@telamon The reversal depends on the people who ship them. personally I feel Anna is always the dominant one in this relationship. You can have either of them be on top and it make sense.

Haha let's not forget whom Korra messaged ONLY in that gap between season 3 and 4. So a lot was left out we don't know about with the development of their relationship. I wouldn't know. I don't look at most porn, cause 95% of any manga/smut I read is Yuri and 90% of that is probably vanilla. The occassional hentai (use random search) I get around to look at just contains the rape and the female denying liking it up until the very end, usually signifying corruption is complete. I don't like these because it's always the whole 'oh you say you don't like it, but your body is honest' bullshit script that ignores basic biology...just cause you get a girl wet doesn't mean she likes it, but such is unrealistic fantasy, but I digress. Adding forceful sex at the beginning of any doujin that could have easily been fluffy-vanilla-kawaii desu-smut ruins whatever comes afterwards. The only reason I consider it a good read was because I saw a plot, at least I think I did, cause it was buried under all the crap.

The problem really is that we hear the same people over and over again saying the same crap...over and over again. And believe it or not, my frustrations are also from other sites like tumblr and dA, so my intensity is for being fed up with people in general.
Though, the more annoying thing that I'm sure gets on even your nerves...is when anyone who doesn't like or care for the pairing GO ON A DOUJIN THAT DOESN'T HAVE THEM SHIPPED WITH THE OTHER and whine about wanting their favorite ship instead. I wouldn't go into a NicoMaki doujin and go 'hey, this could be better with MakiHono' so why can't everyone do the same? The ships aren't that big of a deal, and a lot of NicoMaki shippers make it out to be, so forgive me if I seem 100% fed up with them because I am.

I understand people are frustrated with this manga, so am I, but there's nothing we can do about except wait, hope for the best, or drop it...or in some cases threaten to drop it and come back after each update and bitch how it's going nowhere. I am about inbetween of hoping for the best and annoyed to death.
It's actually kinda amusing how people want deep, emotional connection between two high school girls with deep, emotional issues...in 8 months span...(ignoring the time skip here because that's confusing and wouldn't answer enough questions). Every experience in love and romance is different, if anything this is on the far end of the extreme of romance manga (which doesn't give us happy rainbow vanilla ending in 6 chapters).
Not to mention that neither one of them CAN get on the same page with each other, because misunderstandings everywhere, so YEP! Hopping into bed with each other is a perfect way to speed this train wreck along. And you call Citrus's plot ridiculous...still wanna see them finally fuck out their pent up aggression with each other, but can wait until their maturity level gets past the teen angst stage.

I love this rant thank you! I have a feeling that the shippers will start attacking her since apparently bashing non NicoMaki shippers is a thing. I know an artist on tumblr who draws a lot of RinMaki and she gets so much shit for it by the rabid NicoMaki shippers. Hell I hate EliUmi so much mostly cuz I don't like Umi but I don't go to the tag and shit on it.

When I tried introducing my friend to LL she didn't want to get involved because she heard all the crap the NicoMaki shippers do to the non shippers. When will the rabid fans realize that most likely none of the pairings will ever be canon and move on. NicoMaki is not canon nor do they "belong" together. I can't go on fanart of Maki x anyone that isn't Nico without these shippers saying "noo Maki belongs with Nico!!!" "What is this garbage?!" "I want this artist to do NicoMaki" these guys are the reason why I hate NicoMaki now.

I won't hate NicoMaki because of a bunch of loudmouths, but I do feel a bit ashamed for doing so now because of them. In Love Love, I respect any and all ships among the group because any one of them is possible with the slightest detail, the same logic NicoMaki shippers use:

MakiRIn or MakiHano: Maki was friends with them first
KotoNico: design clothes together
Nozomi/anyone: she gropes them all so BOOM ship it, but I favor NozoEli more
Honoka/anyone: because reasons. Really, she interacts with just about everyone, but I favor HonoUmi or HonoBasa (because rival shipping is the best)
UmiMaki: One of them write lyrics, the other plays the piano they have to work together (I can say the same when I ship Koroti with Umi (aside from being childhood friends) or Maki)

Those are just a few examples of how shippable these people are. I enjoy almost all nonNicoMaki art at this point because this fandom has so much of NicoMaki, it's starting to get boring.

Nice to see the NicoMaki fans continue to disgust me. Always looking forward to pairings with Maki that isn't with Nico. Want more of this artist work please.

They're just about as rabid as any other (I hate this word so much but it best describes them) fantard who can't get over the fact people like Nico and Maki shipped with other characters. Seriously why come to a HonoMaki doujin and scream: MAOR NICOMAKI!!!! when this doesn't have a damn thing to do with them? My girlfriend draws KotoMaki and I hope she continues to ship them without a ban of NicoMaki fans raging at her...

The sane shippers we want to see either don't comment because they can deal with Maki and Nico shipped with other people or they do the right thing by simply walking away from it and not look back. If something displeases you, why subject yourself to it and then bitch about how it's not what you want? The artist doesn't have to do what you say, get over it. Go back to the holes you crawled out of and stay there with your NicoMaki shrines until you come to your senses.

Not everyone wants to hear you whine about wanting, needing, there should be, why isn't there more NicoMaki. This damn site has plenty, just click the NicoMaki tag and leave everyone elses ship alone with your complaining. I read like 5 comments on here about how this is doujin is a sin against NicoMaki and walls of text more on non-NicoMaki artwork that doesn't have Nico and Maki paired together or has nothing to do with them! I read a comment that said: this would be better with NicoMaki. Don't you people realize you're disrespecting the artist by saying things like that? You clearly don't if you spout that nonsense thoughtlessly.

If you felt offended or insulted when reading this, good. I hope it makes you think about how ridiculous you are being. The show doesn't revolve around the ship and neither does everyone else, so stop trying to push your NicoMaki agenda on everyone, including artists. Appreciate what you're given and stop asking for more and ruining everyone's good time.

The time it took the other girl to even show up, from opening scene to that point, she had plenty of time to walk off the ledge, be it a minute that passed or even ten. I'm not saying she's really attention seeking, that probably wasn't her intention, but to me, she just wasn't serious about it. Those who are serious wouldn't wait and have a conversation, kinda like in the Titanic movie where Rose wants to jump off the edge of boat but Mr. Smooth Talker changed her mind because she stopped and listened.

Ugh, I'm gonna go straight to hell for saying this, but she wasn't really going to jump. Anyone desperate enough to jump off a roof has one of two things in mind and it's usually: someone pay attention to me and stop me and before you all jump down my throats, might I add that if she really wanted to jump she wouldn't have waited so long and not let that girl distract her. In the end someone did give her attention....and she got laid.
