Abusive dynamics are framed as neutral or good in manga all the time and I don’t really like it. That’s all.

Yeah, I get you. It doesn't even matter if it's yuri or het or whatever, it's just... weird. There's an uncomfortable air around it that never quite dissipates.

Imo it's even worse when it's played for comedy. There's shitloads of dumb ecchi bait manga that get a kick out of constantly humiliating their cover girls for laughs, or putting them in positions where they have to sexually demean themselves for some reason, and it's just vaguely uncomfortable to me when it isn't addressed as fundamentally fucked up.

Manga would be so much more enjoyable if constructive dialogue and healthy communication had never been invented. Then it wouldn't be so painful to see the utter lack of it cause pointless drama over and over again.

Mangaka really need to figure out a new way to cause conflict. Like, does nobody have the writing chops to create drama among characters that actually talk to one another?

I don't like it, the ending is way too sappy, and it doesn't sit right with me how the story suddenly shifted to portray Shion as so selfless and kind and Nozomi as thoughtless for not noticing her feelings. Like, hello? Shion totally did betray her by using Nozomi's weakness to satisfy her pent-up desires, the accusation is well-deserved. And Nozomi was right to blame her for that.

But I guess she suddenly fell in love with her, changing both her tune and her sexual orientation in one fell swoop, so that makes everything OK, or something. What the fuck.

Lesson learned: If you can draw decent porn, stick to that, don't try to tackle heavy themes like consent and assault, and unrequited love across gender lines, only to wrap them up in a neat, kitschy romance bow that makes no fucking sense.

Honestly man, I still don't see it. It was "consensual", but like... considering the circumstances, it was still not a good move by Shion. I mean, imagine your pal goes through a rough breakup, gets piss-drunk and then hands you a gun, telling you to just shoot him in the face. Would you do it? Of fucking course not, because you know it's just his emotions and the booze talking, he would never ask this in a rational state of mind and it's kind of insane. Same logic applies here. Shion knew that the offer was a result of her friend being vulnerable and blackout drunk. The decent move would've been to tell her friend off and get her sobered up, and then offer some actual emotional support (also, what the fuck was that weird "you broke up because you didn't love him anymore" gaslighting speech, anyway?).

So imo not a rapist, but certainly a dick move and taking the easy opportunity to get a score off your vulnerable unrequited love. She didn't deserve the rapist and assault rep, but she does deserve the betrayal accusation.

It's a bit unfair how some people are ready to accuse Shion, we don't know exactly what all happened and the timeline, like, can we wait and see?

Taking advantage of someone's emotional state and inebriation will never look good, no matter what.

With the amount of unexplained things, I sort of thought this story had another 5-6 chapters to go. Interested to see how a single one will wrap it up.

No you guys, you're all getting it wrong. Rin has become an omnitemporal mastermind where she gets to have every cake and eat it too. A-chan? No longer married to a guy since he's doomed to die in every timeline, also now comes as a package deal with her kids. And the kids? All around because we got poor sap to make them and then die, so Rin can enjoy her loli harem. Yukina? Yup, also around and somewhat implied to be in a relationship with Rin.

Rin played everyone and won. She gets to have all the waifus at once without giving anything up. Seeing the different potential futures made her hungry, and now she gets to enjoy all of them.

She's the villain in this story, and A-chan was too blinded by love to see it.

Man, I'd love to peek inside Riko's head, because something in there is powerfully off-kilter.
