Finally finished reading this after years, really good. My only complaint is that they didn't hug each other. Be it platonic or romantic... I like some hugging.
The negative reactions to the ending a few pages back are quite confusing. I think that it was fairly noticeable from the start that the characters are not that much invested on the sexual aspect of a relationship, with Satou clearly showing some sort of aversion to it. There are other forms of romance, and there not being kissing or sex immediately (or at all) doesn't really change the affect they have for each other.
They want to be there to support each other, and for the two, that is more than enough. They have a lot to learn about themselves, and that part of their life only just began. I hope to see more yuri like this — keeping those things subtle, but not impossible to notice. It's cool when the characters are very open about what they are (Such as Ariu Aki from Okujou no Yurirei-san being very open about knowing she liked girls even as a kid, and confidently stating it) but I also enjoy seeing it being implied.
Personally, I find their relationship an ideal one. I like very much seeing 2D girls kiss each other and going further than that, but if I had to pick a "type" for myself, then this would be it.
