I wouldn't call it racism. If I knew someone was in my town that had a power, something unworldly that couldn't be explained (and isn't), and could kill with a single touch, I'd probably lose my shit, too. When you don't understand what terrifies you, you become angry and afraid, which doesn't really make someone racists. I would say the villagers are more bigoted than anything else. If they spent less time being afraid and more time being curious, Shiro would be more welcomed in the village....but alas, it did not happen.

This story was really what I needed: slightly depressing with a splash of angst and enough fluff to rot my teath out faster than a 5 lbs bag of cotton candy.

I really think it's the story telling that makes it so. When I first started following this, I had serious doubts it was going to be any good, but now it's one of the few mangas that will make me cry if one of the main characters died.

Well this is new. I'm not against the story so I'll continue reading the rest when it comes out. Don't know why so many people are against orgy tags.

I've always found orgys (of the yuri kind) to be interesting for the plain fact I like seeing girls be thrown in a pile and seeing what happens. Reading them is more fun. Reading any smut that has more than 2 females having sex pretty much forces authors to figure out how to describe the sex between the females without you being confused as to who grabbed who's tit XD

That is not what i meant. I was talking about couples where one of the partners thinks that the other one is much better than himself. And also about same-gender couples where one of the partners has much more income than another.

Looks like somebody needs to take a Love, Lust and Intimacy course because it's not just 'same-gender couples' that have success jealously. My girlfriend is far more talanted than me at art, she can get perfects in expert mode on Love Live Idol Project game when she plays for the first time on that song. She makes more money than me. If you didn't earn the money or have a share in it (joint bank account), it's none of your busniess what the person spends it own. That is why couples get 3 accounts, one for each of them and a shared one they add funds each pay check.

If you are going to buy something outrageously stupid expensive, at least warn said significant person. It's common curtsey and shows you are involving said person in important decisions.

Communication is key in all relationships and Mira tossed that straight out the window. Sure, Chika tried to tell her gf her spending habits were out of control, but I felt she seemed so pushy and mean about it. Worst way to get your point across is by being loud >.>
