Old meaning from a different uniform with shorter socks if she didn't make it herself. If I were a yandere, I would be disgusted/miffed by the thought of someone else having access to or a piece of my 'happiness.'

It would make more sense later on if we get to see Sato agonizing over having to give Shio's sock to the boy, if only for a few panels. For simplicity's sake, Sato probably gave the real one.

What I meant to say was that I could imagine her going about this another way xP Getting him familiar/addicted to her scent and existence instead of Shio's so that she can have a certain control over his trauma of women and insert other twisted reasons.

I feel like Sato, being overly possessive and all, would be put off by anyone else having anything to do with Shio. So I imagine that she gave an old sock of her own or crafted one similar enough to trick him. I wouldn't even be surprised if she smelled just like Shio at this point. If Sato is crazy enough, and the boy isn't crazy enough to magically know if the scent belongs to Shio, Sato could use her scent on the sock to get him familiar/addicted to her scent/existence instead as he keeps indulging himself with the sock (if they don't smell 100% the same, that is).

But that's a convoluted plan so maybe she just sacrificed the sock after weighing the pluses and minuses of getting him knee deep into trouble with her. It's manga so if people are crazy enough, they'll immediately recognize the scent of the people they're obsessed with by manga law even if they haven't been in contact with them for long periods of time. I hope she didn't sacrifice the sock though!

Miss Sunflower doujin idea

Shishou gives Miss. Sunflower books that were supposedly recommended to her by the previous Miss. Sunflower. Within the stack of books, Shishou snuck in a raunchy yuri novel (age gap, student teacher) as a joke. Naturally, since Miss. Sunflower wants to be like her predecessor, she reads all of them. This was however, the first time she had ever been exposed to such lewdness and develops a strange sense of arousal especially when the relationship between the characters in the novel resemble that of her and the previous Miss. Sunflower as well as Matsuri. When Matsuri arrives the next day, she begins to act self-conscious of their interactions until Matsuri finally confronts her and stuff happens.

I didn't get what the importance of the eggs carton was. The girl forgot to buy a new one, I guess? Why is that relevant?

If you look at the tail of the speech bubble in that panel, it seems the girl was asking the Doctor to buy a new carton of eggs. The Doctor then replied that she would buy more eggs, but she purposely chose not to. The lack of a new egg carton (and the emptying egg carton) foreshadowed the limit on the girl's stay at Doc's home and possibly an attempt to end the relationship. If the Doctor had bought more eggs, then it would be safe for the girl to believe she can stay longer because someone has to eat them.

Eggs = a promise of a place to be. She figured it out.

Huh, surprised about this being uploaded here. Neat little story although the ending was somewhat lacking. I also would've liked a less, let's say "angular" style for the art. At times the characters look really, really manly.
