gotta be honest, I hate those abusive family members. I think imma read the ending once its finished and skim through the chapters. Too much Drama for me personally.
Apart from hinata, every ogre so far has shown amount of "do what I want to some degree, or suffer abuse", then get away scot free, with no hard feelings whatsoever.

I mean they are literal ogres in the demonic oni sense of the word. So far the head of the family is the only one to have done something unforgivably messed up, and the MC definitely is harboring hard feelings toward him. The little idol girl was just pushy. She really didn't do anything terrible.

As for tags, I really don't see why it would be a big deal. Personally, I would just go with the middle ground and tag it Yuri Crush but it's not like tagging it as Yuri came out of nowhere. To each their own.

It's rare to see well-written manga in this genre. This was a short but sweet little story. Does anyone have any suggestions for decent manga somewhat in this vein?

Yeah, that crossed my mind as well. We'll have to see if they go there with this story. So far it seems a bit more like a gritty dark comedy rather than a tragedy.

It's kind of funny that the body of a young girl is pretty much optimal for somebody who's an assassin since you really don't need to be particularly large or strong to use a gun and it's the perfect social camouflage. The one downside from a logistical standpoint is getting clients to take you seriously. Of course, the psychological ramifications are a whole other barrel of worms.

Edit: I just realized this is by the same mangaka that did HInamatsuri. This is going to be pure gold.

Out of all the works I've read with the idiot couple tag, these two just might be the most severe case.

I like the new girl, maybe she will be the catalyst for Kasumi and Sakurako to finally make things official.

She's fun and pretty harmless. I like her addition to the cast. It's funny watching her futilely try to hit on Kasumi. If even Sakurako, who is basically her life partner at this point, can't successfully pull it off then this girl doesn't have a snowball's chance in Hell. Sexual advances of any kind just seem to roll off Kasumi like water off a duck's back.

Edit: actually, I find it super strange how, when Michi first sees that ghost waiting in the storage shed, her response is to make an excuse to get Kasumi away and then go in alone. Why did she do that?

Michi was trying to prevent Kasumi from walking into the possible danger she was unaware of but they still needed to put the PE equipment away. Michi then noticed that the ghost appeared to have vanished and even commented on it in her thoughts before taking the cones in to put them away. The ghost then reappeared and basically jumped her when she turned away to leave. It's also good to keep in mind that up until this incident she hasn't had any truly dangerous encounters with ghosts. They have all been relatively harmless so all she really had to go on was the bad feeling she got.

Good thing all chapter's get a proper translation but man I'm stoked for the next one. I must say the whole thing with Nanase seeing the kiss and falling from the stairs reminded me a lot of "My Joy". She's also a sports fanatic and didn't spend that much time with her gf, but at least she's not crippled.

I hope Nanase won't be a sus, beats Fuuko up and then cuts all ties with Yuni. That would be effin hilarious

Wouldn't be an Isekai without a love triangle where one girl is inevitably going to get hurt. Especially since most of these writers never have the balls to go with the polyamory ending

More writers have the balls to go poly than to have a clear-cut ending where one love interest is picked and the rest are cleanly kept away without wishy washy ambiguity.

The truly ballsy ending is where pretty much all of the budding romances at the start, end in misery, debauchery, and human failure. It's a shame more realistic stories like Scum's Wish aren't more popular.

I've stumbled across several instances where a series that was being uploaded here on Dynasty ended up being dropped and forgotten by the original scanlators only to be picked up again years later by a different group and going noticed. Is there some official way to report this to the uploaders and let them know this has happened?
