Pg 33 “weel, ‘seeing is believing’ as they say.

I’m very interested in where this will go. I have a feeling that things won’t be as simple as “quit the rental girlfriend gig and get together”. We’ve seen this type of rental gf work in yuri before, but typically not outside of one shots and shorter series so I’m looking forward to this

Wow, this was a great first chapter. Ren was so well characterized, I love how she's selfish and materialistic but still human enough to be sympathetic, and the manga made her comphet clear without coming across as preachy. Really looking forward to more!

It seems likely that Sui has a one-sided crush on the red-haired woman from the color spread that she's (unhealthily) dealing with by buying a rental girlfriend. I wonder if the one-night stand woman from this chapter will show up again, though.

The title hints at something like that too, as if it's Reina demanding responsability from Sui for showing her the ways of gay.

as already mentioned by cogito it also looks like this series is setting up some delightfully messy relations between the two main characters and as of yet unnacounted for hanger-ons.

Definitely has potential, will be looking forwards to seeing how things develop.

Whether it's a triangle or a square or a hexagon, it's certainly going to be a ride.

Love Ren's character and her pipeline speedrun from "what's a lesbian" to "I'm engaging in certain activities with a woman I just met while fantasizing about another woman". These levels of self-awareness and decisiveness gave me one hell of a whiplash xD

The impression I got was that she tried to date for real for a time but never actually felt anything for her boyfriends. So she is a lesbian with a big hetero dating history, I think. She got good at dating and made it her part time job, but figured she was just wasn't interested, without realizing she was just a lesbian all along.

I like the spread on pages 2-3, forming a chain between two people out of frame is an interesting composition.

I absolutely loved this, Ren is such a delight with her flaws and her decisiveness is figuring out herself

It’s seriously refreshing seeing a character discover what being a lesbian is, having her first lesbian experience, and then immediately realizing she’s fallen for another girl all in one chapter.

I’m interested to see how she deals with these feelings, since she seems straightforward? Ig?

Also, looking back that the cover(?) page thing, I wonder if Sui has feelings for another woman and was going on a date with Reina to help her move on. And maybe the hand that’s holding Reina’s hair is this girl? I could be totally wrong here tho

It’s 18:34 when she looks up what lesbians are, and it’s 21:17 when she decides to go to a lesbian bar, so at that point, 2 hours and 43 minutes had passed, so if anything, in the span of what’s most likely closer to 3 hours, she discovers what a lesbian is, goes to a lesbian bar, and hooks up with a woman she met at said bar,

Like damn that’s crazy. That’s gotta be a record.

Also, just realizing, the girl she hooked up with went from shy/awkward to dommy mommy when Reina told her that she’d be her first woman. lol the reversal was peak

I didn’t realize this was the same mangaka who did/is doing Some Prefer Nettles, no wonder it’s peak

Those ball hands are a... bold artistic choice. But the story is interesting so far. I love her "only one way to find out!" attitude" where she goes from "what is a lesbian?" to "Sure, I'll have sex with this woman who's hitting on me, why not?"

omg this is so refreshing. it feels like a much more grounded and adult representation of realizing ur gay. something about this series feels really fresh and i love the insights into reina's thinking

Yuri square !!! With the cover, I believe the girl we haven't saw yet (bottom left) would be Sui's interest. Or maybe an exe, an unrequited love : something's up here.
