News about Ogino sensei...sort of. When the hiatus announcement was made it was explained that it was for health reason, and as it turns out from his own social media recently, it was depression. But to receive treatment for depression for 2 years to the point of unable to work is alarming, which means this is beyond your run of the mill oral medicine treatment that one may go through. If I would made a guess it is not just depression, but bi-polar depression. In any case this is not an illness to be taken lightly (people die). I hope he takes as much time as it is, and take as many methods (there are many new methods that no longer require oral medication) as he can to tame the disease.
I have to admire him for coming out telling the public about the illness, as it is typically taboo.
Interestingly, he is Yurihime's ONLY male artist. How ironic. He is only 35.

So in the end that means we have a gamer living off her sugarmama prostitute earning. Nana cannot stop being an escort otherwise they cannot afford to live in that apartment. Tsukasa probably has never works not even once in her life thanks to various non stop supply of sugar mamas, plus it seems that if all she does is gaming, it is not that huge an expense compare with jewelry or fast cars.
I just wish the story was not axed, it has so much potential. Nana is the trashiest main character I have ever read for the last 4 years. I wonder why the manga was axed.

Too difficult for me.
Nana and Tsukasa seemed to be well after Tsukasa's (Ex)gf showed up and left in anger (so that means Nana wins). They started to live together in a luxury apartment. But later Nana read Tsukasa's phone messages and discovered something that upsets her. She started to sleep with various people. But eventually they were back together and all is well.

But then again, everything I wrote here could be wrong. So check your raw to see how close I get. I don't quite understand chapter 7 as to exactly how they reconcile and be happily ever after.

This is a really odd manga that I wished were not axed. Nana is pure trash, and Tsukasa is a loser that relies on sugar mamas.

Re-reading the last few chapters. I notice Yuzu is wearing her ring out in the open, including at school, I thought that is a no no, and they agree not to wear it at school? Did Sabu forget?

A little bit unrelated, but I guess Sunday GX likes Vampeerz theme so much that Show's new manga "Undark: 新しい透明な力のすべて" (July issue, coming out in mid June 2024) will have some common elements with vampeerz. To be exact, Undark is a psychic suspense story as Show describes it.
"It's a story about children who have awakened to supernatural powers, and although it's not a direct story, it also includes yuri-like elements.". Let's hope the romance part is more important than the psychic power part of the story as the story develop. The romance part of vampeerz is what got me hooked, not the vampire part.
The main character looks like Ichika but with very long hair.

New chapter will come out in the upcoming May publication (July issue). You can check the info from the current June issue Yurihime back page, or simply directly head to yurihime's website under the next issue preview tab. Having 6 months of no new publication is still alarming while there is no official explanation from either the publisher or the mangaka. It will be very interesting to read Volume 6 though, because perhaps the mangaka needs lots of time to rework the chapters?

The back page for the June issue has the usual Q&A session with all the mangaka, this time is about asking them whom do they admire most. I think all the mangaka gave their answers including those who replied "nobody". Saburouta simply was not listed and hence was missing at the Q&A session. I find that extremely strange since everyone just submitted a one or two sentences answers. So Sabu did not even do that, very strange indeed for someone who work in Yurihime for over 10 years. Health reason? Burned out? Artistic clash with the new chief editor? Going back moonlighting shoujo manga? Who knows.
