Has anyone seen Magical Girl Raising Project? It's fucking amazing, sure the Op and Ed suck ass (imo) but for christ sake guys, IT HAS A CANNON LESBIAN COUPLE! I'M NOT JOKING!. Definitely worth your time.

The first half really didn't do much to make that obvious. Sieg didn't get much attention than anyone else, and the character introduction suggested that Mordred was the lead

So Fate/Apocrypha seems to have decided to make Sieg the definite main character. Which is to say that Fate/Apocrypha is terrible now

Anime Gataris' lead girls look like they'll be shippable. Show itself seems like a decent club anime, though I'm not sure where it's going with it's odder aspects

Stranger still was the fact that even with the short introductions they got, all the other teams seemed more interesting than the one we're supposed to root for. They take the time to spell out that the two main girls are basically the same person like it's an endearing quirk.

If being "basically the same person" is a problem, then shouldn't the twins be worse than the protagonists?

I dunno where you'd hear that. There's a male protagonist from the start and even the manga limits what yuri there is to side characters

Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou/**Girls' Last Tour** is off to a great start. Not sure how much shipping material there'll be, but if you want a slice-of-life show this'll fit the bill nicely

Sunshine S2 is much like S1

Two Car is okay and has a bunch of shippable pairings but the main girls both have feelings for some guy. Who has no face and is written out before the series starts? It's weird

Also, Houseki no Kuni and Kekkai Sensen are both excellent

Okay, season over. Results:

Hina Logi: Decent CGDCT with some odd writing issues. Gets heavy on yuri towards the end

Princess Principal: Fun steampunk spy series. Has some plot issues (not nearly enough for most of it, then too much towards the end), but still pretty good. A yuri relationship is heavily implied by the end

Made in Abyss: Beautifully animated and kind of disturbing adventure series. Main relationship is het but it has this weird thing with backstories involving yuri-ish relationships that don't work out

Symphogear AXZ: Is Symphogear. Not too much focus on the character relationships this time, though. New girls do have vaguely poly vibes but they die

No yuri, but Knight's & Magic is worthwhile if you like giant robots

Is Made In Abyss really rough to watch? I'm kind of a wimp, horror-wise, but the visuals I've seen in screenshots are stunning so I'm tempted.

It's not really horror; there's some messed-up stuff in it, but little attempt to be scary. And it's too hopeful to even be especially dark. If you can get through Madoka it shouldn't be a problem

The upshot of this is I imagine that it's a result of wanting S2 to not look terrible
