Yeah, this mangaka is really doing something that's way out of his element and, let's be honest, that rarely ever ends well lol. I'm not loving it based off the first chapter alone (although that might just be because I like couples, so orgy's, especially those involving pseudorapes really, REALLY piss me off) and if it keeps on with this, i'll probably just drop it. And I'll be honest, it takes A LOT for me to drop a yuri series.

Have guys actually read his/her works? He did pseudo-rape before, he did start off with sex right at the very start, it's not out of his element at all. The only new elements are the orgy and the S&M, and that's fine too. Not every author wants to write the same story a billion times, some likes to write NEW things.

And it WASN'T rape, she wasn't jumped on the minute she came in, she had plenty of chances to back off. Just because the Mira didn't detailed her every thoughts this time, everyone assumes it was rape.

It's something new. Not his usual pre-determined, carefree happy ending, without any real problem, but a bit grimmer, bit darker and bit more dramatic story. And it'll be just as good, if not better.

If you can't take darker manga, don't read it, your loss, but be a man and don't try to blame it on the author.

Few things in response
-I never said Mira had never done pseudorape before. When did I EVER say that? All I said was that it pisses me off.
-And nobody even was about to complain about starting off with sex. Everybody knows that this author is primarily a hentai artist. My issue was with the orgy itself.
-And I never even said the series was bad. All I said was that I didn't really like the first chapter and that an author's first attempt at trying new things USUALLY ends in flames. I'm not guaranteeing this one will, I'm saying i won't be surprised if it does. Hell, even the guy I was replying to said, "I have a feeling..." Nobody has made any final judgements. These are just first impressions.
-And I know it wasn't exactly rape, hence why I put "pseudorape" because, the fact of the matter is, she did not enter the orgy willingly. She STAYED in it willingly and that's where the difference lies.
-And when did I blame the author for anything? I literally even said that if I don't like it, then I won't read it. Why are you phrasing it as if I swore to go on some vendetta on this author for changing his style and making something I MIGHT not like?

I've only seen a few disjointed pages of ch2 but here's what it was:

Moe seemed to be getting 'tutored' on becoming a domme herself, a fair few scenes with her topping various different girls. These included her spiky haired friend (I think it was her, anyway), Ayane (the girl that tells her not to go to the orgy) and more. Also one sex scene with her and Ran alone together but Ran is crying (more than the usual hentai-scene crying) and Moe looks kind of sad herself. And another orgy except Moe is the domme and Ran is one of the many subs.

Again, pages were disjointed so some of this could be missing context :p

.....gfdi...the more I hear about this series the more I don't want to risk reading it...I can't fucking believe Ayane get's dragged into it tho. That pisses me off.

Am I the only one slightly bothered by the developments?

Is great that Aoi is starting to fall for Nao but Nao's tactics seem to me equally backhandaded and manipulative as Chiihiro's. At some point it even seems that Nao is acting like this not out of affection for Aoi but just to stick it to Chihiro.

TL;DR is starting to feel like Chihiro and Nao are equally manipulative and two faced.

Gotta agree with you there. Seeing how this is a Takemiya Jin manga though, I feel like we'll end up with a bittersweet ending where neither Nao or Chihiro 'wins'.

What are you guys talking about? Nao has gone OUT OF HER WAY to make sure Chihiro witnesses nothing. I feel like, for some reason, she's actually taking Chihiro's feelings into consideration with everything she does. Just think about it. She only just found out about Chihiro's feelings. And what has Nao done since then? Invite Aoi to help her with the play when nobody was around. And comfort Aoi when she was scared BUT ONLY AFTER purposely taking her to a secluded place so nobody saw. I don't see how any of that is "sticking it to Chihiro."
Also, what the hell has she even done that was so manipulative? Yeah, she asked Aoi to help her with the play, for no reason other than to be with her but guess what? SHE LIKES HER. Typically when you like somebody YOU WANT TO SPEND TIME WITH THEM. And when she kissed the Aoi "corpse" I feel like that was more impulse and while I usually hate it when a character does something like that I'll let it slide since I feel like Nao was just as surprised she did it herself. And the scene that Chihiro saw, what exactly was wrong with that? All she did was try to comfort Aoi when she was scared. Again, that's a thing you do when you like somebody. There were pretty clearly no ulterior motives there. Everything else has just been Nao being aggressive and (while I wish she wouldn't be SO aggressive) almost everytime she's done so it was her trying to comfort Aoi. The first two or three kisses were Nao trying to get Aoi to stop crying, remember?
Not to mention, Chihiro totally deserves to be miserable. She was purposely using Aoi's feelings for the ONLY REASON of tormenting her so she could see her miserable face. Really? You're honestly putting Nao and Chihiro on the same level? I don't see how you possibly could.
The biggest different between Nao and Chihiro is that, while they both love Aoi, Nao feels this love and wants Aoi to be happy and feel good meanwhile Chihiro feels the love and thinks Aoi is cuter when she's miserable so she psychologically torments her...No, yeah, you guys are right these two people are equally scummy [END SARCASM].

Hey, anybody else remember that series Gurenki? Whatever happened to it? And no I'm not asking when the next release is because it's been almost 2000 days since the last update so I think it's safe to say theres nobody working on it lol.
Back to my point. Mangaupdates says that Gurenki is on hiatus, but has it REALLY been on hiatus for 2000 days? Or was it just cancelled? Or, hell, if you want to deliver great news did it actually continue and nobody just ever updated mangaupdates since there were no translators for it or something? I quite enjoyed that series so I'd really like to learn what it's fate was. Any information or news on it would be much appreciated.

sigh Despite the fact that this mangaka sucks at drawing anything besides breasts (which he's actually REALLY good at), I really liked their work because in every single thing he/she does there was always just two people who loved each other, getting together. No love triangles, just love and faithfulness. But then he/she goes and makes this series that starts RIGHT THE FUCK OFF with an orgy, which frankly may as well just be called a rape, because I don't care what anybody says she did not enter it willingly. sigh I'm pretty bummed about this. Normally I'd just be like "well that sucks" and take comfort in the fact that it's obviously gonna end with the MC with that other senpai that warned her not to go, but I'm having a really shitty week so all sad feelings are amplified lol.

WAO! I just saw the first episode of the anime. THEY COMPLETELY SLAUGHTERED THE MANGAS STORY. NOTHING EVEN RESEMBLING IT REMAINS. So if you go to see the anime, don't go cuz you liked the manga, that's for sure. I fucking hate it when they promise to animate something and then completely and utterly ignore the thing they based it off of! WTF is up with that!?!?!

this series is starting to get kinda stupid...Why the fuck do these girls even bother hanging out with Remi? She's literally trying to sabotage their relationship. And she's kind of a horrible person. I really just don't get it.

OMG Finally, a strike witches series that actually deserves the yuri tag lol.

The F is so cliche at the end of the chapter, so more drama comin' up ;; and I can sense it. Also, when Yuzu rejected Mei aww, it was like a hard brick slap onto your face xD. Yuzu being an airhead totally waste Mei's effort by being direct to her. Now, she's like "I don't know, what's happened, why Mei's stop interacting with me and sh!t?" xD simply to say Mei is offended. After she's already set her heart and offer herself to Yuzu, the latter just rejects her for the second time I think?
Sara's debut in this chapter and it foreshadows her role as a catalyst, it's like Matsuri's back then. I have my own opinion about this chapter, and I feel like that this manga is approaching to its end? Probably because of Sara's appearance this will awaken Yuzu's desire for Mei eventually? Matsuri's appearance has made Mei more honest with her feelings. Will this be the same as Yuzu ? xD She will pursue her love interest for Mei, because of course Sara.
Off topic, btw Nina she's hottie xD for sure.

Pretty sure that Yuzu rejected Mei because Mei said she was only willing to do it because she owed Yuzu and not because she reciprocates Yuzu's feelings (which we all know she does). And when Yuzu saw how expressionless her face looked Yuzu didn't want to have things go down that way and said no.

After having skimmed through the movie i have only a couple of comments. The movie was so completely different from the manga I don't even know what else to say about that. I don't think it was even comedy cuz it ALLLLLL looked incredibly depressing. Also, while this series can get pretty risque to say the least there's no outright sex in it, much less completely uncensored, showing EVERYTHING sex in it. That movie wound up linking me to the Recently my sister has been acting strange live action and now...all I can really say is...Japanese movies are the equivalent pornography I guess. There was outright scissoring in it. Like wtf?
