Well, I'm with you, dude. Openly admitting that you're gay in this country is basically a death sentence. Legally, I'm labelled as "mentally disabled", and therefore are not protected by law. You could get locked up and sexually abused for being LGBT here. A prominent political figure here once said," If they(LGBT) refuse to cure themselves medically or through religion, they must be willing to accept their fate to be ridiculed and abused for as long as they live." You might want to add Always Sometimes Monsters to the list. It's a game where you can choose your gender and sexual orientation. I've only ever heard of it, but never actually played one.

oh yeah, that game got so popular when the ebola virus broke out. It's practically all over the news. One guy uploaded a screenshot of his virus's name:Ebola. Then, this trend just started spreading. It looks fun but I haven't gotten around to play it.

Hatred's publicity was successful, even if it is just a mediocre top-down shooter with not much substance. All it had going for it was selling power: social-disruptive controversy, the more talk about it, the more ppl know of it. Letting people know it's a [game] and it exists -> the basic goal of publicity.

Without all the noise it would've quietly sunk like the rest of the average indie games that hit Steam's storefront. With that I give a slow clap to all those who argued for/against it, cuz they were an integral part of the publicity strategy.

I guess "there is no such thing as bad publicity" rings true in Hatred's case.

Anyone here plays the Yakuza series? Was hooked when I played it on my PS2 when it was first released. It's not really popular outside Japan, plus I don't know anyone here who actually played it. Absolutely recommended if you're willing to give it a shot. I would suggest starting from Yakuza 1. With emulators, you can actually upscale them and make em look HD if you've got powerful PC to run it.

Has anyone else here played To The Moon? I just played the free DLC Christmas Specials, and I was NOT expecting to get my mind blown.

Never heard of the game before, but I decided to play it after hearing your suggestion. To be honest, I was not expecting much, especially considering the graphics. It looked like one of those games that anyone can make with RPGMaker. But, I was wrong. I was so captivated in the story, I ended up playing it in one sitting. The soundtrack is also superb. Definitely the best $10 I've spent!

Totally cried when I found out Johnny's reason to go to the moon, and I do not cry easily. It's also sad that River was not able to remind John of their first meeting until her death. The rabbits, carrying the platypus that John gave her, cutting her hair short, dying for a frickin lighthouse, and reading Emperor's New Clothes to find a way to convey these things to John. But, at least, John died finally understanding River, which is comforting.
Overall, 11/10 would cry again

Have you guys played Huniepop? I was sceptical at first, but damnn it's GOOD! You can play as a female with 12 love interests, which you can date them all at the same time btw. It's also a goddamn hilarious game!
Anyway, if you haven't played this, I would absolutely encourage you to play it. It's also been getting crazy positive reviews on Steam ever since the release.

OT: I'm actually surprised people assume a male character in a yuri story automatically = love interest. I see the guy as another mop head from Their Story; he's there to support the characters in their relationship. If he sees Seol-a as a dear little sister, I don't see him trying to get in the way of her and No-Rae.

I'm tempted to read the rest of the chapters, but I think I'll wait until they're uploaded on Dynasty.

Yeah, that's why I originally got the two of them mixed. Didn't know which one is the brother, and ex-boyfriend. At some point, I thought they're both the same person lol. Turns out, Samba just modified his hairstyle, thats all
On the side note, Samba's art suffers from "same-face", I mean Choi Min Jeong and Hee-Jin look like clones of Baek Seol-a. It's also the same case with Nam Ji Hwan and Baek Jin Woo. Samba needs to stop introducing more characters or I'll go crazy from trying to differentiate them
