That's not work, that's slavery. Is the hospital that critically understaffed? That's the only thing I could think of, which would justify such a gross disregard of human dignity.
At the very least the psychological support should be a given, in my opinion. A breaking soul is like a drowning person - they don't scream for help. Are conditions like this the norm where you work or is that just an exceptional state right now?

And it gets even better: she can spend this weekend at home! =D She has to go back in on Monday and spend at least 5 more days in hospital so they can really properly get rid of her cold, but apparently she's well enough to go home for 2 days and just relax around her loved ones, relax being the key word. xD

Good news! =D

So, while I was on the way to one of my street puppies, I dropped by at the hospital and asked if I can still visit Su tomorrow or if her condition's gotten worse and I should rather stay away for a few more days. Her doctor said I can still visit her and since her heart has been very stable with the new medicine they're giving her, she's recovering pretty fast. If it stays that way, if her body keeps being that energetic and gradually getting better and ready for the big day, they think it might even be safe to go back on their initial word and allow Su to go home until the day of the transplantation under the conditions, that she takes it easy, keeps taking her medicine twice a day and drops by at the hospital every 3 days for a quick check-up. Of course, if those checks show that something is off again, they'd immediately hospitalize her again, but they said it's worth a try at the very least. =D

Okay, so I'm in for one Hell of a day today. Dunno when or even if I'll be able to be here again today. xD So that's why I'm saying it now already: I'm gonna visit Su tomorrow. If you guys have stuff you want me to say to her, shoot. ^_^

^_^;; Actually, the reason why I wanna stay away for a bit is because the direction this arc is taking and the themes currently appearing in it now remind me a little too much of things I've done when I was a bit younger. I...wasn't the best person back then. What Sumin and Seju are experiencing in this manga right now is pretty accurately resembling the worst breakup I've had until now, that's why I said it's starting to hit a little too far home. The memory is still a bit of a wound for me. ^_^;;

Religion is something you should always be sincere about. If you don't believe in any god, you won't find any comfort in priests, monks and etc. But for those who look for god's advice, consulting someone who is (allegedly) devoted to and knowledgeable in the ways of their religion is in a way the same as consulting a psychologist.

Not regularly. xD I usually visit 3 of the local high schools once a year to basically hold a pep talk in front of all the students about self-confidence and self-worth, have a few personal talks with whoever asks for one and give my business info to the principal so students can go ask for it if they ever need my help. I'm not a regular at school. I'm more of a personal consultant and a street worker. ^_^

I can relate to that. =_= Only thing you need to do is google my last name and you immediately find out which city I live in, when I was born, which university I studied at, how I look and a bunch of other stuff. That's the risk about having a social job. Trust is everything and if you're being secretive and not ready to give people a general idea of who you are, they usually won't have any interest in you. I knew that from the start, but I just can't really get comfortable with the idea of being a public personality, for lack of a better word. It makes me a bit anxious sometimes. xD

I'm at the computer most of the time and can work from home usually. Do well enough to provide a comfortable life for myself with a relatively flexible schedule and if I can keep it like that I'll be happy.

Paper work. So. Much. paper work. There's this document for the parents, and that one for the teachers and then this report to send to the foundation and some multiple page forms for the higher ups and these bills to pay and and and. I'm not cut out for all this madness of bureaucracy.

Glad to see someone else who is not just about the body, look, physical appearance or whatever.

That is...a bit offensive, actually. :-| Having a physical type doesn't mean it's all you look at when you flirt with someone, but it's the first. I don't actually think there's anyone here, who doesn't have a pretty specific personality type as well. For instance, I love people, who are self-confident, funny, kind, know what they want and have a solid backbone.

Intelligence can be sexy, but it can also make a person completely unattractive. I've been called a brain by a few people, so I usually try to tone it down when I flirt. I actually do want to get noticed for my body as well. ^_^

For someone who isn't a very humble or considerate person, being knowledgeable could be their downfall. That first admiration usually doesn't last very long for most people and when you flirt (or just generally talk) with someone, you should always make sure to give them as much time to talk as you give yourself so they can see themselves as your equal. People, who can't really hold back on their intelligence tend to correct others a lot for example, or explain things in such elaborate ways, that the other person has a hard time following them. For some, this is intimidating and can even be interpreted as being arrogant. So it's really not always an asset to be smart, if you can't be humble as well. ^_^;

I think I'm pretty much the same. xD First thing I check out is the face (I have a huge weakspot for dark eyes...) and then I just steal some glances at the body in general. I'll honestly admit that I do check out the chest and butt as one of the first things. xD I also think I have a pretty generic type, to be honest. x'D
