So... It looks like Sungji did left, huh? If so, I'll call her a coward and a kid once again. She hurt the person she swore to protect. Meh.

MacySan,
I'm 99% sure we haven't seen something between Sue and Lynn. They had to talk more and this bts talk has to be the reason to why Sue got this contract. Why she wanted it is the big question. She may want to use it somehow but I can't find any legal or illegal way for it to work.

As for Mel not being surprised... You could see her sweating. She kept her face on but it was clear to me that this wasn't what she planned.

I find the writing kinda bad in here. Lynn immediately believing Sue and then breaking up with Mel in such a harsh way. It just feels inconsistent and forced drama.

Lynn is young and naive, that's my only explanation to it.

Also Mel accepting to get raped instead of just think of a better plan to get Sue out. Like record admitting she changed the lists ir whatever.

She was desperate and she had no idea what Sue was doing all this time. She wanted to talk but Sue had something different in mind. Mel would never do that if she knew what Sue did in the first place, I'm sure of it.

This story needs less sex and more non cliche plots.

I'm afraid Ratana likes to make cheap drama. It used to good when she was using it from time to time, it became boring the moment Sue started saying Mel will lose her job but I'm getting more hopes for better story now, at least for a while. No idea when it's going to end, probably soon, so I'm still afraid the end might be rushed.

Now that I analyze the chapter I'm starting to ask myself why would Sue need the contract Lynn made with Mel? Any ideas?

I must admit I'm impressed by not only calling the things by its name but also for Olivia's behavior here. She really did step in and she really, really is ready to destroy Sue. Giving Mel documents just like that, wow. And if Crystal is on her way they can arrest Sue right there, right now. They have everything they need - test results and eye witness of both - faking those results and sexual assault. Can't wait for the next week's chapter. I haven't felt like that for quite some time with this story. I'm really interested how it'll be solved.

Crystal is her friend but Mel never shared her past with her.

They are best friends from a long time. She knows her past. (You should re-read ep18 & 21 :) )

Hm. Will do then. When I'll find some more time. But does she know about Sue, her marriage and scar?

It wasn't mentioned in the story but I'm 90% sure she knows. Mel moved out from that city for a while after a break-up. I think Crystal would know the reason.

Not necessarily but I guess we'll have to wait and see :)

^Lynn thinks that if she acts Mel will miss her job and I'm afraid the author has no idea it's wrong because she made Sue yell her at Mel about it before.

Do we really have to go through this all over again? Probably best not to Izz sorry otherwise this thread starts getting nasty.

I was just quoting Enk to prove that i stand corrected.

Some ugly things had to happen when I was out then. Ok, dropping it now. Don't want to cause another mess.

You really make me wanna quote you

No idea who's quote it is but Seju tormented Sumin just as much if not more (I still believe she was manipulating her most serious relationships)

Who was the one who called Seju in the middle of the night when she was having sex with other girls?
Who came back just to revenge?

How many times did she call her though?

She was also responsible for her own suffering since it was her idea to break Sumin, make her always come back and hate her each time more and more.

Why do you think its her idea to break Sumin while actually its Sumin who wanted to break Seju first for her own revenge?

Do I really need to quote Seju's words? It was the chapter where Sumin came to her beaten up by the redhead's fiance.

I would never agree with you for a single thing, really. You blame every single thing on Seju and making Sumin a puppet or sth, like because Seju did this, so Sumin just made it equal by doing sth next.

I've never said Sumin is without any guilt though. They both are. It's just not the same caliber IMO.

Hoho, so you forgot all about it :P

Enk Yeah, I just can't see anything bout Sumin and Seju's relationship being positive or worth saving, the year and years of horrible treatment Seju received from Sumin will never disappear

I stand partially corrected.

Yoonie - we all have different opinions :) and some of us will never change our minds.

Yeah, sure, but btw, does Enk ring a bell to you?

Hmm, nope. But you made me curious so please tell me what's that? :p

Just a person who has the same opinion with you and you could have the same equation with that person to have a nice conversation with, LOLL, too bad, she/he deleted all her posts already.

I think I usually agree with Es0teric :)

Even if that Enk didn't delete his/her posts, I'm not sure I'd find time to read them. I didn't catch up with what you were writing here since my last visit. Life is freakin brutal lastly, I can't even sleep 6h per day... And often end up not sleeping for over 24h so my mood isn't good either :|

Grace was beaten, not sexually assaulted so the experience is competely different IMO. And yeah, can't see them together either :)

If Mel didn't trust Crystal before then I can't see her trusting her now. It'd be OOC for her.

I think Olivia is a coward so I'm not sure if she'd be the one to tell Lynn... Crystal, yes. Olivia... I just can't. Maybe she'll surprise me though.

I don't think Lynn is suffering nearly as much as Mel. It looks like for now she gave up with her life, she's waiting for death to come and get her. All of it will hit her later. She made a huge mistake and the one who's paying for it right now is no one else but the person she tried to protect.

Mel's employment should never be in danger. There's no rule that says doctors can't operate on their family, friends and generally people they care about. They often do so because there're not many specialists in this world.

To me Seju is manipulative. And she did cheat with a bartender so she is a cheater.

If Sungji ran away then to me she is a kid.

I'm mainly Sumin fan even though I like Seju and Sungji but I can't see Sumin ending up with Seju no matter what and I'm not sure if I'd accept her with Sungji right now either. I see Seju part as done. Sungji gotta talk with Sumin, not act live a coward.

I can see Lynn being pissed off and wanting a revenge instead of breaking down tbh. It's Mel who's always blaming herself for other people pain and suffering, it's also her who wish to take this suffering from them. This time it'll be her suffering so she'll be the one in need. I can't see Grace being able to help her. Crystal, maybe to some degree but not too much either. Lynn should, and I hope will, fight for her. This whole sick situation is still possible to get fixed if it's done the proper way. And if the author will give them enough time to deal with the consequences of what happened. I'm not sure if Lynn will be able to act right away due to the fear of Mel losing her job... But she may act hidden. She's not stupid, she had to know Sue is up to something. She just didn't know what exactly and how serious it is. So yeah, I can see her being pissed off like never before.

Fun fact: I've read a lot of "Seju deserves better" or "Sungj deserves better", lolll, but come on, Sumin is the best for both of them, lollll

How about "Sumin deserves better" lol. She ends up with either a manipulative cheater and abuser obsessed with her, who can't really understand her or with a kid who made her fall in love again, made her work hard to hear the magic words, gave her happiness and... dumped her, again.

As for Lynn, she seems to be much stronger than Mel and I'm sure she'll want to be there for her if she ever finds out about what happened (crossing my fingers for Crystal to tell her somehow). It can actually push her to want to live more than ever. The question is - will Mel let her close enough again? From what we know about Mel is that she's alone and she shouldn't be alone after this. Crystal is her friend but Mel never shared her past with her. The only person Mel opened up to was Lynn and she seems to be the only one who can comfort her. So if Mel pushes her away, I, like you, can't see a happy ending. We know the story is nearly over so I already suspect that ending will be rushed up at least in some parts so I hope it won't be too illogical and some things won't get ignored.

^What Sue is doing to Mel is sexual assault IMO. She forced her into it and it's clear Mel didn't want it, doesn't enjoy it and is scared. She's also resisting very hard. So I agree with you when you say it's difficult to picture a happy ending right now. Because even if Mel will forgive Lynn she may never be able to trust her with her body. Mel allowed Lynn to please her only once. And it was the very first time after her relationship with Sue had come to an end so it took many years for her to trust someone this deep. How can Lynn repair the damage she did, how can Mel intimately trust her again? I have no idea...

Olivia has to not only step up but also reveal everything she's seen. Faking lab tests to prevent a heart transplant is a serious crime and Sue has to face justice. I'm tired of both of them already so this part better get solved fast.

I tried to give Sue a chance but after ch58 I'm unable to.

Lynn better end up working hard to earn Mel's trust back too. I hate the way she broke up with her.

Wonder who's gonna step in first: Olivia or Crystal. Olivia is the only witness of this assault and she's also the only person who knows about Sue's crimes.

I dont think she knew Sungji was having the ring. If she knew, they could've continued wearing it already or she could've asked about it at least once, both were keeping their respective ring after all, what's wrong with wearing it? xDDDDD

When Seju threw the ring at Sungji (and she picked it up) wasn't it at the cheating scene with the three of them there? Maybe Sumin saw it? Or did I read that scene wrongly?

It looked like she disappeared and reappeared when Sungji was outside somehow so I guess she didn't see it.

In order for Sumin to truly know where her heart lies she needs to be free from both Seju and Sungji. A possibility is that Sungji realises this which is why she leaves at the end of the chapter. Seeing Sumins reaction to the gossip behind her reminds Sungji that Sumin is still tied to Seju at some level.

I think you're always tied to your first love at some level.

I just said "some level" as I'm not sure entirely at which level they are tied. Definitely not at a level where Sumin can just move on easily.

Not a level where she can go back to Seju just like that either.
