I sincerely hope it's not Klee cause that's literally a child. I think for Keqing, based on her voice lines about everyone, Xinyan seems to be the person she has the highest opinion of. Xinyan is a character that's about to be released in 1.1, the pyro rock star character. Keqing says she really enjoys her music despite how anyone else would look at rock music.

^ If you have Ifrit, she basically just fucks up everything so... There's an Ifrit tile where you can drop her down and let her work. You'd need someone to cushion the defense crushers that come out though, there's Gitano and Silverash, and I think Blue Poison with S2 will work. There's probably other people but I have used the same team for my Anni3 runs for forever now and don't remember jack shit.

I just recently switched to using Ange since I'm trying to build her trust up faster and she works too but she'll be in a different position. Dreamy has some guides on Anni3 if you want to check them out on Youtube.

Lol yeah I figured there would be one. At least Arknights doesn't say the gender of the doctor and Genshin lets you choose between Lumine and Aether to play. Lord of Heroes also lets you customize the main character and even let's you choose SKIN COLOR, something I do not see much in these games. It's a Korean game though, so maybe that has something to do with it?

I'm not sure just how popular it is, but https://syosetu.com/ seems to be the main Japanese web novel site - its where I Favor the Villainess was originally posted, probably alongside other light novels. Searching "Yuri + Isekai" got me 744 works, though I haven't read them at all so I can't comment on the quality.

Interesting... I'll check it out once I finish reading the CN novels I'm currently reading. The best thing about web novels compared to comics is that you can google translate instead of waiting for a translator to pick it up. The quality of the translations are definitely sketchy, but they make sense for the most part so I recommend it for anyone who thirsts for good yuri.

Also an interesting thing I noticed is that villainess redemption plots are really popular with yuri fans regardless of whether they're in Japan or China cause there's a lot of those. Most of the popular CN transmigration novels I read have something to do with a villainess and I Favor the Villainess was the same. Based on the titles of the works I'm seeing right now, there's a lot of that on syosetu too. Guess there's just something about villainesses that attract lesbians...

^ Speaking of relying on lewdness, I keep getting ads for a new gacha game called Illusion Connect and it's soooo focused on fanservice that I literally cannot bring myself to even think about giving it a chance. And this is coming from someone who actively plays Lord of Heroes, a game which is P2W as fuck since there's PvP. At least with Lord of Heroes, the art doesn't make me want to bleach my eyes and the MC actually looks fucking hot as fuck. Genuinely only playing that game because the MC is totally my type (plus the story is endearingly positive with solid morality even though it's kinda Mary Sue).

It really makes me appreciate games like Arknights and Genshin Impact where you can play completely F2P and be fine while also have great gameplay, art, and lore.

Naw, they taunt every enemy, but sometimes there's a chance enemies will ignore it based on the distance of where you're at and where the enemy is at.

So I saw some leaks of what the upcoming banners might look like anddd... I'm kinda sad about it tbh. One has all the 4 stars I want, and the other has the 5 star I want. Pretty sure Zhong Li's banner will come first and then Childe's banner next, so I'm just gonna pray to whatever is out there to give me Zhong Li on my pity and not another 5 star and then pray to not get any 5 stars on Childe's banner. Hey, you just need to wait 2 months until Arknights anniversary and then we'll have our operators. Also an interesting thing I saw on the Genshin Impact reddit was that Arknights beat GI on the Chinese app charts recently. I'm assuming it has to do with the limited banner on the CN server. I'm pretty sure it's gonna reverse and GI will beat out Arknights once 1.1 drops but it's pretty funny how AK and GI are swapping around with each other on 1st and 2nd place.

I'd love it if there were more translated isekai yuri novels, but tbh I don't really see enough of them for me to feel anywhere near tired of it. Is there any sites that host any Japanese web novels anyone knows of? I usually read Chinese web novels from jjwxc and there's toooons of yuri isekai-adjacent novels but I genuinely don't think I've seen many Japanese isekai ones that aren't gender bender.

P.S. I call the Chinese ones isekai-adjacent cause their term for it is transmigration, which is essentially the same concept as isekai, just with some other features. Like, instead of being transported into a game, they would be transported into a novel and instead of getting some weird powers or cheat skills or whatever, they have a thing called a "system."

Yeah there's Sora, but she doesn't give you any trading post buffs like the Lappland x Texas x Exusiai combo does. Also I've been farming TW-6 and TW-7 and they're both really good farming maps. Literally getting the dropped mat like, almost every run. I run out of aketons really easily so I'm glad I can stock up on that.

Another thing, you should finish your challenges cause there's two more maps that are hidden behind those challenges that also have a mode where they give you specific operators you have to use including W and Phantom. Those two maps are also the ones that will drop the last two furniture pieces you need for the set you can get in this event.

I'm just looking forward to the new extra maps so I can complete the medals and have a shiny new medal set I can put on my profile. I've always been a fan of the cosmetics in games when they're done well, and Arknights hasn't let me down on that end yet.

Amber, like any unit in the game, can be good if you build her right. She's just considered bad because her talents don't seem as good as other units, which is kinda dumb considering how her Baron Bunny can taunt literally every enemy in the game including bosses. Her ult is pretty shit though.

Amber has one thing going for her that others don't have, and that's the fact she's a pyro archer. Pyro reactions with cryo and hydro are really good cause of the direct multiplier to the damage done. Also the fact that you can hit weak spots for extra damage as an archer. This lets her deal massive crit damage if you're actually using her as an archer. You can also build her for elemental mastery so that when her Baron Bunny explodes, it can deal large amounts of damage.

I don't really think Amber needs a buff, unless they decide to do something to her ult cause it really does suck. An AoE rain of arrows but the area is small as hell and the damage isn't even that good? Like literally why would you ever use that when both her regular skill and charged attacks are just better.

Bruhhhhh that's so cool. Also I've been watching 777ucky's livestream of the new chapter and goddamn it looks great. I'm genuinely really excited for the update when it gets to global in a few months. Also Rosmontis's skills seem really good. She has Firewatch's range but hits like an AoE sniper except instead of shooting stuff, she calls down like, pillars or something. I'm not really sure how to describe it but it looks really cool. I didn't really care much for pulling for her, but you know what? She looks cool enough that I'm gonna save for her too.

Insta bought Ange from shop and I already had all the materials to promote her to elite 2 but actually forgot to get any of her elite 1 chips. Bruh moment.

Sucrose is pretty good! I'd use her but I'd have too many anemo characters on my team so I have to pass on building her. Also as cool as most of the stuff they're adding in 1.1 is, I'm just sad that there's no news about when Xiao is dropping. Based on the art they showed, it's probably gonna be a Zhong Li rate up banner and then Childe one after. This means Xiao is probably getting pushed back to February for the Lantern Festival. I really don't want to wait that long for him... Guess I'll just settle for getting Zhong Li first and figure out how to build what I have around him.

So Texas's Epoque skin is what she looked like when she was still in the mafia... I totally understand why Lappland wants the old Texas back now. Didn't think she could get any cooler but her dorm animations have her wearing shades when laying down and she's literally smoking with her special animation. Mafia boss Texas comeback when?

So I just read through a huge lore dump reddit post and damn. Kaeya, Beidou, Ningguang, and Lisa so far are the 4 4 stars who lore wise suggest they should be 5 star characters. I wonder if Genshin will add a feature that lets you increase someone's star ranking in the future through story content cause it really doesn't make much sense for these characters to be 4 stars based on literally everything we know about them. Spoiler warning for the post since it's a lore dump, but not all of it has to do with the main story.

Another thing to note is how Klee's mom is fucking bonkers. She's a classic mad scientist type of person, but there's indications that she might have been isekai'ed to Teyvat just like the Traveler. The evidence for this is how she taught Barbara what an idol was, and how her Teyvat Travel Guides read closer to how someone who didn't come from this world views it. Her name is also Alice, which may be an allusion to Alice in Wonderland. Would also explain why she's such a sociopath since she doesn't view this world as her world.

Fuck that diary entry telling you to beat the Mudrock stage with only 6 operators. If I didn't have Mayer and Magallan, I would've been fucked otherwise. Even then I barely 3 starred it near the end, thank god for Mayer's robots and Projekt Red.

Haven't touched any of the artifact domains yet cause I'm still trying to farm a physical dmg gladiator cup for Razor. Unfortunately have just been getting a bunch of wanderer's troupe stuff and the one gladiator cup I got was hydro dmg so... Another day in the grind...

Also fuck the Oceanid boss, glad I don't need to ascend any water characters except Barbara, and I'm keeping Barbara at level 50 so I don't have to touch her ever again.

Rolled until the pity 5 star and got Nearl. I mean, I don't really care either way since I don't particularly want anyone on Suzuran's banner but it would've been nice if I got someone new and not a duplicate. Also bought Mostima and Astesia's skins even though I don't have them. I'll eventually get them so might as well have them in reserve.

I cleared all of the event stages but there's an interesting mechanic in the event missions where you have to solve some clues to clear specific goals. Like the 1st one is talking about how you have to clear Suzuran's stage without letting the enemy take control of any of the devices. Gonna work on those right now, and I'm probably gonna save the event story for later reading.

There's some voice lines from Beidou about Ningguang and some voice lines from Ningguang about Beidou so there's some intersection between them, though there's more rivalry tension than anything LOL.
