This feels really empty to be honest, almost as if it had been axed…

Like any good series that isn't the Yuri Story A, unfortunately. :-(

But I agree with everyone, this was a surprising treat, especially considering it's only been around since November...

I think this mangaka likes maids

Huh, I never noticed that, but you may be right.

I am also happy that Kase has finally gotten chewed out for her random fits of jealousy, but in the series' trademark fashion, this was done in such a gentle and toothless way that I feel she still hasn't learned anything deep inside. She did apologize to the Prince, but if you examine her "debrief" with Yamada, only the latter actually explicitly addresses what was said earlier, while Kase just listens and nods and thinks things to herself without vocalizing them. This, to me, shows that she still hasn't reached a crisis point where she would have to self-reflect and to change for the better. And I think this is because she, once again, was forgiven too easily by everyone (in this case, both Yamada and the Prince).

It's very weird honestly. I think the gist that I can summarize, though I might be wrong, is that at least some of the demons like the woman who went to the brothel are futa, and are a species that "has no concept of rape" but also "are driven by a desire to rape", which is very bizarre for numerous reasons and contradictory.

The demonkind seem to have no concept of "rape" because, when they are among themselves, they don't see sexual assault as different from any other kind of assault, so they don't have an extra word for it. It looks like their society is extremely hierarchical, with a clear pecking order from the strongest to the weakest, driven by a congenital desire to dominate others and established either by beating them in combat or by literally fucking them over. And when they leave their homeland, that desire for physical and sexual domination gets projected onto other species, most of whom are physically weaker -- which is how they become notorious serial rapists, despite not knowing the term.

And if I may engage in some world-building speculation, this dog-eats-dog attitude of the demonkind may be a result of their community having faced a near extinction from an outside threat in the past (not hard to imagine why someone would try to exterminate them). Not justifying rape and murder here, just saying that extreme survival conditions are known to spawn very brutal social institutes that persist for generations down the line.

next chapter is the final chapter, did not expect that much sad

Darn. After I got my hopes high that it wasn't ending, that news was extra abrupt. :-(

I'm having a lot of trouble with the sizing on this one. Without resizing, it's too small to read, but when I resize, it won't fit in the window. Is it easier to read on a phone, maybe?

Had the same issue, but fixed it by zooming out to 80% while reading it.

Actually, what she's feeling is Envy, Jealousy is feeling like something you already have is under threat, whereas Envy is wanting something that you can't have.

That's an interesting distinction that I can see being useful, but I don't think those words actually are distinct that way in either dictionary definitions or usage.
I have a similar thing--I like to see a distinction between ethics and morals, where ethics are grounded in some kind of philosophical principle, while morals are based in community standards, religious strictures and similar authority-based foundations, and may from an ethical position be completely arbitrary. Note that religious texts can contain ethical principles, like "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you". So in this scheme, for instance, disapproving of gays is a moral position, not an ethical one, since all the justifications for it ultimately come down to "God says" or "That's what the community thinks", but nobody ever advances any actual reasons why gayness is a bad thing.
I think it's a useful distinction and I think there's some basis for it in usage, but in the end I can't really defend it. Pity.

Man, I wanted to tell you for a long time, so this is as good a time as any: If you ever decide to write a book, post a link, and I'll buy it.

Princess is power bottom

Hardly. From where I am viewing it, she is the driving force of the relationship, using her privilege and natural charms to get what she wants. :-) If anything, it is Aki who repeatedly submits to her whims. Just because someone is small and cute doesn't mean they can't lead...

As much as I’m trying to I don’t really see any yuri between the two girls I tried but sensei is just way to emotionless for me to catch anything it really is just a sensei and fan relationship even with my biased yuri vision

She's certainly subtle, but I think her affection is evident. The rose situation is the most blatant. When fan told her that there's meaning to a number of flowers given, sensei immediately googled it a left fan with 9. What a Chad. There were other moments but I'd need to reread to remember them.

That's basically the whole point of Kuudere: she is much less emotive than most people, but she still has feelings just like everyone else.

Having a beeper to summon a lady with a sword to defend you

Sounds like one of those one-shots with overly long and descriptive titles.

I used a beeper to summon a lady with a sword to defend me from a yandere and take me to a yuri world of true love while I was writing a yuri novel for my beloved Saonji

Sold.

Are people really so pathetic that they bully other adults over not wanting to spend mpre time at work???

It's more of a jockeying for status thing: if you are stuck in a dead-end job, even small shifts in relative status feel like an accomplishment. Meng is an overachiever who hurts her colleagues' egos by being better than them at their job. Normally, lashing out at someone for merely being better than you is inhibited by the relationship you have with them, but Meng also repeatedly refuses to privately integrate with the group, leaving her without any social protection. This, combined with the fact that she did mess up this once by not locking her computer, gave her colleagues enough justification for "knocking her down a peg" for the sake of their own egos/self-image. This is, unfortunately, a very human thing to do.

Hmm what polygon has an internal angle of 180°?

A square, if your curve the space far enough. ;-) But I see your point, and I am not sure how to feel about it...

Is this even yuri lmao

This is a magical girl series. These things are precision-engineered to tiptoe around the yuriness for as long as possible.

High practical intelligence -> disdain for "dumb people" -> alienation from humanity -> lack of direction and passion.

Mood.

This series needs the tag “based” like right fuckin’ now!

Word.

As for that "almost-sex" scene, I found it was a bit sad, because Kiwi's feeling are probably unrequited. Utena loves her, but not in a romantic way.

For once, I agree with your assessment. Utena cares a lot about Kiwi, but doesn't feel attracted to her in that primeval, physical sense like she does with Azul. That's why she is all crawled-up in a ball here: her mind knows she is about to have sex but her body just says no. It's decisively not fair for Kiwi, but there is not much she can do about Utena's subconscious.

That said, I do think that Kiwi was about to turn the mood around and to get some physical response from Utena right before her trauma reared its ugly head and she asked the Question, killing the mood. In fact, I am actually glad that Vena interrupted them: they were definitely not ready mentally -- neither to talk it out, nor to have sex to begin with.

Darn, if Maria does desert the church, we will get some actual quality storytelling from an over-the-top boobs-and-guns manga. Spending 3+ volumes to establish the two leads' chemistry before pitting them against each other is what’s called a pro writer move.

I'd just like to remind you that if the kouhai were a guy, this thread would be an anti-molestation riot, regardless of how moe the art was. Remember, kids: always ask before you immobilize someone, even if they have umpteen karate black belts. :-)

I think a lot of people are forgetting how sharp-edged a Takemiya Jin story can be.

She’s done her share of fluff, sure, but when I see the word “Soulmates” in one of her stories I’m not surprised when there’s a dark twist to it.

It's not just a dark twist, it's a last minute twist that comes completely out of left field and drives the whole story off a cliff.

Not entirely out of the left field: it is foreshadowed in the first chapter that the protagonist feels drawn towards the president occasionally, and that it doesn't line up with either of them going into heat. So the reveal that she was attracted to the prez's sister's pheromones "sticking" to her after the sisters' occasional interactions is actually quite clever.

6-69? LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!

What does this mean lol I'm so confused

69 is a sex position. Adding "LOL" after it is typically used to indicate that the speaker is mentally 14 years old. ;-)

That's one of the smoothest moves I've seen in yuri. Even made a point of googling it in front of her so she knows it's not on accident. Mad respect.

Tachibana is one smooth operator.

I actually thought that this was about the Laplace distribution, since it has more to do with random numbers than the eponymous transform.

My degree is really paying off.

Yeah. Coming back to that, just refuse when they ask you to help with their shit

Old habits die hard, and a single relaxing trip isn't gonna become a life-changer. Still, the story is extremely wholesome. I wonder what Akiyama's story is? She comes across more like an idealized guardian angel-slash-manic pixie dream girl, than a human like Kawanishi.

Imagine going on a plane trip anywhere

That's another argument in favor of this being urban fantasy.

Of all the yuri omegaverse I have read so far, this one is the best. I did not expect the ending. Berry noice :D

The difference between bad fanfic and good literature is the writing experience of the respective author.
