So confirmed for no yuri? Lookin' cute so far tho, and I do like this mangaka's work a lot =w=

it's tagged as GL on dex at least, and most of Yadokawa's works are yuri so i'm not worried. and "girl meets girl" feels like a romance tag word to me as well, dunno if that's a common interpretation of that though

I'd guess it isn't Yuri yet but with the way this story is set up eventual Yuri seems very likely

With the thing about Evie being easily possessed I expect that this should lead into an arc exploring the "villainess" more and maybe giving them some idea about why Evie struggles so much with the system and just generally being made to do things she doesn't want to do. Could this be a reason why time-travel Elsa wanted them to arrive safely at the orphanage, expecting that meeting the demon princess and Dahlia would facilitate that process?

Hato x Ruri vibes off the charts this chapter. Love the facial expressions :D

Lol, Tsukushi and Hinako both just completely bluescreening in the end after being put together. Nice work indeed, though I feel like these idiots will need a couple more pushes like these before figuring things out

Nice. Good way to get past Xingyuan's fear is for Xiaoen to pursue her. I like that. Yunduo's reaction though feels a little ominous.

Yunduo is "picking up the sapphic vibes" if you will, and maybe she even understands the feeling as well...

Yeah I definitely get the impression that she caught on to the interest. It seems to only be Sixi that's not catching onto how obvious it is.

I also thought she caught the sapphic vibes, but her reaction is very neutral so I'm not sure if she's supportive yet, hence why I thought it was a ominous. But only a little ominous.

I also felt like it was ominous in the beginning, but Yunduo laughing at Sixi's continued obliviousness seems to suggest to me that she's not opposed in principle. I suspect that her looking serious was mostly due to putting together the puzzle pieces and being surprised at Xiaoen suddenly taking romantic interest in somebody, as her being single is apparently some kind of running gag in the town. So I'd say her looking a bit serious is because she realises that for Xiaoen, this is indeed a serious development and her agreeing to rent the room to Xingyuan as well as laughing at Sixi suggests to me that she's going to be supportive

Im actually more intrigued by the chapter than I thought I would be, curious to see where the story's going.
Can anybody explain the bead bracelet in the end though? Does it breaking have any significance that we know of at this point in the story?

This officially became my 2nd favourite tag. 'Communism' still reigns supreme tho

What about "Not Lizard"?

Hmm, not to start a yuri-or-not-yuri discussion, but to me this looks much more like her adopting the cactus girl as a mother/older sister than anything romantic. And tbh, with how childish the girl looks I am more comfortable with that anyway

Based Narita. Also that Aya glare when Koga leaves the room and Narita follows her speaks volumes

Interesting, slightly weird for Pei Yu to just act like she doesn't recognise the other girl though. Also another instance where I realise how much I love girls with shorter haircuts

Well, getting yourself a farmer gf and don't bother talking more to those shit relatives seems to be the obvious solution.

Jokes aside though, I love the contrast in this chapter between Xiaoen being silly and adorable to the very uncomfortably real trauma of being gay in a homophobic environment. Really curious to see the developments as well as learn more about Mu Xiaoen's background as well, she seems to have her share of drama in store too.
Overall this series is really growing on me, I'm really grateful for the recent increase in translations for high-quality gay manhua and novels from China, they create so many great stories that really deserve to be read more broadly.

This is just way too cute and wholesome, I'm crying

Every one is talking about adorable Nanao, but I've fallen more and more in love with Ena chan.
She appeared twice. And every time she appears, she turns sex into love. If you pick Ena you are not paying for a sex partner but a girl friend!

True, Ena is truly the most wholesome prostitute ever, love her every time she's featuring in a chapter

I love Xiaoen so much, praying for a fluffy and light on drama love story for her
Also interesting that this chapter basically confirmed that while she's a bit weird she's actually surprisingly competent at her job

Oh, I didn't understand this while reading the novel, but the rating cards at the end might actually be a small Jing Xiu plot to test Ji Youyan's attitude towards her. She anticipates that from her comments she'd be expected to hold up a D, which under normal circumstances would make her the one bad rating and kinda stand out as scary and possibly incur wrath from the producers. So if Youyan was selfish, she'd stick with a C to leave all negativity on Jing Xiu but the fact that she also holds up a D and then quickly switches it around shows to Jing Xiu that she was trying to take some heat of her and help her out, which is why Jing Xiu is smiling to herself after the ratings are given.

Might be overinterpreting, dunno

I mean, the smooth thing to do for this chapter would have been for Minami to say "Well I guess you'll have to marry me if you want to eat my food every day" when Yuzu complimented her cooking, but useless lesbians don't generally get to do smooth things, otherwise they wouldn't be so useless now, would they?

Apart from the Oosawa, who somehow manages to be smooth af whilst still being utterly useless.

Poor Minami is just on a daily emotional roller coaster already then Yuzu keeps throwing curveballs like this

Wow, that's a heavy first chapter. Also super happy to have Miyahara Miyako back, her previous manga is my absolute favourite. But I guess she's not in charge of the story this time

Yeah, I know, these tropes were already stale by then. But as a reminder, it got published in a purely shoujo magazine (and as far as MU can be trusted, it's the only yuri series they ever published) and in the end, it doesn't go the way people think it will. Some people are biased because they read up until chapter 9 in Spanish, but there are 13 chapters total.

Just out of curiosity, is it really 13 chapters? I read the raws on cmoa and they only had until 12, did I miss a chapter? Seemed like a definite ending though...

I went to cmoa by curiosity.

Chapter 13 is at the end of Vol 3.

It's a "bonus story". If you go on cmoa.jp and use the reader to look at the table of content of vol3, it's there.

Thanks, didn't see that. Really sucks though, I purchased the series as individual chapters which seems to not include the extra... Well, guess I'll have to wait until it's translated here then

If you're concerned about this scene and don't mind spoilers, she won't fall for the guy and this is the worst extent of him forcing himself on her I think

I'll be coming for your table to flip it if yer lying.
Also I guess I'll give this another chance (I really appreciate this kind of spoiler so, big thanks).

Haha no worries, in situations like this I often prefer to be spoiled myself.

Slight caution though, things don't really get better until chapter 8 and the guy gets a redemption arc and "good guy" treatment by both girls that I don't think he deserves in the slightest.

Hinoka looking very suspiciously at Tsukushi on the last page. Don't think she's fully figured out Tsukushi's feelings yet but she might be like "could it be?"
