We're interested in working on it, one of the series we're tossing around. If anyone is interested in assisting please let us know. An extra hand could certainly be a deciding factor.

I read through the first volume yesterday, and it's a bit brutal. Aside from a lot of language-based humour (which I haven't seen handled too well in the past) Kuzushiro's got a pretty extensive vocabulary and an aversion to furigana. On the other hand, I'd love to see this picked up again, even if only so that we could eventually put out the "Inori-san and Souma-san" spin off-that ran in this month's Yurihime, so depending on what sort of release schedule you were thinking of I might be able to help out.

Actually, no—I usually only get tanks. But we were having trouble getting raws for Chouchou Nannan, so I finally broke down and just ordered November's YH (and I'll pick up January's on Tuesday, I guess), and it arrived yesterday.

I switched it in this case, and I think that's a good thing to do in any future cases.

Alright, if it comes up again (and it almost will) I'll go ahead and swap the names for anybody magazine/tank publications.

On second thought, it doesn't need the doujin tag, that would get messy fast. The anthology came out in September (my concept of time is way off), and was published by Ichijinsha/YH, so I went ahead and made the page for it (and added that chapter).

And a beautiful cover, too. It looks like Fuyu no Hanashi was also included in that anthology, so I went ahead and added that. I also added a list of the missing chapters to the description, mostly in case anyone uploading a doujinshi wants to see if it was also included.

Edit: Also went ahead and added an anthology page for Game.

It's easy enough to just add the YH tag. What about the name, though? I know there's been a sort of "let's not worry too much about it" policy, but it might make sense to switch from circle names to artist names once they start publishing somewhere official.

Keeping the doujin moniker for now makes sense, but what about when it gets published? Is Yuri-Hime publishing the tank? We haven't haven't really been doujin-tagging doujin works reprinted by an official label...

I went ahead and made Prequel and Sequel tags for now, as I said I would months ago (before a lot of rl stuff happened). I figure at the very least, it will give people a heads-up if they're reading a sequel, and make eventual proper "sequel-ing" easier.

Yeah, for some reason I thought I'd seen other things with a Sequel tag, and so I went to apply that to Rin Rin when it was uploaded but ... there was nothing there. So obviously I'm just crazy.

Welp, I was wrong. Currently it's not possible to have multiple chapters pointing to a single thread (and it's not exactly a priority to be updated, sadly).
So, I think we'll stick with the current setup, even if it isn't perfect. It seems like it would be best to use the current series cover for the anthology, and use something else for the series page (so things don't get too confusing). Thoughts?

By the way, was there some way of having KiLa KiLa and Rin Rin point to each other as chapter and sequel? It's exactly not urgent, given that they bookend the same anthology, but...

I don't know that this is terrible accurate. As far as I know, Bash! was only ever published as doujinshi, rather than in collected volumes, and there are considerably more than 2 of those.

Is there anyone here that's already looked into this and could confirm whether it was ever actually completed, and how many chapters is runs? From what I understand, the series consists of:

I'm not 100% sure about it, I'll ask for opinions. The only problem with that would be pointing each chapter to the series original forum page, but I doubt that would be much of a problem.

Speaking of things that are probably more complicated than I think they are, what about the table contents and title page, etc.—do those get moved to the beginning of chapter 1, or do they get left as is?

With chapter 3 of Takemiya Jin's Game recently uploaded, the series has been marked as complete. It's still ongoing though, since there's four more chapters, just of a different story.

We were under the impression the series ought to be marked complete, as it's now finished. The anthology page - which has not yet been created for reasons - ought to be marked ongoing, and the series/other story will both be present there.

Is that right, or are we missing something? Does everything fall under the umbrella of one series, rather than the anthology moniker...? Thanks for your diligence, as always!

The Game volume is seven chapters, but the last four are from my Beloved. We'll be doing those eventually, but in the meantime we passed on all the relevant tank scans to Kawaii so that they could include the cover, afterword, etc., in their release.

Hm. Kinda wish chapter 3 didn't end that way - it was totally like "Oh, I'm not sure where this is going!" Now it's obvious, though whether that's a means to an end or something else entirely, who knows.

Well, this was originally just a stand-alone trilogy, which is why it feels like this chapter ends with a certain level of finality. The next bit is linked trilogy, and the final four tie the different bits together.

In other note, can someone explain why it's LTR and not RTL?

No, and this totally threw us for a loop as well, because it also meant that the page order was screwed up (it starts on the left hand side of two page spreads). My assumption is that these were originally put together for some other format (I'm assuming Shuninta worked on these for GLF) which mandated LTR, but that's really I've got.

"Blame" is the wrong way to think about this. These publications are/were entirely targeted at a domestic audience, and English translations won't have a meaningful impact on that.

On the other hand, these are commercial publications, and their decisions are based on sales figures. Publications are folded if they don't sell well enough; conversely, if one genre sells better, then you'll see a proliferation of publications following that genre. The common refrain to the "scanlators are to blame" argument is to say that, "If companies wanted to sell more yuri to English speakers, they should publish in English," but this is actually beside the point—I'm not talking about what companies want, I'm talking about what you as a reader want. Specifically, if you want to see more yuri being published, the solution is to buy more yuri. If you don't, well, nobody's forcing you, but you can't really complain then when publications are folded.

It's good to hear. I know it has been out with 2 volumes. Volume 2 was out last year, right? And she has alot of series and one-shot going on right now (to me) so I just wonder if Takamiya sensei will continue this series. I love this the most of all her works.

This series was finished in June. The third and final tank is coming out in December (on Christmas Day, no less), and that will have the final five chapters plus the Rakuen web extras.

I suppose while I'm at it, I should encourage everyone to buy those tanks, perhaps from Amazon or Honto, so that Hakusensha will continue publishing series like this and Collectors in Rakuen.
