Unfortunately, in Japan lesbians can't adopt (because they're single?); they aren't allowed to get artificial insemination either. About the only way a lesbian in Japan could have a kid is if she married (a guy) or had a (het) affair. Aside from how much that would hurt her, it stands a good chance of destroying whatever (lesbian) romance she's managed to acquire at that point.

PS: If any of that has changed, then please correct me.

My two cents: I really love this story just the way it is, and I've found many of the comments and speculations quite insightful. Sure, I would love it if they get together in chapter 69 as someone predicted, and the rest of the story were about their fluttering relationship and perhaps the trials and perils of coming out to their friends and families. But I have no preconceptions; I'm sure I'll love it regardless. That is my opinion, and only my opinion.

And my hope: As Nezchan said, maybe, as we express our incompatible opinions, we can avoid throwing stones from any side? And I hope the people who've stayed away from this forum recently because of the thrown stones will come back soon. And I really hope we can avoid another knock down drag out fight.

And please note: I am not referring to any specific person or event; I'm not taking any side. And I do think things have been kept a little cooler on this most recent chapter.

I might have to give in and just get it done myself soon though. Firefox has been having issues for me which persisted even after a full reinstall of it and which don't seem to be issues with the browser itself either. I've been having sporadic issues with Windows since I first upgraded to Windows 10 anyways though so it was only a matter of time.

And that, my friend, is one of the reasons I'm still running Windows 7 despite the many popup windows telling me to upgrade to windows 10 for free.

Orenji-kun posted:

I've decided to take up Kase-san (http://dynasty-scans.com/series/kase_san) as the sole member of the group Yuri-Bot Scans. I've already scoured the internet for any raws I can get my hands on, but I can only find chapters 11.5 and 12 in Chinese, does anyone have it in Japanese? Also, is anyone working on this themselves or want to assist me? If so, please email me at Orenji.kun0@gmail.com

Yuri Project hasn't actually dropped this yet. They've already got a chapter in the works right here.

It looks like the next chapter (with a new editor filling in for Phyis) is actually in QC now, though I can't tell if anyone is actually checking it. Since Yuri Project is open to anyone to help, maybe you could help get the QC started? They've got specific procedures before the QC is done and I don't know all the details, but you might be able to help.

Edit: Also, talk to them. You might be able to help with future chapters or they might agree to hand it over to you. If they did that, someone involved may already have raws or be planning to get them. I did a full volume myself that was originally posted there (though no one had started working on it yet) and received the raws from them.

[...] Kirara is best.

Heresy. Clearly Fujou is best girl. I still think it'll go threesome/harem ending.

Threesome... foursome... ninesome endings I got no problem with. But harem endings bug me. The Tenshi GXP ending annoyed me no end. Well I guess that anime was obvious from the start so maybe it's my fault for watching it?

"i mean she's a lesbian though, so she probably isn't into serious relationships. Not afraid to break the hearts of men and women"

this line made me really angry >_> i hope we're supposed to not like this girl because everything she said was just ugh

Here's something I overheard once from a coworker, though I don't remember exactly how she said it: "She's not a lesbian, she's too pretty." So all lesbians are unattractive!? So a woman can only be a lesbian if she's ugly or man-ish!?? Translation: A woman only becomes a lesbian if she can't get a guy!!??? (And what about all the supposedly ugly girls out there with boyfriends?)

Now that one really steamed me.

Something I heard somewhere (maybe on TV?): In BDSM play, when cutting you should be careful to never draw blood. They may have said to never break the skin, but I'm don't remember for sure.

Edit: And, of course, a safe word is a must.

I just tried the Google Translate app on my phone just now to take a photo of the comico page, it got the characters perfectly but didn't pick up spaces between words. Once I manually put in spaces though it was able to translate. Might be worth looking into if that's an option for you!

Unless I could run it on my laptop, that's not really an option for me. I was trying to find a way to feed an image to Google Translate, but if it's there, I overlooked it.

Its there, only on mobile app.

Do you know if there's anyway to use it on my laptop? I don't have a smartphone and probably won't be getting one any time soon.

Well, it's really not that important for me. The only time I'd likely want to use it would be if I'm trying to read something in FF before halmoni posts her translation.

Google translate output

Hello Samba
The inevitable physical condition is not good due to the cold
This week has been exciting feeling to hyujae.
Sorry.
Please ask readers understand nimdeul

So still bad, but not total gibberish. One tip is that if you see a bunch of stuff which looks like just romanized Korean syllables (like "meun hongjae dungjjae"), it's good to double check for typos on your end!

Actually, I can't read even a single Korean character, so I used an online Korean OCR (Optical Character Recognition), and fed the output directly into Google translate without even looking at it. I was fully at the (apparently nonexistent) mercy of that OCR program. Thanks for pointing that out.

I would guess that Haruto is very used to Minato going along with any suggestion at all that he has. Did anyone else notice when he suggested they go somewhere after work, that he didn't even wait for a response from her, but immediately proceeded to plans to meet outside the building? And Minato accepted it as thought it were perfectly normal! (Though she bailed and emailed him an excuse.)

I think he's a bit of a cad for assuming she'll always go along with things, but if that's their dynamic, it's hardly surprising that it never occurred to him that she might say no.

I see I have it easy. $1 US buys about the same as ¥100 Japanese, so at the current exchange rate (strong US dollar), it's relatively cheap. And for just a handful of books, I don't have to pay import taxes, though there's a local sales tax (that's much lower than the rates you quote). Of course a strong US dollar means if you're buying from the US, you have to pay more.

Where is Volume 2?

Let's see if I've got this right. The group that is currently scanlating the manga (Lazy Lily) is the same group that fansubbed the anime. The anime covers everything from the very start up to the middle of volume 3. So, to get the story line out more quickly, after volume 1 they jumped forward to the point in volume 3 where it picks up from the anime. From what I understand, I think they plan to go back and do the chapters they skipped once everything else is done.

In summary, if you watch the subtitled anime, you'll see all the story from vol 1, vol 2, and the first part of vol 3.

I live in Argentina and we can't import anything from the usa. :/

Here's a couple of hopelessly naive suggestions. Maybe you could get it imported from Canada instead of the USA? (Would that actually work?) Or maybe a little later, you could buy a used copy from somewhere in South America?

Sorry, I don't know the situation so these were just a couple of thoughts that occurred to me. If there's any chance they could actually be useful, you've probably already thought of them yourself.

At my age, I've fallen in love several times, starting from when I was in the second grade. And I've never in my life had that feet off the ground, heart pounding reaction. Everyone reacts to love differently, and I'm sure there are many others like me. Yuu just needs to quit expecting a cliched reaction, and she just might find love already in her heart.

Let's see, it looks like I'm about the 17th person to say some variation of that. Not that I'm actually keeping count.

Seven Seas licensed Bloom Into You

Seven Seas will publish Bloom Into You for the first time in print in North America as single volume editions. Each book will contain at least two full-color illustrations. The first volume will be released on January 3, 2017 for $12.99 USA / $14.99 CAN.

Jin really has a problem with faces, I cant till if this is or is not meant to be related to my beloved.

I disagree.

That being said I don't think she a particularly good artist though, she just has style that makes up for it. She is good enough for manga, but only just.

And I disagree with that as well.

I agree with your disagreement.

I agree with Nezchan disagreeing with... um, agreeing with.. um...
Whatever, I love Jin's art and storytelling both. And I don't usually have a lot of trouble telling her characters apart.

I very much enjoy age gap romances, but this one was just pedophilia and a woman taking advantage of a girl who is just sleeping with her to make sure she stays and married her father. This is rather terrible.

It seems like there are things going on that make it not as bad as you'd think, but...

I got the definite impression the mum got together with that guy just to get at his daughter. And is it really possible that she thought she wouldn't be noticed doing that right next to her? (Not that it'd make it right if she really did believe that.) So even though that girl decided she liked it and wants to continue, I have to agree, that woman really did set out to do something terrible.

Note: I'm not saying that the story was terrible.

When Shio was having that blurred memory and seemed to pass out, for some reason I got the feeling that maybe it was Shio who created the grim contents of that room. Or at least provided the "raw material" for Sato to work with. Ah, it's probably just me.

Yeah, when you're in kana input your keypresses don't directly register to the program - in fact nothing registers as pressed until you confirm the conversion. So keyboard shortcuts tend to not work.

As for how you keep ending up in it, the windows shortcut to change IME is alt+shift, both of which are very common in photoshop shortcuts.

alt+shift switches me between English and Japanese, but the Japanese IME starts in alphanumeric (at least on my computer), so I must also have accidentally hit shift+shift lock (that's easy to do too) to switch to hirogana input. As an aside, having shift lock activated does strange things to the cursor with some tool tips in Photoshop too, It took me some time and a bit of aggravation before I figured that out.

It actually can affect keyboard shortcuts, as well, with your keypresses appearing in a box in the top left instead of registering directly until you switch back to direct alphabet input.

Okay, I just started it up and tried experimenting. I had to go through a text layer to get the keyboard entering in hirogana, but once I got it set right, it did just as you say, so you nailed it. Thanks, I didn't know it could do that. This just might also explain a strange window I noticed once collecting keystroke when I was playing a game, though that game was still getting the keystrokes. And since the game was constantly redrawing the screen, the window kept disappearing.

When it's not in Microsoft IME, or it's in alphanumeric, it doesn't do that so I wouldn't notice it. And of course I notice when in hirogana in a text layer since it sort of underlines it. So it would only happen if I somehow got it into hirogana and then went on to edit other things. And since I wasn't doing text at that point, and I use auto hide on the task bar, I simply didn't notice it was in the Japanese keyboard.

I'd recommend having a look at the last two pages of this though. It lists what keyboard shortcuts do what in CS2 and the last two pages list them in order of shortcut key so you could have a look at things you commonly use and see if you can find it.

Thanks. that looks pretty useful.

moguTL

Do you perhaps have multiple keyboard IMEs and are accidentally switching to one that does not directly input the alphabet (such as, perhaps, Japanese kana conversion)?

I have somehow managed to accidentally switch to the Japanese keyboard IME several times, but that only affects it when I'm typing in a text layer, so that's not it. But you're right it might be something external to the program that I somehow activated. Oh well, I haven't hit it for a while, and when I do hit it, I know I can fix it by saving, then exiting and restarting the program, so it's just an annoyance, not a problem.

If you're using Photoshop you can click with the paintbrush then shift+click in another to draw a straight line between the two points in case you didn't know. As you said different methods will work best for different people but with higher resolution raws I personally find it a lot easier to use that method over the line tool most of the time. Though with lower resolution scans I often just use the line tool.

I don't remember hearing of that feature before, though I might have seen it here someplace; it might be useful. I'm mostly self taught on Photoshop, learning features from the help files, by experimenting, and sometimes by random chance, so I appreciate it. I'm sure there are many other useful features I don't know about.

There's something in Photoshop that I've sometimes accidentally started, so that when I try to use a keyboard shortcut to a tool tip, instead it starts typing into a tiny window in the upper left corner. Everything else works normally. I've no idea how I get into that or what it is, and the only way I know to get out of it is to restart the program; it's really annoying. I don't suppose you have any idea what that is or how to stop it do you? Just thought I'd ask. I'm running the very old version CS2.
