Yeah. That's pretty much my problem with it. I really like the art. I really like the scene and interaction they presented. But I can only see Jasper X Lapis as toxic and somewhat abusive, because that's what it was, but that doesn't seem to fit the feeling they were going for, so I wish they had used different characters or, at least, filed the serial numbers off and called them OCs.

Jaspis has been my otp ever since I found out what shipping was and I'm not stopping now. I really need to look at Gram's large catalog of jaspis art and manga again, they feed me when SU was airing.

I really love these two! As someone who shipped Amethyst x Peridot, Jasper x Lapis was my second favorite ship since it just has so much potential with story telling! I remember reading so many good fanfics of the pair.
