It does kind of reek of rape at the beginning, but for me personally it's always hard to tell the difference between the actual thing and just usual Japanese culture with all the "Nooo~!" 's. I mean, I could consider it not to be rape since she's technically consenting so that her misdeed isn't exposed. I dunno. I also get how coercion itself is rape. There's always a fine line with blackmail type stuff, huh?

Seriously, Mira has nailed the whole guilty pleasure thing, though. I shouldn't like this one as much as I did, but she wraps it up in such a feel good way it's hard for me to dislike it. Hell, it might be one of my new favorites of hers. But like Doctor_Hoot said, I totally get why someone would take issue with it and not like it.

Okay, I still feel like the humor here is close, but I think the major problem with this was the setup. It didn't need to take 10 chapters for us to notice Miyuu has feelings for Kano in return, if the main goal of the series was to get to this gimmick. If it had happened in the first 4 chapters and every chapter since had been Miyuu trying (and failing miserably) to confess, maybe more people would feel differently about this. The fact there was an attempt at some possibly serious underlying plot (I'm too lazy to go back and look up her name, but the crossdressing stuff) just makes this current state of things slightly confusing. What does this series want to be? We'll find out...maybe...eventually...
Or not, it's cool. I'll still keep reading it.

I'm not super well versed in the Touhou universe, but I've been trying to randomly read a few doujins from it every week, so I'm slowly ingesting and learning about it. I'll be done in 30 years. Anyway, this is by far one of the sweetest things I've read on here period, holy crap. So good, this was near perfect.

Hrm. I think I referred to this as harmless schlock a couple chapters back, but this last chapter definitely doesn't feel harmless. When you gently kick a straggling puppy to make it run across the road, the end justifies the means. When you take away a child's innocence to "have her grow into an adult" (?????) it doesn't really work that way, huh.

I liked Underdog, but using the phrase from the exact time of life I'm talking about, I didn't "LIKE like" Underdog. That was more the live-action hero-canines from yet an older generation, like Lassie and Rin-Tin-Tin.

I think that's a problem that a lot of entertainment mediums (tv shows, movie franchises, anime, game series, etc) have, going on longer than they probably should. But hey, if they're still making money, they'll still be made, yeah?

I tend to agree, though, with the exception being Final Fantasy stuff. I like how each game had their own unique systems in place, until they took away the turn based aspect. I wish they would go back to being a little more generic gameplay wise and less "innovative."
Which I know they do that with the Bravely Default titles, so I guess I can't be too grumpy about it.

This was my initial thought as well. The characters look less... I dunno, lumpy? than they used to. Good on her.

I definitely appreciate her stuff more when there's some kind of fantasy/supernatural setting to it, I guess it's what sets her work apart.

I also came to comment about the cabbage/kabocha thing. Cutting those will make you take a finger off for real if you don't know what you're doing, haha.

The blush factor was super strong in this one. I've been re-energized for a month.

For how short these are, they really capture that feeling of being young and those early butterflies.

"Relatable as hell" feels like an understatement. I didn't want to pass judgment over this one too hastily, but after two chapters, there's really nothing for me to dislike here. This is looking to be pretty great if it keeps this up!
