From the looks of Serika's trailer it looks like they're gonna be a voiceless PoV character. Which is fine for the scenes where they aren't important but stuff like the confrontation against Black Suit is going to be atrocious.

Actually ended up giving the game a try despite the misgivings I had for it for a long time(mostly due to the fanbase) and was pleasantly surprised. It's not on the same level of yuri as other gacha but I came out of it with new pairings to be a fan of. If nothing else volume 3 of the main story is worth going through for Saori and Atsuko(shame there is no fanart of the two of them here because there is actually a good number of it out there) alongside a few other pairs.

After everything is said and done I really hope Vertin and her team get their happy ending. She's been through too much shit for anything less.

There is also the lesbian elf that has a thing for halflings, though she is a minor character and the fact that she's lesbian only comes up in side material. That being said though Dungeon Meshi has very little romance yuri or otherwise. The few there is is one sided and doesn't go anywhere since romance isn't the focus of the story. If you don't mind that then it's a very good series.

Yeah I don't think this can be called subtext anymore. I can't think of a single heterosexual explanation for Akebi saying that her performance in this explicitly romantic play isn't an act but her genuine feelings towards Erika. If that isn't yuri then I don't know what is.

I'd say that Ryouko went too hard on making Seo a psycho to break Satsuki's ideals. I was fine with it when it was just her killing Kai since at that point it actually did seem like she tried to be a better person but wasn't left with any other choice because he kept on trying to kill her despite that. It's not as if Satsuki wouldn't be dealing with the moral dilemma of what if the person you saved went on to kill other people. Her turning the school into a death trap just to spite the one person that believed her is jumping the shark. It feels as if it's trying to say that Kai was right all along with he was just an asshole high on his own farts.

I feel like there's a line between teasing someone and being emotionally manipulative, and Ami's certainly crossing that. I don't get the idea of wanting to see your partner emotionally distraught, it just feels like being an ass to someone who cares about you deeply. Is this just some weird Japanese cultural thing where borderline abusive relationships are normalized or what?

You say that as if Japanese manga has only toxic relationships and the stuff from other countries have no toxic relationships at all. Like all those other manga with cute fluffy yuri doesn't exist or that all Japanese people think the relationship in the manga is something normal instead of the author just wanting to write a story about a messed up relationship instead of something more normal.

Just throwing it out there, but there are some pretty big unmarked spoilers in this one. The game isn't in English yet and I don't know if it'll ever get a translation but I still think it should be mentioned.

So Fuwawa likes Yosuga no Sora, The anime and VN infamous for incestuous twin sex. It's one thing for people to draw that kind of stuff simply because they are twins and it's another entirely for one of the twins to pour fuel on that fire.

Probably my favorite Engage pairing. Mostly because I ended up liking Celine more than I thought I would. When I read her bio I thought she'd be a naive idiot brocon like Eirika and she ended up being the opposite.

Honestly the relationships are much better than the lewd. Not that I'm saying it should stop being lewd. BDSM lesbians is the main draw of the manga after all and it would be silly to suggest that the lewd should stop. But if the mangaka wanted to do a romantic yuri drama after this then I would be down for it 100%. If it's anything like this chapter then it would be better than a lot of other yuri drama out there.
