Craptree

And then Seol-a realises its not about the umbrella

Holy crap. Is that really what it says? Impressive.

Hah, the realising thing is non-verbal / wishful thinking.
I did translate some more, but you get weird results: No-rae after the flashback: Yes inde umbrella.
Well I got the world umbrella! :)

I don't like this. It'll be months before No-Rae's hair will be this long again. I want this NOW.
But it is cute, and very much like Ssamba's style.

Honestly I'm laughing so much right now. But I'm not sure why.

Guys, do you rebember that time when we had ONLY text and no rough typeset for a LONG time (and not only for 1 chapter)? Do you?

Yes. I used to clean out the roughs myself (at work) and copypaste halmony's translation in later. The good old days. Long time ago. If I remember correctly almost 5 weeks!

Now, because there are people who do this, readers got used to get TS right away. And sometimes I think some of them just demanding to have it right away. Any delay for them is unforgivable. Like, seriously? You really can't wait 3 days? 3 days?

Internet reduced the memoryspan of some people to that of a goldfish, so what else is new. I have so little patience that the moment FF is up i'll read it. (for a given value of 'read') That often means two visits to comico, once in firefox for saving the roughs, and once in chrome for the build in translation of the Korean comments.

Omg. So this is what it feels like to wait for the release then "read" it and then wait for the translation... I should've resisted!!!

Welcome to the club. Good chapter i think. Cute glasses.

sidenote:
unshaved brother - nice detail to give a family feeling to the scene.. wonder what he was complaining about

Car?

Anyway, if Stretch becomes yuri-ish, I don't think the publisher is going to be dead against it.

Publishers follow the money. Stretch is popular, even when most readers see it as yuri. So the publishers are not going to complain.
But I agree with those who feel Shou is taking a bit longer then necessary; getting a bit repetitive. Still entertaining, but the tension is gone.

there's something I didn't get in the last chapter, No-rae's mum looking awkward before saying her parting words to Seol-a. Where did the "blank stare" come from? Seol-a's height? And what did Seol-a mean by "If there's anything you'd like to say"? That alone sounds weird... or was it just me?

No, I thought the same thing, I had the feeling I missed something.

Best chapter in ages. I can't explain why, but this just feels right. Praise be Boon Scanlations!
takachi

But of course Ran's worried. First, there's a miscarriage, second, there's the conflict with Keiko's mother. Not very positive topics - Keiko might fall in a depressive mood. This is sort of supported by Ran's question at the end ("Have you recently had nightmares, senpai?" unless I, again, mistranslate and misinterpret things).
Besides, Ran understands that Keiko does want to have a child a lot but this is something she can't give her. This is however, more of a yuri-goggles speculation.

Do not adjust your goggles. The worrying about the nightmares says a lot about Ran. She loves Keiko, and wants her to be happy. She is in love with her, but after the chocolate chapter seems to have given up. She drowns her feels in booze. As Nya-chan suggested; they are stuck in the friendzone, although I do think Shou gave us some hints Keiko is interested in Ran in "that way"

It's interesting how in this chapter their interests and interactions again felt somehow disconnected although up till recent chapters it felt like they have totally been in sync with each other just about everything.

I never had that feeling about them. They are pretty different people, like most couples I guess.

Anyways, looking forward to the translation. And so great the three-week-wait season is over! FF with its stable weekly schedule totally spoiled me ^^"

Well he promises an update next week.

Ran didn't seem too happy to see Keiko playing with a child

Let's wait for Boon, but yeah my first thought too.

next chapter comes out in exactly 7 days

Unusual, but I'm not complaining.

Yes, you can't stay straight with Ran living with you.

I can

Yup.

Thanks Grandma!

No-Rae's brother basically just told her to go for it so she should really go for it now.

She is thinking about the possibility she is gay, and now the girl who made her think about that shows up at her parents house. This is going to be fun.

HypocriticalLiar

My current head!canon: Seol-a's already there when No-rae shows up.

Wow. Deep bow.

Tiger

So if I were Seol-a I'd mostly be worried that No-rae was going to pull another stunt like the one at school but instead in front of family, and it'd be SUPER awkward after already having introduced herself as No-rae's friend. It's probably not that much of a gamble because I doubt it's expected to blow up after just getting home but Seol-a is probably nervous nonetheless because WHAT IF something went wrong and it was embarrassing, awkward, and killed their friendship forever?!

The sweat, her mouth, yeah she is worried she has gone to far.

And what story is she telling herself: 'I want to keep this friendship whatever the cost'? The whole drive to No-rae's house, and she never thought about the madness of it all? She blackmailed her brother to get his car, then told No-rae's parents some lie.. And still she doesn't realise she's in love.

Now you're okay for the theory test, time to study to the practical test

Good read.

I'd think this mess would be a better example.

You mean the manga or the forum thread? The manga was great, the thread was just terrible. One star out of five.

Damn, you could be right. Then we, I mean No-rae would have made no progress at all. Dammit.

Hi, comico switched their release schedule from midnight to 6:00AM only last week, or from now on?

Well as it is past midnight in Seoul now, your question is answered :)
more than 5 hours to go.

Nya-chan.

Just that in real life, police and justice wouldn't have let it slide just like that and would have investigated to know what really happened.

If it was necessary for the story, we would have seen more of the police investigating. So it probably wasn't.

My point is not that FF is "not realistic enough". On the contrary, since it's not that much realistic, I tried to calm the worries of some people about a date-rape that could happen.

I hope this doesn't happen, it's difficult even for a good writer like Ssamba to include something so sad into the main story, without it becoming a complete drama. And I think what she wants to write is a lovestory (with some drama).

As always thanks Halmoni.
And I'm not a native speaker also, so can someone tell me what: If that bastard doesn't let loose over there, we can say he's completely crazy. means in this context?

Not native speaker either but I suppose that mean if he keep going with his act and manage to restrain himself from taking her to bed then he's crazy. Means as a sane man, he will definitely try to jump her >.>

I take this "let loose" as "stop acting the dumb guy without ulterior motive and go for it"

Ok Thanks!

These scanlators have impeccable timing. Right after April Fool's!

Boon is a miracle worker. Stretch is always translated within a day, and a lot of interesting (not yuri) manga on his website. Read Kuro for instance.
