I think it's a music program, like Music Bank, which is popular in Korea and in China. These shows are organized by broadcasting companies that invite idol groups to perform on their stages. Typically, the performances are unpaid depending on the popularity of the group and are considered an opportunity for publicity. However, I'm not entirely sure, this is just what it seems like. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Tbh i don't even know what Kanna was expecting, like she chose to come back here knowing Joe would still have Mitsuki to look after which is why they split in the first place and then i guess she thought she could get him to go with her? despite that things haven't changed for Joes circumstance. Like either way someone would have to leave their home in order to get together and its not like she said any of this to Joe and has only said something when she is planning to leave anyway.

I do believe its possible that they do get back together, whether that will be because of Joe deciding to go to America which he would probably only do if Mitsuki decided to leave with him or Kanna staying in japan which she clearly doesn't want to do.

I think Kanna wanted to test the saying, time heals all wounds. She might have believed that with time having passed between her and Joe, and now that Mitsuki is older, she could convince Mitsuki to move with her to the States. Unlike before, when Joe made the decision not to leave because of Mitsuki, Kanna likely thought that Mitsuki, being older and able to think for herself, might be more open to the idea. If Mitsuki agreed, it could have even influenced Joe to reconsider.

I found this on another manga reading website by Yuto Komiya. I'm not entirely sure if it's authentic or actually by Kamiya due to the slight difference in artstyle, but the series has been continued into a webtoon style, complete with color, and it picks up where the story left off.

This chapter had just the right mix of comedy and plot : ) Their fake dating lasts only 7 days, but Amazaki Suika has a way of making the days feel like a month. Because of this, it doesn’t feel rushed (even though it’s only 7 days :P )

^Vira is what I'd describe as a Yandere with a strong sense of self-awareness and emotional intelligence. I haven't played the game in a long time, but I agree that the writers did a great job making her Yandere traits feel balanced and believable. Unlike a typical Yandere who might knock someone out and tie them up to a chair half naked in an abandoned building, like Yuno from Future Diary :P

IMO, the romantic setup has been pushed too far at this point to just put on the brakes at the last minute and have Mitsuki pat Aya on the back and call her BFF. That would be incredibly anticlimactic, and I can't imagine the author being this tone-deaf. We're getting some version of a prom date in the end.

I agree, there's already been a significant buildup around the idea of the prom and whether Aya and Mitsuki will attend, so it wouldn't make sense for it to be left out or unconsidered. The same goes for their romantic connection, for so many chapters to be dedicated to the development of their relationship, only for them to end up as just close friends, would feel like a wasted opportunity on the author/story and readers end.

Only as an "important friends" this is why communication is key in any relationship.

I get the vibe that the Kanna is kind of like a fairy godmother for Aya and Mitsuki. At the end of the chapter, when she says, "I guess... I should leave soon,” it really feels like the author is using her as a subtle plot device. It’s like she’s there to give Aya that last bit of encouragement to go for it and take her chances. It’s almost as if she’s this quiet, presence who shows up, nudges things in the right direction, and then disappears right when she’s no longer needed.

Too me it feels like kind of the opposite, tbh i got the sense that she is essentially telling Aya to do what she seems to have done with Joe, or something similar, basically if Aya is fine being with Mitsuki thinking of her as a friend then to let it be and kind of just give up, which seems to be what happened with Joe and is still happening but i could be wrong.

Though i do think this will lead Aya to at least say that she wants to go to the prom with Mitsuki (or Mitsuki will say no to the music party and go to the prom with Aya) rather than Aya going alone the whole time, which would differ to what seems to be Kanna's experience.

I get what you mean. I feel that Kanna sees a part of herself in Aya, and Mitsuki being Joe's niece makes this connection even stronger. At the end of the chapter, when Kanna says, "I guess... I should leave soon," it seems like she had a moment of realization that she might have been intruding too much on Aya and Mitsuki's relationship. To the point she may have sensed that Aya is hesitant to express her feelings to Mitsuki, which is why she's gently encouraging Aya to take that step forward.
