It feels like the author was just trying way too hard to push a 'same-sex couples can't be happy' sort of conflict. Not a bad idea for conflict, but the least you could do is give some real reasons that normal humans might have for not wanting to date someone of the same gender. Not this love hotel/marriage kind of shit.

Actually though. Redefining this as some sort of "rape". Yes. It is illegal (as a protective thing to not let abusive manipulation of people younger and naive to prevent sexual abuse), and is defined as statutory...but pretty obviously Toono wanted it too. don't get too excited people. there is still enough dry gunpowder left for the more homophobic and conservative elements of the US to blow the US supreme court's decision/non-decision to kingdom come. I'll feel a little more comfortable once the 2 other lower courts of appeal give their rulings. that said, I worry most about the good ol' South fuqqing things up. there is a lower court that handles cases from the Southern states. if that court's decision does not contradict the other lower court decisions that have been passed in favor of same-sex marriage, then it will pretty much be a done deal. of course, someone could always introduces a constitutional amendment just to be an ass.

Prehistorically outdated laws and constitution bullshit are not only affecting same-sex marriage, but lots of other things. Gotta love it!

What do you mean? if an artist can do Mitsu s/he can definitely do AzuYui better I mean really K-on! is a comedy and Mitsu works just fine in romance Yui is stupid? so is Ritsu, Azuza is dishonest? Mio is dishonest as well.
