Theres another story by the same mangaka: Itoshi wo Tome

Starts a bit odd with a sort of yuri-rape moment (I got no idea of why it was there TBH) and a sad backstory, other than that it is just as fun as Love Flag Girls with some fast drama. Also don't let the Het tag in ch6 spook you, the dude turns out to be pretty cool in the end.

Ended... Well, that was somewhat disappointing...

Two and Two by Yoshitomi Akihito - one of the most unique love triangle mangas, specially the ending (I hate love triangles, but I was not able to hate this one)

Sweet Little Devil by Nanzaki Iku - Mature content rather short chapters.

First Love by Suga Atsushi - another short one, romance manga.

Unchanging Days by Aki Eda - Yet another short one, romance manga.

The Real Her by Imamura Youko - Nobody suggested this one? /sad. It's my favorite romance. (on-going series, ending soon)

Roommates by Tamamusi - Romance, has a tiny bit of mature content.

Arcadia ~Flowers of Paradise~ by Mizuno Touko - short supernatural romance, mature content.

I Fell in Love For the First Time by Asagi Ryuu - Smutty mature content, Asagi Ryuu does some pretty good romance with mature content, unfortunately the mature content is... rather umm... There are lots of fluids...

Not sure on how you stand about non-originals, but theres a few doujin series that I recommend (don't need to know the original series, they stand on their own quite well, as is most of the cases):

MariAli by Ichinose - (Touhou Project doujin) gets a bit too angsty maybe, pays off quite well IMHO since it does not last long

We Went On Our Honeymoon by Ayukko - (Madoka doujin) cute short story, just about em going on a honeymoon...

NicoMaki - Dating Life by Nebukuro - (Love Live doujin) Romance, mature content on the last chapter, quite nice.

^ I think that Faystay is not aware that Honoka (present right there) is not the love interest, they just mentioned Kotori in the conversation and Umi gets all flustered (Honoka says she is talking about sweets (and not Kotori(?)), duno how the confusion happened there in japanese).

Only a few got me with the first episodes, mostly going for comedy:

Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai
Denki-gai no Honya-san (Freaking lovin this one!)
Gugure! Kokkuri-san (Its like Barakamon never ended)

Other than that I gave Parasite a shot, can't say it got my attention but I thought the soundtrack was awesome.

Ahaha I think the reason why this one-shot blew up instead of those two is because this is a lot tamer thus there is a wider audience. The sex is only at the end so people can read through, skip the sex and still get the general storyline. With Flower Picking and Oshikko Sensei, people can pretty much tell right away if they'll hate it, so they then stop reading and flush it away from their memory. I've read a lot of fucked up shit and man, Oshikko Sensei definitely is among the top. I still can't believe I read all the chapters of that...I don't think I'll ever get used to urethra play....

I must be quite jaded cuz I've read almost everything here and nothing has made me uncomfortable in any way. For I am a man who dare venture into the dark hellholes of hentai (anime) in a blind and relentless search for yuri, got so used to everything I found that nothing seems to faze me. I've seen it ALL. I have had way too much free time... Yeah, went a bit offtopic

I feel like "In the Rain and Cold" wasn't trying to be as controversial and tried to create a plot (a horribly written one), while the other two were obviously written for the lolicon sex. When it's just porn, people don't care as much, but if there is even a hint of a storyline, people begin to take it "seriously".

It's a bit disappointing coming from this mangaka, since All of These Names, Sweet Nail, and Love Strategy are all some of my favorites and even as porn they provide a touch of romance and a much better atmosphere to em (writing is not bad in any of em, just fine at best).
