Okay that’s a lot of yuri flags in just two chapters.... Does Saonji having the pickaxe and talking about raising flags slowly mean that she’s realized her own feelings for Tachibana and is going for it now? It somehow doesn’t seem like it still.

She still doesn't perceive them as her own feelings. She is still in denial/dissociated from her relationship, treating it as a yuri visual novel she is reading, rather than things she does and events that happen to her. The fact that she is thinking in terms of flags and events, instead of becoming extremely self-conscious about everything she does before Tachibana, like any hormone-driven teenager would, is pretty telling.

Yeah, it feels like it's ending. I'm crossing my fingers that it isn't. I'd love to see more stories that actually go longer after an identity reveal or whatever.

I mean, Harumi and Azusa could emigrate to the magical dimension, enlist in the magic police, buy a house, and raise a daughter together. Or something.

Though I find the idea that Minami will have to join them as an MG more likely -- and more appealing to be frank, since that would mean that rather than ending, the manga takes the first step towards building a whole team of MGs. I wonder what color Minami would be?

I admit being extremely biased in favor of Takemiya Jin's work, so while the premise admittedly still weirds me out, I am willing to approach this one like I would a Big Idea Sci-Fi: how would human interactions and society change if X happened? In this case, X = this whole ABO stuff...

How does this not have WAYYY more comments? This manga is amazing. I love the plot, characters, the Yuri(which I’m assuming will come later). And it’s not fan service so there aren’t a bunch of random crotch shots :D I love it and I can’t wait for the anime adaption.

I am very cautious about being excited here, mainly because recent years have taught me that original plot + solid worldbuilding + yuri - school setting - fanservice is a recipe for the manga getting axed after 2-3 volumes (let alone getting animated).

Chapter 7 has contained some intense ara~ara~ energy.

The bigger question is, when are they going to upgrade to Super Frens?

Pretty sure it's to remind everyone that the idol industry is an ugly, ugly business, despite how much it is glamorized in the media, and creepy doxxers and stalkers are just one of the constant threats it faces.

So Cooluby became alone because other jewels couldn't keep up with her. Does that mean azu was actually quite competent in combat, since, judging from azu's personality so far, she woulda whine to Poryu all day if she couldn't keep up with Ruby?

I'm pretty sure it's because Ruby's own skills have been slipping ever since she's been distracted by Azurite's reliable back that the latter has been able to match her.

It's also an interesting Reversal how Harumi is younger than Gunjou but Ruby has more MG experience than Azurite.

But I don't think there is anything supernatural about it? If your brain is preoccupied with thinking about your crush and potential relationships, you have less time and energy for training and professional activities. It's the same reason why office romance is often discouraged.

You know, this chapter didn't connect with me... and I think the reason is the promise-payoff incongruence. The initial setup of the manga was a Western-style Superhero with an awkward Japanese heroine, but now over a half of the manga has been spend retreading the familiar Japanese tropes, and the arc ends in the most predictable and, lets face it, bog-standard way for manga. All the pathos lacks any punch if it betrays the previously established expectations.
