Well, it does seem more of a storybook style than the typical moe style, so I'd agree with the tag.

Probably the biggest problem I have with the series is how hard it is to tell WFT is happening in a lot of scenes. I mean, the weirdness is weird and all but I don't mind it so much because the series owns it, and happy admits its weird as hell. I can respect that. But the often-confusing art totally kills it for me.

I want to be cat too. This story is cute and everythin' but.. Isn't it kinda absurd? Like, she talks to Kaho-chan for the first time, one day, and then she realizes she loves her? After one day? Srsly? And they make love the second day?! .. I've never been in love so i don't know if that's possible, is that possible?

Actually, it's the second day where they go to lunch, and the implication on page 10 is that some time has passed with them becoming friends before they make love. The time compression is a little vague, but less so than in a lot of yuris.

It's funny, first couple of times I read Rokuroichi's stuff, I was actually put off by the art. But it's grown on me a lot, and now I love their style. Funny how that goes, eh?

I wonder if I should actually watch Lucky Star. After all, it wouldn't be the first time I've watched an anime solely because the doujins were awesome (see also: Bodacious Space Pirates and Hyakko).

TBH, as much as I'd rather it were the other way, I'd personally say take the trans tag off and put the yaoi one on. Word Of God in the endnotes says Ren's a boy, and no amount of wishing will change that.

Also, funny stuff about the yaoi vs yuri on the reader. Many lesbians end up watching gay male porn given that it's typically more romantic than lesbian porn aimed at males. (Citation, lesbian blog: http://www.lesbilicious.co.uk/why-do-lesbians-love-gay-man-porn/) I of course have a preference for reading about female relationships as a lesbian, but am not opposed at all to het or yaoi. Cute is cute. If it's cute, I'll read it.

A huge portion of the lesbians I know online (and some in RL) are totally into yaoi and gay porn, so at least one person's experience resonates with the idea. I've never been super into it (despite being a female-preferring bi female) but I can't say I haven't written some fanfic that way in the past. Heh.

Funny, for me it's the opposite. The last couple of chapters are the part I most want to read, and it's kind of annoying watching them spin their wheels to no purpose for so long before that. Probably from when the rival ghost shows up to the end are the parts I like to read best.

Actually, I'm going by the fact that he never in the story identifies, or even refers to himself as female. And in fact, while he treasures the clothing, still sees it as fashion.

As a trans woman myself, I can assure you I'm thinking about a bit more than physical form here.

I will give you that the older sister may be trans, but again there's no identifcation and she refers to herself quite forthrightly as a guy multiple times. So perhaps a dedicated crossdresser instead, which does happen.

Hmm, while this is cute and fun and all, I dunno if the Transsexual tag really fits. It seems more straight-up crossdressing, like in Prunus Girl or Reversal, than an identification or desire on Ren's part to actually be a girl. Even the author's end notes seem to refer only to crossdressing.

That said, I find it hilarious to see people whining about yaoi on the reader when there's been yaoi in the reader for at least FOUR YEARS! Many lulz were had.

This is probably my favourite of the Wildrose stories.

Hmm, this will be the first long-form storyline I've seen from Amano, as opposed to linked short stories. Should be interesting.

I think it's more Yukimine and Shido are in love with each other, but Yukimine thinks the love letter is for Kaga while Shido doesn't realize Yukimine's feelings. Kaga, meanwhile, is just confused by the whole thing.
