This manga is by the azumanga guy yes? Is it anything like as funny, and has any of it been released in english?

It is arguably even funnier/better than Azumanga (I would say definitely better than the manga, but not quite as good as the anime), and yes it has been released in English! 11 Volumes have been released in English so far, with more on the way. I would highly recommend getting them.

As for the tags though, I do sorta wonder why "het" would be there? As far as what happened, the opposite pairs didn't really interact at all. I'd see it more as a straight up yaoi/yuri work.

The problem of how on earth to even describe what goes on here is the reason for that. I mean, in the opening where he's jerking off in the middle of class, is that just masturbation? Or het, seeing as his dick is a girl?

This manga raises many important questions.

Wow when it cut to a flashback of Keine complimenting Mokou my chest genuinely tightened up. Mokou is truly the most depressing character of all. Kaguya and Eirin have each other, but Mokou? No-one.

This whole thing is sad. When they casually list off all the protagonists and mention how they've all died, it's just.....poor Mokou man. My fav Touhou gurl, doomed to the worst life possible.

Shame this whole doujin isn't school-life based. I wanted more Yuugi/Parsee in school romance. ;_;

There is a great dearth in KasenxReimu doujinshi. Kasen seems to be the target of nothing but all the lewdest hetero porn. I hope this changes.

Feels pointless to say it really, but Otsu Hiyori is awesome and this is along with Aqua Blue Cinema my favorite of her's Really sweet, I love it.

Really beautiful, the limited color use in this is just amazing. Not a huge fan of Reimu x Yukari, but this one is so good it doesn't matter.

@Hylarn Out of character? How so? Touhou character's in general lack real personalities in their official work (even the different manga's written by Zun have not too similar characterizations) but Reimu seems pretty identical to most depictions here: aloof and calm despite the bizarre situation she's in.

It is a weird pairing indeed, but any Kogasa pairing is a 10/10 pairing for me. And yeah this was cute funny doujin with a nice ensemble of artists, I liked it.

Although that one where Marisa has passed away and Flan doesn't believe it comes pretty close.

Any comments about the yuri-level of this series? I haven't checked it out yet.

It's rather Yuyushiki-ish. Not really yuri at all, but with occasional jokes and hints about that kind of thing. And all the characters (except 2, one of which hasn't shown up yet) are girls. Hidamari Sketch and 14 Juicy are comparable in that sense.

Also I wanna say, this doujin was a personal fav of mine years ago, and still it really. One of the first yuri doujins I experienced, I like it quite a lot to this day. It's sweeter than your average nsfw doujin.

Hopefully someone else will pick it up some day. It's pretty unlikely, but here's hoping.

Easy answer: it's translated by Horobi no Michi. They're a pretty awesome group, but sadly they haven't uploaded a new release in a year. Here's hoping either someone else pick's this awesome manga up, or (more hopefully) Horobi no Michi comes back.

One suggestion I have for the future Lena is that you should give your translations titles, preferably the titles they had on Pixiv. It's a right pain trying to make a title for things like pixiv comics for the reader, especially when you don't know a word of japanese.

The ending was awesome dudes. Just because they weren't having sloppy makeouts on the grass doesn't mean it wasn't a great ending to the story. Like Ebisu-san, sometimes showing the manga ending just as the relationship really begins is the best ending possible, as it doesn't have to force in a kiss just for the sake of having one. The bonus chapters adding more to said relationship is just the icing on the cake.

Anyway those two are the Aki Sisters, Shizuha Aki and Minoriko Aki, who are the first boss and midboss of Mountain of Faith.

Due to their somewhat generic design compared to other characters and their lack of personality, they usually rank bottom of the popularity lists of Touhou characters. Due to that, they have ironically become more popular, usually portrayed as desperate to be noticed or shown in doujins and fanart and all that. Their appearance here is a somewhat extreme version of that.

I hope you appreciate the irony now. it's wonderful.
