I got Franka and Leizi via the pity on one banner each. I also got Beehunter. How good is Leizi?

Leizi is an aoe caster so not that good honestly. Her skill is really interesting, but there's never really a need for aoe casters, especially when Eyja and Ifrit are just so much better than every other caster. You can still use her if you want, but in terms of whether you'll ever need her for stages, it's gonna be a 'never' for an answer.

I got Beeswax from my pity, which is fine with me. She's more interesting to me gameplay wise since she's essentially a tank you can deploy on ranged tiles.

I'm just glad we finally got the rerun since I don't want to miss any furniture sets/skins/welfare operators. Now that I've gotten Grani, I officially have every welfare in the game so far. The only thing I'm missing now is Hibiscus's skin, which I hope they rerun eventually.

I just saw the official Zhongli show off https://forums.mihoyo.com/genshin/article/91166 his animations are great, but he seems very situational

I wouldn't say he's situational at all. People are saying he's a support character but based on his damage multipliers and how spammable his burst is, he looks like he can be a really reliable dps. I'd say it'll be similar to how Ningguang is played since she's also an amazing dps despite being geo herself. He has the highest HP of everyone, he gives shields, and he can petrify enemies. His attack speed as a spear user also increases his dps so in all it looks like he's meant to stay in the field for a long time while the rest of the team can support him.

Yep, I already finished the event yesterday. Also Ningguang is amazing, I've been using her as my main carry since I got her and she's basically made everything 10x easier. The main thing is, I'm building her with Prototype Malice so she doubles as DPS AND support, so she also generates energy and heals in addition to dealing lots of burst damage.

They're a popular yuri ship in Arknights tho I am surprised to find out they're not the most popular.

Speaking of that, someone made a lore post about Guizhong, someone who Rex Lapis was best friends with back in the day before she died. She's the Goddess of Dust that was alluded to in Treasure Lost, Treasure Found and I'll let you read the post instead of repeating things here. I'm 95% positive that the reason Rex Lapis likes perfume for older women is cause it reminds him of Guizhong but I might be wrong.

You should also check out that person's theory/lore posts on Xiao and Venti as well. The Xiao one really squeezed my heart in its hands and spit in my face though, like damn I want Xiao 10x more after reading through it.

Also, wanna bet Ganyu and that weirdo who wears medicine ingredients around his neckpharmacy guy with his snek will be made playable characters somewhere down the road?

Ganyu is confirmed to be one of the two rate ups for patch 1.2 through the leaks. Her and Albedo, a Geo sword user, will be coming. Ganyu herself is a cryo archer with somewhat similar skills to Amber. Like she also has a taunt and a sword rain but it looks like her sword rain is a continuous effect and she has an extra charge to her charged attack that does bonus damage.

Managed risk 21 with this comp. Surprisingly was able to do both the risk 3 tags for wraiths and Crownslayer. I think I would've managed risk 23 if my Bagpipe was pot5 for the risk 3 DP tag, but I'm not a whale so yeah no.

Gacha gave me the cat loli and a terrible looking weapon (-10% focus shot dmg wtf?).

You don't mean Rust do you cause that bow is actually really good lol. It's especially good for Fischl and Childe cause it makes them really good DPS units with their normal attacks.

As for the mini event, it's whatever. Kinda annoying to check it every 10-20 minutes but it doesn't take long to do so it's fine.

^ It's a matter of timing and using the right operator at the right time. It took me a few tries too and I was using the basic comp everyone uses with: Bagpipe, Siege, Silverash, Saria, Angelina, Eyjafyalla, and Ptilopsis. The timing with Ange and Eyja's skills are really important, and Saria's S3 needed to be timed right for me cause her S3 is only at lv7. I also needed to redirect aggro away from Eyja on the right using Bagpipe since Ptilopsis doesn't reach all the way.

Well, I did my risk 18 clear. Honestly not in the mood for CC but I gotta get them medals. I'm not gonna try doing any higher than the minimum requirement for all of the rewards so I'll just be sticking to risk 8 dailies and risk 18 permamap, at least until I M3 Saria's 3rd skill. I might try and do higher risks in week 2, but I'm not gonna tryhard it much.

I just got to AR45 earlier and I'm starting to see the pain of artifact farming. I think I'm gonna put that off some more and just level Tartaglia and his talents instead of worrying about other stuff. I need Noblesse Oblige for the build I want for him so it's gonna take a bit for me to get him up to speed with Razor. I'm also starting to see why everyone complains about resin so much since I didn't really care about it that much until right now.

They added a new ore that needs resin specifically to craft enhancement ores so now there's a new resin sink while keeping the resin generation at the same rate as it's always been. Like okay cool, just keep adding new resin uses but not actually give us more resin to use.

I think I did 70 rolls in total so yeah, my luck is pretty mediocre but at least I got everyone I wanted + I still have 20 rolls saved for the next banner.

I leveled Tartaglia up to 70 and his weapon to 80, and I've been playing with him for a while now. He's pretty good, though I think I need to be comboing him with Xiangliang since Bennett's skill isn't as good for proccing vaporize. Tartaglia's melee stance turns all of his attacks into hydro damage, so I need a continuous source of elemental reactions for him.

I also finished all the new quests they added and while the main story quest looked cool, I wish it was longer. The pacing of the story felt too fast for what was happening. Gonna really need them to expand more on the characters they briefly introduced in the third act, hopefully through their story quests.

Well I did my rolls for Ningguang and Beidou and did indeed, end up getting Tartaglia while I was at it. I was gonna just do rolls for 1 of each, but decided to try for at least 1 constellation for each of the two, which I did end up doing. Now I'm at 30 rolls until the hard pity for the next banner. Actually pretty satisfying to finally be able to use my rolls I've been saving up.

Now I have to just... spend 5 years farming exp and Mora to level up Tartaglia and Ningguang...

This is way too short to properly convey what I think the author is trying to convey here. Tackling issues of depression and suicide with only like, 6 pages of a one-shot just isn't gonna cut it.

Honestly... I thought Cyno was a girl at first too and was gonna save up but I realized he's actually a dude. I'll still pull for him though cause I like spear users a lot. Kinda sad that Xiangling's design isn't one I'm particularly into, so I don't care much for her even though she's a spear user. I hope they release a female spear user who is aesthetically similar to Beidou in the future cause at this point I've only been interested in the men in this game. I do also like Jean, but her kit is kinda boring to play.

They actually aren't illegal. 1.6% is the correct rate when keeping in mind what the calculations say so they're not lying about it in their details. They just didn't elaborate further about the soft caps that will increase chances after certain rolls before the 90 hard pity. Now that is scummy to do, but technically not illegal since they didn't lie about any of their rates.

Meh. I gave up trying to use those base skills. Every time I tried to cheat the system, I was getting different clue. I think operator with increased chance gave me the clue they increase chance for only like once. If it's never working, why bother.

Yeah, you're gonna also need someone to increase the chance of operators getting the clues they are biased for in the control center if you want better chances at that. I usually only do those if I've been missing the clue for a few days but I put Aak in the control center and then whatever operator with the clue I need in the reception center.

The best part is that there's a special cutscene if you let him through the blue box. Perhaps he might be playable in the future??? Also the reveal that he's actually a bird. It wasn't obvious but I guess the whole singing thing was a big hint.

Actually highly doubt he'll be playable since they made it a possibility that he's dead in the main story. Also most people hate his guts compared to W and Mudrock, and he's done way too much harm to Rhodes and other operators who are aligned with Rhodes (Ursus students) so I really don't think they'll let him be recruitable.

Texas and Siege >>>>>>> but Siege first cause she's just a beast. Texas's one drawback is how squishy she is, but she's not supposed to be your dps anyways so it's fine. Texas over Zima for me cause Texas's S2 is essentially a reliable arts dealing stun + you get DP out of it.

Liskarm is better cause she's just more reliable in general while Croissant isn't that good in regular comps.

Istina is good in general but Zima doesn't do anything with her. Zima's synergies are with other vanguards, so if you decide to make a vanguardknights comp with her, than she's valuable in that.

The new character Scaramouche (sp?) kind of looks a bit feminine to me. Does that means that Scaramouche is really a girl?

Naw, that's a dude. He's definitely more feminine than the other guys in Genshin, but that's definitely a guy. Also looks like he's a catalyst user, so he'll be our first male catalyst.

So all future events are going to look like that? Because I love it. Sure it was nice before, 6-8 stages to beat + challenges, but after a while it kinda felt lacking so now having so many different ones to beat is really fun. Also new mechanic really makes it a challenge to figure out all the maps. Projekt Red already helped me beat EX-5 and challenge. Really happy I finally got her.

Naw, that's just how it is for "full" events. They had that for I think the Grani event, the summer event, and Code of Brawl. It just depends on what kind of event it will be.

You can try building Fischl since she's just a great DPS and with her ranged attacks she can reach a lot of enemies including the hawks.

For me, I've been farming Oceanid and the geo cube boss for Zhongli and for Childe in case I get him. I've just been using Venti to deal with the hawks since his E deals pretty good damage. I pretty much can't hit them with anyone else so yeah, you just need to have a ranged unit to deal with the hawks or you're screwed.

Also for the Spiral Abyss, you just need two dps units and then the rest are direct counters to whatever is on the floor. You can check and see what enemies will be there by clicking on the floors and then plan accordingly. Basically just bring someone of an element that can break the shields of the Fatui bosses and Abyss Mages. I used Jean and Razor as my dps units and cleared up to floor 8, haven't tried any further floors yet cause I'm still building people and I don't have my second dps yet. It all depends on who I get between Childe and Zhongli since Xiao isn't coming until February probably.

^ Speaking of the pity, there's actually a soft cap at 75 rolls where if you start doing single rolls, you're more likely to get the 5 star starting from the 75th roll on.

^ Except there's already precedent that isekai characters exist in the form of the MC and their twin being world hoppers and the strong evidence that Klee's mom is probably an isekai character from another world too. She specifically was attributed to teaching Barbara what idols were and she seems connected enough with various important characters that makes it highly possible she also had contact with Xinyan.
