She got into fate/go at the beginning of the year and within a few days (2) already began drawing stuff.

Finally got around to watching Harmony by Project Itoh. Really interesting movie that went in a direction I wasn't quite expecting by the end. Also has legitimate yuri.

The pointlessly edgy and soap operatic plot

Honestly, this just makes it hilarious for me. Since it's so apparent that it's trying so hard to be so dramatic with the plot in the easiest and most basic way it could, I can't take it seriously at all. I can't wait to see what they'll think of next.

Which manga plan is that? I mean the art style ia of Jin.but which doujin?

It's not a doujin, just two images with a self-contained story.

Just finished watching Michiko to Hatchin. It has a Cowboy Bebop x Cidade de deus feel to it that is nothing if not enjoyable. Add yuri subtext to the mix and you've got yourself a great, really underrated anime. My only gripe is that I had to keep my yuri goggles on for the ending and there's not a single damn doujin out there T.T

Only thing I remember from that show is the feeling I and other people had that they should do a second season where they look for that deadbeat dad again but instead it's to beat him up this time. He was just as bad as I expected him to be. Also for some reason Michiko didn't seem like she aged at all after that time-skip.

Since I'm currently listening to it while grinding away at this video game, might as well share my universal background music for when I grind in video games:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edVx1lZSnoI

Ever since I heard this on Persona 3 FES on the PS2, I've sort of always come back to it any time I grind in other video games or do monotonous stuff irl. It works because it's relaxing enough that I can just calmly waste away my time while also being upbeat and catchy enough to not make me fall asleep.

So that fashion trend made it here too. I guess one of the advantages of following Japanese twitter accounts is that you get bombarded with whatever's trending.

Although, dynasty being dynasty it's is the tamest forum I've ever encountered.
It's all warm and fuzzy just like the content on the site.

I swear it must have something to do with yuri, since even the yuri games Steam curation group has one of the tamest forums on Steam too.

I'm pretty sure no one hates Nez. At best there's like one person who needs to watch out for her because they get justifiably slapped with bans too many times, but that's it. Also diverse discourse itself isn't something the mod needs to restrain anyways in this specific forum, so there's nothing that goes against her job here. It's just when people go overboard that I think intervention happens.

Might as well tag this as canon because this does happen in-game.

Overall, the more you play visual novels from both the west and the east the more you'll be able to tell the pretty clear differences between the two. I think one of the most consistent differences I've noticed is that no matter how good the localization team is, you can easily still tell when one is originally in English or when it's been translated. Unsurprisingly, translated Japanese script just doesn't flow as well as it could have if the script or dialogue was originally written in English.

The tone and use of words from one character are sometime just so conficted against her background and design. The main character for example who potrayed to be totally meek and sheltered, can tell people to shut up, or being playful with her teasing out of the blue. She also can active at time and passive at others. Made her (and other characters in the game) feel very inconsistent

I also have a bit problem with the game try to apply some (Japanese) manga and anme trope and tone while set in a sorta-Western~ish setting. Make me feel like reading a manga at time, and a youth Western novel at another

Love Ribbons was fairly standard for OELVNs (Original English Language Visual Novel) of this price range. Pacing got iffy near the end. The lack of the clear cut archetype is always welcome, since they just show different sides of a character and consequently make them a bit more realistic; never felt the inconsistency any time I encounter these kinds of characters which I note are expectedly more prominent in OELVNs.

Same goes for that last statement - that's also prominent in OELVNs, especially if you've played games along the lines of Starlight Vega or those from lemmasoft forums or the Yuri Game Jam.

I definitely recommend it for its price range. Toss it into the pile of the good OELVNs that don't have problematic content unlike 'Seduce Me 2' and 'Rising Angels: Hope'. At the very least, it's much better than the last project Razz was involved in: 'Catch Canvas'.

Doesn't particularly specify yuri manga, so I would say Negima since that's one of the oldest and longest stuff I read until the end without it leaving a bad taste in my mouth afterwards. Ending was incredibly iffy, but it's alright since we get a not-really-ambiguous marriage between the two female characters who were obviously in love from the start. Speaking of which, this is the year (2017) that they get married.

Just read about the "controversial" het scenes in 'LadyKiller in a bind'.

No doubt the fans were mad about it. Like really mad. I mean i have stumbled across many hentai with lesbian turned straight BS. But the reading the het scenes in this game even made me surprised. It was quite degrading and extremely immoral and offending, esp. if you are a lesbian. I guess i will rather stick to japanese novels from now on.

Anyways, Resident Evil 7 reviews are out and surprisingly it really quite good score. Now i'm interested in this game.

...
tfw the game was made by Christine Love, who is afaik, a lesbian. Said this myself ages ago when the game first came out but the general theme of the game is about sex, not unlike erotica; I feel like it's not quite right to compare it to actual porn/hentai. You also shouldn't just generalize OELVNs and stick to japanese localized works especially since OELVN's tend to be more diverse in their settings and characters.

Oh also Shadowverse is gay as hell.

I saw it get discussed in the yuri games group on steam, but it ended up not getting listed for whatever yuri content it may have.Do note that the group also lists down those with subtext, so it probably doesn't have enough even then...?

Seeing Takemiya Jin actually creating short Fate/GO yuri doujin is still surreal to me. It's like two separate things I took an interest in collided. Of course, Fate/GO always had yuri in spades, it's just no one as notable as Takemiya Jin paid any attention to it. I don't play Fate/GO anymore because it's literally gatcha hell and stressed me (and my wallet) out, but seeing this is still nice.

Now I'm just wondering when the comments will reach the breaking point where the same kind of complaints just become inconsequential and nobody fusses about it anymore. People voice out what they dislike, other people disagree and say why they like it, it stop there and we don't get pages of the same kind of discussion.

I personally think it's pretty neat though that some still get the bright eyed hope that Morinaga Milk will break out of the usual pattern with her series; it's nice to be hopeful no matter how unlikely it is. The vitriol is not so neat.

Also if someone has got the multiple endings of it. Can you help me to find guide for it?

You'd most likely get more answers from the yuri games steam group - Hella Yuri. As far as I can remember, the only thing about LadyKiller in a Bind that was discussed over here was that "controversy" with the het scenes in-game. If that somehow troubles you, rest assured that one of them was patched out fairly recently.

Are you kidding me? That preview was crazy, I love it. This rather scared looking and petite girl suddenly turns into literally Broly. Who, based on looks alone, seems like they could break a normal saiyan in half.

That. Is. Amazing. If someone were to say that would happen even a week ago I would think they were reading too much fanfiction.

Meeting Room:

A: "I think it's about time we finally introduce a female Saiyan. Here are all the character designs we've accumulated over the years trying to create the perfect one to introduce into the series."

B: "Hmm...we need to show that she's incredibly powerful in the most obvious way possible while also being something familiar to the viewers."

C in the corner fiddling with their pen: "Heh, so what, something like Broly?"

All heads turn to C

Finally had time and finished Fate/Extella yesterday. Considering this is from the person who turned a mobile mobage game into a full-fledged visual novel, I'm not surprised that this game has a fairly substantial amount of text too. the story is great, and for those looking for yuri they would find it in the first 5 minutes at most depending on how fast you read. From then on it doesn't stop with the romantic interactions with the three heroines in-game. This game also fully establishes/re-establishes that Sakura Tange and Chiwa Saito are amazing voice actresses.

Happy (Yuri) End...GET! (spoilers):

Not saying a bad things, just something that is holding it back.

...Holding it back from what? All of the other Fate series just add to the overall lore since they all share the same history to take heroic spirits from anyways. It's not like the writer is preoccupied with the other series since they're all written by different writers each. There's also only one "sequel" to the original Fate/Stay Night: Fate/Hollow Ataraxia, which follows none of the routes. Lastly, there are no more stories that can be told with the mainline series.

Wait Saber is a lez in Fate games?!

Wasn't she like straight in anime?

...Um. Right then.

First of all, Saber is a class, so there're multiple Sabers.

Second, Artoria Pendragon (saber in the anime) is canonically bisexual.

Third, the saber I'm talking about is Nero Claudius (who is also bisexual). I already posted a screenshot of her in a post a while back in this thread. It's fairly recent. She looks exactly like Artoria. Here's the link:

A-anyways, moving on...

Pre-loaded Extella a few days ago, so I get to play it as soon as it got released. Already has a lot of yuri in the first few interactions thanks to Saber. That whole spiel about it being a standalone game is nonsense though. It seems to like inserting references from the previous games here, so there's nothing standalone about this.

Edit: Also, because this game takes place at the end of the Holy Grail War and Nero and Hakuno (FeMC) are already close, Nero is more affectionate now than she ever has been from the start.

Seriously, the levels of flirting here is unreal; mostly because of Hakuno herself though, which is the most surprising part. In the previous games she usually just takes all the flirting from all the women around her in stride, and now she's much more reactive to them. Even Nero is taken aback.

For some reason Tamamo uses plural pronouns now to refer to herself though. The game also reuses the soundtrack from CCC, which is completely fine by me since it was pretty good.

Kindred Spirits on the Rooftop is all quality.

But i don't feel as much others.

Have you ever played 'Kiss for Petals'? It's far better than Kindred so far.

I don't think there're many people who haven't heard of Sono Hanabira at this point. I'd have to respectfully disagree though on that last statement. While Sono Hanabira isn't bad, kindreds is just better imo because of its characters and the dynamic of each relationship in-game (not just romantic). Especially the characters though. I remember when I played the New Generation Sono Hanabira game (The one with three couples released last year), I still thought that Kindreds had more grounded characters and less cliche dialogue than this one. Plus, every so often some Kindreds background music will just pop into my head and get stuck there, especially the one with the humming. They must have done something right with the music for that to happen.

Only issue I had with it is that the presence of choices made me think there were some form of routes in the game, so that seemed misleading. Also putting my bias in I feel like Ano was greatly underutilized and what kind of injustice was that.
