Also, it's hardly back to square one. The landlady has gotten closer to confessing her feelings, and, much much more importantly, Kozuka is starting to realize she's attracted to her. 3) The end of the chapter suggests there are things going on we don't know about. Someone -- a vampire, one would guess -- hypnotized those two guys and made them carry Khara to Ichika's place. But it wasn't Aria, it wasn't Khara, it wasn't one of Aria's two cronies... then, who the hell did it? Did I miss something, or there's a mystery here?

I thought it was Khara, but I suppose that doesn't make a ton of sense. Hm.

AnoKiss and YagaKimi, that's my 2 favorite manga, good taste.

I also prefer adult yuri to high school, but it's gotta be pretty fucking rare to have preteen yuri, that's early middle school. Most of it is on young teenagers (I never get why they're not at least seniors in highschool, so they're less young, unless it's a story covering multiple years or where the year they are in is a plot point).

Are you perhaps talking about whatever Ooguma said in Kenda's dream in Ch3? Ooguma has never outright or even hinted that she's fine with Kenda being a girl (at least not yet with the misunderstandings and all).
The closest hint we have so far to her being fine with it or not was her reaction when she had Kenda dress up as a maid in that crossdress maid cafe their class did.

Pages 21 and 22 of chapter 2. She does explicitly say "what if I was a girl" and Ooguma laughs it off and says she'd be fine with it. (Which I doubt is actually totally true, tbf).

In New Game, while Rin/Yagami and Hifumi/Aoba are clearly intended as the primary pairings, there's also clearly some stuff between Yagami and Aoba, and Aoba and Umiko, and Yagami and Umiko, and Aoba and Nene, and Nene and Umiko. Your exact interpretation of that is up to you, but I am interpreting at least some of that as romantic or sexual attraction, which I think is perfectly valid. I did not say it was explicitly polyamory, ever, I very explicitly said that it was "light" yuri (or subtext, or w/e you want to call it) where I felt multiple of the relationships had attraction between them.

@SQDizzy This is my chance to shine. So, the only really decent explicitly polyamorous yuri on here is also porn, other than the 3 chapters from A Kiss and White Lily for my Dearest Girl, which a lot of people don't like. (I love them, personally). Two and Two is polyamory, and not bad, but eh. Is My Hobby Weird resolves into polyamory at the end, and Dark Widow is also polyamory, but those are all mostly focused on the porn, with the relationships being secondary. As for things that aren't technically polyamory, Ephemeral Asterism off I'll Send Her Home on the Last Train is very very polyamorous in its ending, even if not explicit. Other than that, there's a few that are like, "light" yuri when none of the relationships ever really resolve into much, where the girls involved seem to be attracted to more than just one of the other girls (New Game!, Riko & Haru & Irukawa Hot Springs). Finally, Tsurezure Biyori always felt pretty polyamorous to me, though I understand that's an interpretation that might not be widely shared. So yeah, I wish I had more to share than just this, believe me. If you want relationship-focused polyamory that's not mostly porn, it's just the chapters from AnoKiss and Ephemeral Asterism, which isn't even explicit. If you're okay with "friendgroups" where everyone is pretty gay for eachother, New Game and Irukawa Hot Springs are both like that, and if you're okay with stuff where the smut comes first, there's a few more options.

Edit: this is ignoring doujins and such, cause I haven't read them much. There's a good bit more polyamory in those, especially like yuyushiki or other things that are polyamory-ish initially.

This is https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/anaerobic_love not exactly a rivalry, because one of them isn't able to compete, but it feels like a rivalry nonetheless, the characters feel similarly about it and it's in a rivalry-type setting. This https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/the_distance_of_love is one I haven't read before, but it's kind of... resolving into a rivalry at the end? even though it doesn't start as one.

AnoKiss/A Kiss and White Lily for my Dearest Girl, the main characters have an incredibly similar relationship to the main characters in Comprehensive Tovarisch, except it actually gets played into more and held onto for longer (in CT, it gets kinda dropped halfway through the first volume, I feel like). Overall, AnoKiss's feel is quite similar to CT, though less humor and more romance. I've called CT AnoKiss-lite before, so if you enjoyed it, I would recommend that.

As for other things and oneshots, it's pretty common in sports mangas, I'm gonna go search some out then come back and make another comment.

Oh yeah, thanks for remindimg me of AnoKiss. Imma reread it rn. And yeah, I think it's bc CT kinda got forced to end quickly or something. Or at least that's what I assume when the ending seemed rushed. The bonus chaps kinda compensated for it so I was still satisfied with the end. As for AnoKiss, I remember getting confused and mixed up by the amount of characters/couples that gets introduced every other chapter. But overall the MCs are by far the best couple of that series.

If you're okay with spoilers, I find that keeping the relationship chart from like chapter 47 or somewhere around there open in a new tab can help first-time readers of it, for a quick reference on who's who. It's my favorite manga of all time, so I can say all the characters off the top of my head, but I get why it'd be confusing.

I just don't think it's that comedic honestly. I would enjoy more seeing the emotional impact it's having on Kanda, having to pretend to be a guy. That's the shit that'd be interesting to me, in a story about gender. Maybe I have difficulty finding "actually someone's not the gender everyone assumes they are" funny due to my personal experience there.

Okay the gayness has fucking exploded upwards as of this chapter, and further justification why everyone is the way they are is there. That's pretty good. I don't see why everyone in here is trying to take one side or the other, they're both fucked up by the situations around their life and trying to set things up so they can be happy. Sumika is pushing Ito's boundaries, and using her to build her own brand (but also looking for Ito's company and frankness, someone that actually is interested in her as a person instead of a prop), but Ito is also using Sumika, trying to make her into the ideal she'd projected upon her. I imagine as things go on, Ito will become Sumika's defender, Sumika will start to fit the ideal more, and at some point Ito will be like "I like you, I don't like the fake Sumika" or something along those lines.

I reread this, I bet the next chapter opens with a flashback and she realizes they never had sex, just made out, then the landlady was like "no I'm not doing this with you you're too drunk" or something and she cried or something. That's my guess, they need to up the simpathy for the landlady still some. God, I do love this though, very guiltily. What a fucking dream, having a beautiful woman decide to take care of me and fix up my life.

Notably I like this manga and the premise, my comment was critical because I hope it will continue to grow, but I do enjoy the premise. Anything dealing with gender mechanics that isn't shitty about them can be a good trip, since I have a lot of weird experiences and feelings about gender.

God I really enjoy these two and their dynamics but... I hope they resolve the "actually a girl" thing soon and keep going. I feel like, while currently that's the entire mechanic of the manga, it could resolve into like, stuff about her parents being overprotective or something, and I'd just like things to continue along.
