just me or am I the only one who would love to see more of No-rae's family? I'm especially interested in seeing how the both of them will act in front of them when they do visit. And like...I really want to see No-rae's sister? Like can you imagine Seol-a trying to get in the good books of No-rae's unnie? (she seems to be quite the character from the .001 of a second we saw her)

She's studying abroad in the US. Even if she does come back to visit, the most plausible time is during the summer, which is a semester away in the story's timeline. I myself don't have any hope for that lol

So I've just reread some of FF again for the zillionth time, and got so frustrated because it made me have all these wonderful thoughts and beautiful feelings but I don't have the vocab and writing skill to put them in a coherent manner. *Urg*
But I gotta say with how the latest chapters unfold, rereading FF has been hella fun and much more enjoyable. There were so many layers in every chapter and now I realized they all intertwined or connected with each other at some point later in the story. Rarely was there a wasted scene with no intention or purpose behind.

ACT 1 (ch 1-19):
What a great job Ssamba did in the first act to introduce our characters, and concluded when No-rae and Seol-a overcame the initial hurdles to become friends. Rereading this act has always been a pleasure. The attraction was always so strong between the two characters. No-rae's glances watching Seol-a in class or at party, or Seol-a's gazes admiring No-rae cuteness when she eats just pulled me right into the story.

But better than that was the awkward tension between them after the unspoken misunderstanding. From the scene where Seol-a froze contemplating whether she should approach and talk to No-rae at the bench, to the gazes she gave No-rae at the restaurant, to that awkward moment when Seol-a suddenly stopped No-rae entering her home building, only to awkwardly wish her get home safe. No-rae on the other hand was a lil harder to read. But you could tell from her hesitating to call Seol-a in the morning of the MT trip, to her secret glance at Seol-a at the beach. Yes, those secret glances at each other (that unfortunately never met) throughout MT trip was quite engaging to me. The tension was delicately presented portraying their strong desire to be freely by each other side, to easily approach each other but was yet able to. The invisible wall was then broken the next morning by their moment alone, together watching sunrise (symbolizing a new stage of their relationship). Finally that they could entitle themselves the seat next to each other on the train home, with No-rae's sleeping on Seol-a's shoulders. What a good moment to close the curtain of the first act.

.
.
.
Nice to read again moment:

Immediately after No-rae admitting the ocean made her feel sentimental, she asked Ji-hwan about Seol-a lol.
I like how Seol-a started to seep into No-rae's thoughts everywhere, and how she kept wondering why the rumor about Seol-a and Ji-hwan used to date kept her being concerned. Anyway I just love how they thought about each other all the time. Period.
.
.
Fun finding:
I suppose a lot of us remember this fun extra:

But has anyone noticed the stages? From Seol-a being energetic running to see sunrise, to her being sleepy watching sunrise, to her not wanting to wake up and go at all. Note that she was with different companion each time. I always thought it was funny, and nice to remember how different "Seol-a before No-rae" and "Seol-a after No-rae" were.

Don't you agree that our Seol-rae has come such a long way to what we've just got in Chapter 63? The journey was what made it feel so satisfying.

*Off I go to read act 2 again for the n-th time, with n>50*
jk about the 50

I really think Sumin is hot wish she were real or met someone that looked like her.

According to SNSD fans, Sumin was modeled after Taeyeon lol

Sungji's role is obvious here, it's to heal Sumin. She is there to teach Sumin how to love again. So we can just rule out the Sumin might cheat on Sungji scenario, because if that happens, we'll be back to square one and this will not be a healing story, it'll be a tragedy. Also it'll show that Team Gaji is a shitty author (which they are not).

I agree completely. If Sumin ever cheats on Sungji, I'll drop the series. What kind of move is that? Sumin was broken by Seju's one night stand cheating and could not forgive her after 10 years, so Sumin should never ever do that to someone else.

I'm still hoping that team gaji would give us a little more insight about Seju. I want to see the story from her perspective, because to be honest, as much I love seeing the progress between Sumin and Sungji and how cute they both are, the story is getting kind of boring. I can't believe I'm saying this but some drama is kind of needed here. The story needs a little spice.

I'm on no one's team; I just want to read a good story. So I agree that we need more of Seju's pov, like those chapters with Seju's inner monologue about how she thought Sumin would always come back to her then she walked in on Sumin sleeping on Sungji's lap. It was dark but "spicy." With the latest chapters, I feel like WDTFS is trying to be FF (lol), and I don't think it's working *just yet*. Maybe soon. Idk. But WDTFS should definitely stay WDTFS.

Didn't they originally plan on 40 chapters only, then extended to 80? Could it be that they're a lil lost? lol

I am also not so into the idea of Seju ending up with Nami. Seju dislike her so much to even forbid her from coming to the office without permission (I really want to know the reason behind that). I agree that it'll feel kind of forced if they somehow get together anytime soon. Maybe later, but not now. If they want to pair Seju with Nami, maybe they could just hint it to us with some progress in their 'friendship'.

Yeah. Team Gaji really needs to show me more about Nami, because as of right now I'm not sold on this pair at all.

What are you talking about? There are 2 main couples: Yurine x Ayaka and Mizu x Moe. They're both on the covers of volume 1.

Yurine...? Oh! You mean that girl who was Mizu's rival for a bit! I remember her. She was interesting. Didn't really get what she was about, though. Some kind of slacker prodigy? Maybe the author will write about her at some point. Would first have to expand her character a bunch, though. She's too obviously a side character, just being unmotivated and good at stuff like that, she'd need more depth to her if she was going to carry a chapter or two.

Weird that she was on the V1 cover alone, though. Putting a side character front and centre like that is strange enough, but when it's just her standing next to some bland empty space, the whole image just looks unfinished. Especially when we already have such vibrant and interesting protagonists like Mizu and Moe.

Don't forget another of our prominent support character, Ayaka, who is the stereotypical tsundere and has almost no character development. I think I remembered I used to laughed and grinned at her tsundere antics since I loved tsundere but now, I feel nothing when she's acting all tsundere. Poor lass has been demoted from a support character to a dull running gag, and that is quite sad.

Who's Ayaka? Gale said there's some bland empty space next to Yurine. Maybe the author should introduce this new character Ayaka in there. Then maybe we'll see a good side couple

You see, there was supposed to be an Ayaka in the series. She was originally intended to be the rival/ lover to Yurine with a personality and good character development; however, the author thought that the series was a bit to similar to Comprehensive Tovarisch, so they scrapped Ayaka and replaced her with a... something that is equivalent to a typical tsundere in a typical harem anime. That is, blushing furiously at any act of romance/ kindness that Yurine showed to her.

Lol Salamandrake, I was just trolling along with Gale, but thank you for reminding us how potentially good Ayaka was. She was my favorite character from the beginning as well. Too bad the author took such an unfortunate turn. Hopefully the author will stray back to the right path.

Lyendith

Kinda, yeah. So far, that would be >
Ayaka and Yurine: 1, 2, 5, the extras, 11, 12, 15.
Mizuki and Moe: 3, 4, 16, 17, 20.
Chiharu/Maya and Chiharu/Izumi: 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
Yukina and Towako: 12, 13, 14, 15.
Kaoru & co.: omake 6, 18, 19.

You're awesome. Thanks for laying out the chapters. It would've been such a pain to re-reading the whole series again, going through characters that I had no interests in. This should be pinned to the top lol.

This was a good story. I'm glad it ended so well for the main characters.

...

These two were the main characters, right?

...

I can't remember anything else about this manga except something about wanting to win at a race and then these two splitting up and then finally coming back together and omygod I think there were other characters and other storylines...

...

Gosh I love these two characters. What a great manga! So sad to see it come to an end!

These two are (sadly) not the main couple; they're one of the many side couples. Ch. 20 is a closing act to their story, not the entire manga.

But I think that's where the author's mistake is. They intodruced too many side characters that the story lost its focus. The readers can't even remember the main characters names
