There's a lot wrong with Hinami, but I'll give her this: we now know she can literally turn people gay, but she hasn't done it to Tsukino.

As Hinami has stated in the postcards, her and Tsukino are the only real people in their world, she can control everyone else as she wishes, but never Tsukino. Or rather, I guess she feels Tsukino is real and loves her because she can't control her.

Doesn't she say in one of the previous chapters that she can control Tsukino, but loves her the way she is because she is also a real person?

Old Japanese joke that comes from misreading the Bible's Corinthians 5:20.

The line "be reconciled to God" is translated as 神と和解せよ but if you remove some of the strokes in 申 (inside 神, god) then you get ﾈｺ (cat). This applies to any lines where God is mentioned but this one is probably the more famous one.
