My, this oneshot caused quite the 'uproar', huh? Anyway, at first I wasn't sure how I felt about this either - I was expecting drama or some kind of difficulties, but I wasn't expecting THAT - but after giving it some thought, I realized that maybe the point of this is simpler than what I expected: it doesn't really matter what happens 'behind the scenes', these two women find true happiness in being together with their children. That's it.

Though I might just be plain wrong :P

I love Shuninta's take on all different kinds of yuri 'settings', the problems her characters face are always real and she's particularly good at developing the growing process they all go through. The story can revolve about anything, and she'd still make it interesting. It's so refreshing, honestly.
